I brought my Tesla Model Y in to fix a paint issue for the second time. While I appreciate the effort to resolve the original concern, I was very disappointed with the loaner vehicle provided. They gave me a 2006 Toyota Corolla with over 113,000 miles. For a premium brand, this felt like a huge miss in customer experience and brand alignment. The gap between my car and the loaner was substantial and didn't reflect the level of service I expected. I understand loaner availability can vary, but customers should receive a vehicle that reasonably matches the quality of what they drive--especially when returning for a rework. This experience left me feeling undervalued. I even shared my feedback with the team onsite when picking up my car, and the response I received was, "It's a free car" and "Whelp, that is how it is here." That attitude was disappointing and reinforced the feeling that customer experience wasn't a priority. I hope they review their loaner policy and approach to feedback to ensure better experiences in the future. read more

Our Volvo's fender was struck in a parking lot. The passenger door would bind when opened, but barely any visible damage. We received a quote from another body shop that was over $2600. We sent photos to Marshalls but because there was no visible damage were asked to bring it in. Upon visible inspection Nick the technician looked at the car and in 10 minutes took care of the binding, and buffed the mirror which had a minimum scrape. He did that with no charge!!!!! We would highly recommend Marshalls! Courteous, professional and honest!!! read more

This isn't something I usually do but I feel the need to warn the public. My grandma, 84 years old, was extremely mistreated by the owner of Marshall auto body in Waukesha/Pewaukee. She was very clear on her requests to have the parts replaced with the same materials that came with the vehicle. They agreed, assured her, and gave her a loaner vehicle while hers was being worked on. She was told it would be a week. A week later they call to tell her the work was complete and she could pick up her car. She thanked them but asked if she could check out the vehicle to make sure the parts were as promised. All of a sudden they say they need to order another part and it would be 2 more weeks. That weekend she went out of town for two days, when she got back, she tried to start the loaner car and it would not start. Marshall's came to her home and jumped the car. Again, the next day, the car would not start again. She called. Not only did they tell her they WOULD NOT come out to help her. They told her to call a tow truck! She explained it was obviously a battery and she was not going to call a tow truck for a loaner vehicle that was not hers. This car sat non drivable in her garage for 2 weeks. They called again and told her that her vehicle was complete and she should sign the documents online and they would drop it off. She explained that she wanted to look and check out the work before signing off on the car. They told her she was being difficult to work with. She apologized for them feeling that way and explained she just feels more comfortable checking out the work before signing. She went in to see her vehicle and once again they asked about the loaner car. She again told them that it was in her garage and it needs a battery. The owner, Nick, was sitting in the back of the shop yelling across the shop at her. He was saying they would not release her vehicle until she tows the loaner in. Again, she refused and told them they are welcome to pick it up. He continued to yell across the shop. She was trying to understand the situation. She is hard of hearing, she asked for him to come closer so she could hear him better. Nick told her he didn't feel like it. Again he kept saying it would not be released unless she towed it in. She called the police. A nice officer came out, talked with her, went in and talked with the owner, Nick, and suddenly he was able to release the vehicle and agreed to pick up the loaner in 20 min. I am so shocked on the lack of professionalism by this company and the way they choose to treat their clients, especially an elderly client. I am ready to scream it from the roof tops, DO NOT USE MARSHALL AUTO BODY!!! Not only was she mistreated, but the materials were NOT THE SAME. They put a cheaper hood on her vehicle. She is now looking into what actions she can take to have the hood properly replaced but at least she now has her vehicle back after 3 weeks of dealing with this company. read more

I have never been treated as rudely as I was treated by an employee at Marshall Auto Body. I submitted an online request for an estimate to repair a paint scratch on a Monday afternoon. When I didn't receive a response by Friday, I drove my vehicle to their location to ask what the delay was and to ask if they could provide me an estimate on site. I was told by an overly pompous, pretentious and arrogant employee that they were extremely busy and that they had my photos from the online submission and that I would hear from them eventually. This individual is clearly unfit for a position in customer service. I've never encountered such a discourteous individual in my life. For the sake of their business, I hope they don't let him interact with customers too often. I'm happy that their business is good, but to treat new customers like this is completely wrong. Other shops will give an on-site estimate within minutes, regardless of how busy they might be. My estimate would have taken them five minutes at most (as there was no actual body damage), but they were "too busy" to provide me an estimate over a three day period and then also refused to provide me an estimate when I visited their facility. Given that the owner prides himself on lean manufacturing principles, I'm dumbfounded why he would allow his staff to take so long to provide a simple estimate. Thankfully, there are many other body shop options out there. read more

Called Marshall's to get some expert advice on paint. But had a really bad experience. I was trying to get some info about ceramic coating on a new truck I have coming. The secretary was very nasty and yelling at me "what did I want". Told her I would like to talk to a paint expert. Finally she transferred me to a guy that just kept yelling Carisma, call Carisma. I just wanted to know what they thought of the product. Oh well.. I then called Mander Collision and Glass. I had a really nice conversation about paint and the ceramic process, and was it worth it. Long story short.. if I ever need a body shop Mander's gets it. No way will I ever recommend Marshals. Evil people! read more

After I got into a car accident my insurance company referred me here. I told the guy I was talking to on the phone that my car absolutely needed to be done by August 31st because I would be driving back to La Crosse for school on September 1st. I said if that wasn't possible, that's okay and I will take it somewhere else to get it fixed later. He ASSURED me that they would have it fixed by that date with plenty of time to spare. On August 30th I received a call from the nasty receptionist, Sarah, that my car would need to be in the shop another week because a part was on back order. However, I called the day before and they said my car was on track to be done the next day. Don't make promises you can't keep just because you want my money. Now I have wasted my time and money on this company. Absolutely will not be coming back and Sarah needs to fix her attitude towards customers. Marshall's did a great job removing roofing sealant from my Tesla Model Y. They were courteous and professional.

I had to go through Marshall's, per my insurance, for a collision (the other driver was at fault) I had that destroyed my back bumper. The collision happened at the end of February and the earliest they could get me in was middle of May. Then they called me on the day I was supposed to come in and told me that it wouldn't be until the beginning of June. I'm usually a patient person, but I've been waiting a long time for this fix. I've had to borrow my wife's car, leaving her without reliable transportation for over 3 months. It is unacceptable. I need my car-- I don't work locally and am on call 24/7. When I told them this, there was no sense of empathy or apologies, just lame ass excuses and a reschedule date. read more

Although this was my first time having my car in an accident and needing repair, Marshall Auto Body helped reduce the stress and exceeded my expectations of what this experience would have been like. Their customer service was great and every staff member I dealt with was very kind, friendly and helpful. First thing you hear coming out of anyone's mouth in this place is how "extremely busy" they are, they make you feel like you're wasting their time. My car got banged up a little bit by a storm so I had an insurance claim and came here to get an estimate and potentially repair it. The guys there said the doors need to be replaced and said they will order the parts and call me when they're ready. When I told them I just want an estimate for now because I'm not sure I want to fix it yet they all of a sudden became too busy for me. They drafted a crappy estimate for $2600 without replacing parts only fixing and sent it to my insurance. So I decided I wanted to do the repair. They finally called me after about 4 weeks to come in for the repair when I get there I find out they're going to bill my insurance $4,300 instead of $2600. Can you guess what their excuse was when I caught them in their insurance fraud stunt? Yep, "we're extremely busy". Very bad experience, this place is one of the only "Tesla Certified" body shops in the area so sort of had no choice. They're taking advantage of it. P.S. Sorry for wasting your time. read more

To paraphrase a current AT&T TV ad, Marshall's Autobody repair work on my Tesla Model 3 was, "just OK." It's close enough for government work. My Model 3 sustained damage to the left rear quarter panel and rear bumper when another vehicle backed into the car. The repairs to those areas took 6 business days. The rear door is not completely flush with the rear quarter panel. The fit between the quarter panel and the bumper and the quarter panel and the trunk lid is only OK. The seam is still slightly irregular and a sizable gap between the quarter panel and the trunk lid remains. read more

Very disappointed with a minor repair to my old sports car. A small patch of surface rust was revealed when the old windshield was removed for replacement. Neutralizing this small area and painting the area where the new windshield mounts totaled an area of approx 1 square foot - final cost - outrageous! Nearly $900! Let me just say that I am overwhelmed by the fantastic quality of the repair work that Marshall Auto Body completed! After the repair, the vehicle truly looks better than the day I picked it up new at the dealership. This is an auto body shop that obviously takes great care in doing the highest quality work attainable. Not only did they do a great job on the actual work, but it was the little things that truly separates this body shop from any other that I have worked with in the past. A few notable points: 1) They worked with the insurance company directly. This was a seamless process for me, with all required communication occurring between Marshall and the insurance company. 2) The attention to detail was unsurpassed by any other shop I have done business with. Marshall definitely has this down to a science and it shows in the quality of their work and in the customer service. 3) CUSTOMER SERVICE: Wow! I have dealt with many companies, both good and bad. But, I have never seen the level of customer service that I have seen at Marshall. They kept me informed throughout the entire process. Always with a smile. And always with the customer in mind. Many companies talk about the customer experience. Few deliver on the promise of great customer service. Marshall Auto Body's customer service rates with the best of best (think Amazon, Nordstrom, Trader Joe's. Add Marshall to that elite list!) 4) The Delivery: Of course I expected beautiful, highly finished body work. I was not disappointed. But, what I did not expect was for Marshall to fully detail the vehicle inside and out. And, when I say detail, I mean DETAIL. They went so far as to polish the plastic on the LCD dashboard displays. I had some unusual, annoying blemishes on the displays. When I picked up the vehicle, those annoying blemishes were eradicated. Gone! The car was immaculate inside and out. Unbelievably fantastic! Finally, I want to mention that with the service provided above, you may think that this was a very expensive repair. It was not. In fact, I would venture to say that most body shops would have shied away from this repair, since it was such a very small job. Just repairing small damage to the hood and a tiny dent on the left front fender. Small, inexpensive but very important to me to have this repaired properly. It seems it was important to Marshall as well. I have 50 reviews on Yelp. Out of those, I now have 26 5-star reviews. I will honestly tell my faithful Yelp readers that from my perspective, based on the work performed, the service received and the high satisfaction provided, Marshall Auto Body ranks #1 out of my 26 5 star reviews. I live 140 miles away from this body shop. I hope I never need to use their service again, but I will tell you that should I need ANY body work on any of my vehicles, without hesitation I will have Marshall Auto Body complete those repairs. Excellent!! I had a simple bumper repair, but more damage was found upon investigation. My completion date was supposed to be Tuesday PM & Chris was able to work it out that I could pick up the car on the Friday prior bc I was moving out of state. I appreciated the efforts! Brought my car in around July for hail damage, total damage came to over $11,000. Took about a month to get it back and my experience was horrible. My 2010 TL needed whole new roof and hood but everything else they had to send out to paint-less dent remover. Anyways, around August I get a call from Marshall's to go pickup my car. So, I rushed to Marshall's after work and the car is parked in the showroom for inspection. Under their light, the car looked flawless, until I approached the TL and noticed scratches, dull spots as if it was from them using some type of liquid or glue to pull out the dents, which screwed up the clear coat. I tell Vince why is there so many scratches on the car? He responds by saying it was already there. I noticed some more dull spots on the trunk and the only response he was giving me was it already there. He sees me frustrated, so he goes to the back of the room and takes out a piece of cloth and polishes it. Dull spot is still there. At this point, I just wanted to get the hell out of there, so I signed the papers and paid my fees. I get home later to find out my floor and seats were covered in black soot. I was able to wipe off the seats but the floor still remained. Door panels, trunk, front and rear wheel welds have scratches in sunlight from PDR. They broke many of my plastic latches from taking off my plastics around the door and radio. The shop switched many of my OEM Acura parts for cheap or old parts. My hood latch that holds up the hood was replaced with an old one, the shocks on the latch are completely shot. In conclusion, I do not recommend this place at all!!! I wanted to get my car done professionally so I called Acura dealership which whom they recommended Marshall Auto Body. Stay away!! Please be warned they will swap out your OEM parts and replace them with OLD PARTS!! My car looks worst than before. BEFORE YOU SIGNED OFF, PLEASE PULL YOUR CAR OUT INTO THE SUN. read more
