Dr. Christiansen does not want to work with families on an alternate schedule. I believe that children should be vaccinated, I just don't believe in getting more than 2 shots in one visit. So at the well child visits, we would only get 2 shots. I received a discharge letter for my 4 month old son from the Marshall Pediatric office due to "vaccine refusal." I am very disappointed with Dr. Christiansen for not taking the time to talk to me before making such a drastic decision to discharge my 4 month old son from his office. He never communicated that being discharged was even an option. Don't waste your time with this doctor. It's his way or he'll dismiss you as a patient. So very sad that the doctor / patient relationship is basically nonexistent with Dr. Christiansen.

No imaging... it was like a 5 minute office visit literally in and out. They're in-network and charged my insurance over $600 for it, yikes. We paid our copay in office. Then we got a bill for $200 in the mail? With absolutely zero explanation of what the charge was for. How much are they trying to make off this? We usually use MDSTAT in EDH and they've never sent us an extra bill. Anyway, I figured it was a mistake and waited for them to clear it up with insurance. They sent it straight to collections like 2 months later. When I tried to call their billing office, no answer, I left a voice mail and they never got back to me. I just paid it to get it over with but 100% will never go back here. I've never had a medical or dental office send a bill to collections, ever, let alone so fast without trying to clear it up with me first. And truly can't believe they charged that much for such a simple procedure. I still don't know what the $200 charge was for considering they're in network and we paid our copay. Oh well, we'll stick with MDSTAT.

They have two banquets during the year, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Buffet style, Prime rib, turkey, poached salmon with all the trimmings with desserts galore. When my husband started declining I contacted Hospice and between Hospice, me and the Caregivers at Eskaton he was in very good hands. The caregivers and med techs were wonderful. They treated my husband like he was their own grandfather. He was treated with dignity, love and some shed tears when he passed. He very much enjoyed the people he met. Some becoming good friends and they would meet mornings for breakfast. He was very well taken care of. I have no regrets.........

Let me just preface this with stating that I never leave a bad review of business' as a rule, as a previous business owner myself I understand bad days, bad employees etc. and choose not to rope in an entire establishment for a bad experience and always chose to address it privately, HOWEVER a doctor's office gives little to no avenue to remedy a bad experience. They all seem to have a level of ancillary protection from bad customer service and unprofessionalism as we our all, often, left with little alternatives. Marshall Pediatrics has been my provider of my 3 children for 14 years, over the past 2 years they have become unreliable to say the least, mostly due to them losing staff, but they have done nothing to correct the situation and have only given apologies for not being able to see my kids in a timely matter. We have spent more time in urgent care than at their own providers office. My son was turning 12 and needed his well check/immunizations for school and he needed his health check for sports. I called in May/June '22, I was told the earliest he could see his doctor (Christiansen) was January 3, 2023. I was reasonably upset by this but took the appointment and had to go to urgent care and pay extra for his sports health check. In the meantime, we were unable to get any appointments for when my kids were sick and had to go to urgent care. For reference the last time my son was seen in that office was December 2021. After months of waiting, we get a call on December 28th, telling me that Dr Christiansen will not be in the office on the 3rd and his next available appointment wouldn't be until March. I said no, that is unacceptable, after waiting months for the appointment to call me a week before and tell me the Dr will not be in the office, is not how you conduct business, and I will not be changing my appointment they needed to figure out how to meet their commitment. I was then transferred to someone introduced as the Director, Angie Dillon. She again said I am sorry, but the doctor will not be in office, and I will have to change my appointment. I told her that I do not want an apology I want her to fix the situation that they have created. She then said to me I understand that you are upset but I will not be spoken to this way. Flabbergasted I asked her to clarify in what way I was speaking, I had not raised my voice nor been belligerent in any way. I had only advocated for myself at their total disregard of me. We ended the call shortly after she offered to have a NP give my son his immunizations the following week. However, we have found a new doctor that is able to see my son next week, only a few days after his original long-awaited appointment. The fact is that this office staff took no responsibility for creating a situation in which I was the only one required to do anything to fix it. They have no regard for my time, my child's health or concern for how I am being treated. When I spoke up and made them reflect on their failings in this situation their director had the audacity to imply, I was being disrespectful or unprofessional. At any point had they even pretended to care about their complete disregard for me and said to me, without empty platitudes, that they understand that asking me to reschedule is ridiculous and that they will do whatever they can to make it right, I would never have written this review. read more
