A major insurance claim repair took them twice to fix and I am not confident it is truly fixed this time either.

Liberty Mutual scheduled a rental car for me Monday and for my car to be repaired at Marshall Steinbeck. I stopped in before the weekend to make sure they would fix all the dents, broken exhaust, and wiring caused by a women hitting my car. (her car was totaled after the crash) The first minute I met GLen he said verbatim, "If you don't want to get your car fixed here then I don't want to waste my time." High pressure salesman vibe.. should have walked away.. When I showed him the damage to my car he claimed that someone slamming into my car wouldn't cause all that damage. I offered to show him pictures of the crash to explain the damage and he got Very confrontational, "if you file a claim and don't use the money to pay me to fix the car that is fraud!" He was dismissive, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. Glenn said the quote would be around $1500.. total BS. Just to do the paint job on my car would be $1500. read more

I had an insurance claim which they referred me to this shop. They were very helpful right from the start as to how the claim works, they gave me all of the information I needed to get a rental and when I had my vehicle fixed they did a great job, my car looked like it wa new again! I highly recommend their shop and I would definitely go there again if I needed too!! read more

I had an unfortunate run in with a large deer, front end of my car was an absolute mess. We have depended on Glen at Steinbeck on four occasions, he never fails to deliver on quality, amazing finish work and customer service. He never cuts corners to get work done faster. Second time I've had them fix cars. Awesome customer service! Granted my subaru was drivable and they could order parts ahead, but they were really really quick with the repairs. Paint was perfect, car was clean and 100% back to orginal. I highly recommend these people. I won't go anywhere else. read more

My insurance recommended them. What a disaster. Sent me an initial assurance that all parts were on order and that the vehicle would likely be repaired by the end of the following week. The following week, when I expected the car to be completely repaired, they said they were having a hard time finding some parts due to supply chain issues (reasonable, but they should have told me that up front instead of saying whatever necessary to secure my business and prevent me from shopping around). At the end of the following week, they said they were now waiting for the part to arrive directly from the manufacturer, which meant that up until that point, they had not yet pursued that avenue and were looking to buy it more cheaply elsewhere, during which time I was paying $400/week for a rental. Every week for the past four weeks, they have assured me that the following week it will be done. After four weeks, they now have the parts they need, but now they are short staffed (which is a frequent problem they have if you read other reviews) because one of their workers called out for a week, so now my car will be ready mid-week next week. I have been paying $400/week for a rental, so all the challenges this business has had are effectively ways they have saved money at my expense. There is zero chance I will ever work with this shop again, and I want to warn people about this business. read more

I explained that the car was not drivable and my insurance told me that typically shops will bump cars like that up their list but the woman I spoke with shut me down immediately (. I was extremely discouraged and after speaking w/ my insurance and getting a list of other shops that were approved, I decided to contact Steinbeck Collision. This was the best decision I could've made! They were able to get my car in that day, they handled the tow. They handled all the insurance pieces and continued to update the car rental company so my rental could be extended til my car was done. Not only did Steinbeck save the day, they did it with kindness. Getting into an accident is traumatic and a little bit of compassion and empathy goes a LONG way. They've kept me updated each step of the way and I'm so delighted to have my car back to it's pre-deer state. 100% recommend Marshall Steinbeck! read more

I had to bring my car here for body and mechanical repair. SMC was quick with the fix and worked directly with my insurance company. I received updates through phone calls during the three days my car was in-shop. However, when I picked up my car I noticed a strange noise- similar to a playing card clipped to a bicycle tire. I called them and they asked me to come back for a test drive to point it out. The gentlemen were very helpful and courteous and half a day later, all was well. The owner was more than helpful to evaluate the damages properly and get the job done quickly within the budget and. SMC also worked with my insurance company directly to review a few extra works which were not listed on the original appraisal. SMC even handled the annual inspection for us in the near by station after repair. Good Job. I don't know what happened to some stories of low ratings. Glen at Marshall Steinback Collision was so friendly and trustworthy while I spoke with him about my car which needed repairs after an accident. After just a week and a half my car looked and drove good as new, and in the mean time I was able to drive around a rental that they provided. Would definitely recommend! read more

Terrible place, they told me to wait two week because they were "short staffed" I went back three weeks later and they said they were refusing to work on my car. And that they had told me that. They blatenly lied to my face. They run a terrible business. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Earlier in the year, I brought my car in for an estimate and could not believe how rude the appraiser was. It amazes me how people in the customer service business can be so horrible and keep their jobs. The appraiser talked to us as if we were 5 years old and yelled at me for touching the car!! News flash - ITS MY CAR!! Then continued to talk down to us as we asked about the repair and insurance process. Bottom line is the appraiser was arrogant and not helpful at all - if you want to be treated with respect DO NOT GO HERE!!! read more

Friendly, fast service. Came after minor accident to fix front light, they worked quickly with my insurance, took care of everything and were very kind to boot. Honest and trustworthy, I was nervous as a young woman going to a mechanic I did not know after an accident and they made me feel completely welcome and able to trust them. They even removed and patched up nail in my tire for me as an extra. Fantastic, whoever did not care for them three years ago must have had someone who no longer works there. read more

These guys know their business and are friendly and helpful. The work did take a day longer than they stated but it was done to perfection.
