The young ladies working the bar and kitchen were amazing. So friendly and helpful. Honestly some of the nicest we've encountered over our week in the asheville area. We ordered nachos, pulled pork sandwich, potato wedges with all fixings, other things I can't remember, and the avocado app. The latter was our least favorite but we had to try it. The nachos were plentiful and we had more than enough to share. The imperial red beer was the repeat purchase at this wonderful brewery. We hope to return to Mars Theatre the next time we find ourselves in NC.

Of course, I looked up the reviews on Yelp and was pleasantly surprised to see that they served traditional English pub fare with a good beer selection... yes please! Quite a few colorful locals were outside razzing each other and checking out my JDM van, so I felt at ease when walking in. The bartender greeted me warmly and was happy to make some food recommendations where Chicken Tikka Masala and Curry chicken were the local favorites. I opted for the chicken curry and was not disappointed! Just the right amount of curry spice, fresh rice, and oh-so-soft NAAN on the side. It really hit the spot. Bonus that the taps had a rotating English mild ale from a local brewery on tap and was the perfect pairing to the curry. All in all, a very fortuitous find!
