Oof, what a pain to come to this location. And can I add a 'yikes.' I had one item I knew I needed and decided I would give this place a try as they carry the off the wall type of items you know other places won't carry. Came in and made my way to the home section to do a browsing crawl. I looked over every shelf. Then did it again and again. By doing so, I was finally able to find the item I wanted as if I manifested it. Even though I had it in my hands I did another two or three scans of the unorganized shelves because even if there are more of the one item, it won't be right next to this one. Then we went up front to check out and this took forever and a day. The line filled the whole gauntlet area and moved so slowly that I'm pretty sure I could have done this so much simpler via self checkout. Finally get to the counter, pay and out we went. read more

I went on October 18 around 8:30 , terrible customer service from cashier 1. Not a good attitude towards guest.

It's one of the few Marshalls that's in top shape. Very clean and organized store. Clearance sections don't look like a hurricane hit it. Beauty section is very clean, this is a must Cuz must places, you'll find opened items with products spilled every where. Very nice employees that don't like a self made CEO. Only Con Is if you have to use the restroom, an employee has to let you in, but hey the restrooms are very clean! read more

Getting in and out of this Lincolnia shopping center is awful. The parking situation is dreadful. Yet if you can survive the northern Virginia hunger games, you can succeed on your mission. This Marshall's has a good selection for young males. My son is in this demographic, and prices are quite competitive. Do I wish they had more for taller adults? Yes but can't win them all. Appreciate that my son is able to find sweatpants, hoodies, socks, and occasionally shoes here. It's good to get decent quality for less. You will be in some checkout lines. That's at all discount stores. The employees here are good folks, and have found them to be quite helpful. If you're close to the highway or area, this could work for you. read more

This is probably the worst Marshalls I have ever visited. The restroom was dirty and old. The collections are not attractive. The displays are messy. I could not find anything will catch my eyes. read more

I actually like this Marshall's a lot. It may not be the biggest or tidiest but I always seem to find really cool things here. I was immediately greeted at the door by a gentleman employee who was super friendly & kind & he assisted me with getting my cart. 7/6/21 Visiting this store for the second time was a little better than the first time. Still, the associate who was standing near the front of the store greeted us as we walked through the front door. This helped set the tone and mood of our experience here. The store was well organized and clean. I forgot what my wife ended up buying here, but I am pleased to say when we needed assistance, an associate wasn't far away to assist. I miss the Marshalls of many years ago. The chain seems to be overpriced and not as interesting as it used to be. This store was spacious and clean. There were lots of toys at the front of the store. It seemed more like a daycare center than a display of toys. There were many kids crawling on the toys. It seemed as if some of the parents were ditching their kids while they shopped. There was a large selection of handbags but they were overpriced and not "calling" to me. The store is just okay. read more

I love discount stores, especially the whole Marshalls/TJ Maxx/Homegoods chain - if you have the time to sift through their items, you can always leave with some treasures and things that you thought you never needed (but, at such a great price and the unique-ness of the item, you end up purchasing it!). I found 2 cute turquoise-colored rooster mason jars, pup shampoo, a beautiful luxurious throw, and pup snacks, all on clearance! Even one of my favorite perfumes, Juicy Couture's 'Couture Couture' special edition was on holiday clearance - yahoo! I also love perusing through their clearance section, even though it can get kind of hectic with all the other discount seekers. Not much of a fan of their clothing selection, but I did manage to find a nice black cardigan and a long-sleeved shirt for a competitive price. Their house furnishings are pretty solid, such as their armchairs, woven baskets, coffee tables, and other home decor. The staff are always pleasant and friendly, especially the cashiers. Decent selection overall, prices are what you'd expect at Marshall's and service is just fine. I give this location three stars since there was nothing here that blew my socks off, it was just an okay experience. I found what I needed (e.g. thank-you cards, general stuff for the house) the prices were ok and the service was friendly. For that reason, I'd shop here again depending on what I needed. read more

I frequent this Marshalls all the time. Service is much better and friendlier than it was years ago. The store is huge, but the inventory is low. It's very dark and hot inside all the time too. Lines are so long, but often they are understaffed and never have enough cashiers available. They could use better lighting in there. The store is not clean as others in the area either. Parking here is ample, but it's very hard to get in and out of this shopping plaza. read more

The lines are long as all get out. It's hot, dirty, messy and junkie in here. I only come to get pictures or wall art but that's all. I wish there was a Home Good's in this shopping center. Anyway, the cashier was nice and had a smile on her face which made me smile. The customers in line were on my nerves. They kept inching up every few seconds which I told them I'm not going to do a lot of inching. I have items in my hand that I'm not picking up and putting down every time someone adjusts them selves in line. read more

Best experience here: Walk into the men's section, and I don't know what the dress shirt numbers are... So I ask Lily, and she is friendly and helpful providing accurate information that the numbers refer to my neck and arm length. She goes above and beyond in directing me to the front of the store where they will actually measure me. I went to the dressing room first, but the dressing room attendant was useless - they are trained to give and take numbers; I don't hold it against the experience. I go up to the front, expecting less help than before - To my surprise, Joyce - front store coordinator - steps out and takes the time to measure me and direct me to the clothes I should be looking for. Overall five stars well deserved; I will be shopping here in the future because of the great service, and Joyce is usually at the front if you want the same delightful experience! read more

I've been to marshals twice this month and the stores are consistently in disarray. Products are scattered on the shelves and sometimes on the floor . But I did find what I was looking for at reasonable prices read more

I will say this is not receiving 5 stars simply because of the manager who was rude. I stumbled across this location by accident while at a furniture store in that shopping mall (terrible furniture by the way..but was out of options and looking anywhere). I stopped into Marshall's..one of my favorite stores..and happened to find a couch that I fell in love with. I explained I wanted to buy it and actually ended up buying over $1300 worth of things at the store. This is a huge Marshall's store and the inventory includes a lot of high-end items. I had to arrange for the couch to be picked up and delivered as they could not hold it for more than 2-3 days and I only have a small car. That's fine--I understood that. I wanted to make sure the couch was put in the back so it was not damaged and so nobody else sat on it. A very nice employee was helping me and I asked him to bag up the pillows and cushions because I wanted to take them that day. He asked the manager and she would not let me take them--umm hey I just paid for it, it belongs to me and yes, I can. We literally argued about this and her demeanor was unpleasant and rude during the whole conversation. Her name was Donna I believe. Another employee told me she was hard to work with. In the end Donna won, but her reasoning was if i didnt come back for it she would have to resell it. Hi, Donna..I am not sure if you think I am made of money, but if I spend over $1000 on a sofa I AM COMING BACK FOR IT!!! After I paid I came back to make sure they were putting in the back-- people kept coming by to sit in it just to "relax" in the store--and it was still there. I told the manager I wasn't leaving until it was put away and she was like ok well when he is done with his inventory (referring to the nice guy that was helping me) he will do it. Again--no, I just spent $1300+ dollars and 2 hours in this store..I want it done now. The guy did it, but that woman should not be a manager. Terrible people skills, rude and nasty. read more

I didn't feel this marshals was that great. The store was very clean and well organized so I will give it that. However the selection of items was pretty though there were almost no shower curtains or some other things I was looking for. I noticed they were selling Neutra bullet at a discounted pricehowever they discreetly marks the box that they were reconditioned. I thought that was kind of misleading. This was my first time ever visiting this place with my service dogs and I have never been treated in such a terrible and illegal way in my life. Not only is Marshall known for being dog friendly and I see dogs there all the time in different states but the actual representative , who ended up being the store manager which is worse, screamed at me to show ID that my dogs are service dogs. Now not only is that illegal under the ADA because they r only allowed to ask two questions but according to the ADA there is no license or vest is required . The manager then proceeded to tell me that Marshall only allows small dogs not bigger dogs and that I needed to leave because apparantly I was lying. At this point I was embarrassed because she had made a scene in the middle of marshall but she was discriminating on the size of my dogs and going completely against the law . I decided to leave at this point because did not want to ruin my day . I will NEVER visit this Marshall's again and I made a formal complaint against this place. I would never recommend this place to anyone stay clear!!!! read more

I came into this location in order to find a dress for a special occasion. After quite some time, and numerous trips to the dressing room, I found the perfect dress. Upon trying to buy the dress I was informed by customer service that it was not for sale because there was no tag. After calling the manager over she too stated that there was no way to find the price for the dress so I wouldn't be able to purchase it. You would think they would want my money, apparently not. read more

If I give this Marshalls a ZERO I would, tonight I came here like an hour before closing and as it got closer the manager kept calling come to the front and check out we are closing soon but my husband went to the bathroom and I waited at the front for him and the manager said I have to close the store so wait outside in 20 degree weather. I was shocked and yes I understand there are closing procedures that have to be taken in retail and I have worked retail on many occasions but I have never forced customers out of the store and told them to wait outside. read more

I found few things, but the manager on duty had a very bad attitude. I was standing at the register ready to pay, and there was question regarding price that I directed towards her and the sales associate. She kept talking to the sales associate as though I wasn't standing there. I think the manager needs to learn how to provide basic customer service. Store does have decent selection of merchandise, but I rather go the Marshalls in Bailey's Cross Road or better yet, the one on Rte 1/Jefferson Davis Hwy. I will find great merchandise, and will not have to deal with below average customer service. read more
