I have been a tenant in a property 'managed' by M&P Hammersmith since the 21st of August 2023. Since moving in, they have been short from being unhelpful and flippant. There are several issues with the property that have either been conditional to our offer, flagged on the inventory report or raised multiple times to our property manager. The lack of effective communication, sense of urgency and sense of their contractual responsibility has led us to waiting with broken appliances, mould, electrical hazard, to name a few. To this date, these issues have either not been addressed at all or have been addressed with substantial delay - contractors have come multiple times to the property to assess the issues and not resolving them or keep finding further issues that have not been picked up before. Window handles have been broken since the beginning of the tenancy and, despite my rent includes heating, it was not turned on until November 3rd due to technical issues that were not resolved, which has caused serious health issues (not to mention safety issues as burglars could break into the house). This has also caused significant amount of mould developing in the bathroom and bedroom. Whilst a damp survey was booked for a month after the issue was reported (November 29th), not action was taken to remove the mould, which also resulted in respiratory and skin issues, and mould appearing in sheets and clothes. Thus far 3 windows have been repaired, and last one was not repaired until November 24th. The dishwasher is also not properly working since the beginning of my tenancy, which does not allow me to use the kitchen facilities at full capacity. This has been reported a couple of months ago, however recently it was causing the fuse to go down, causing electrical issues in the property. After weeks of chasing, a new dishwasher was delivered (October 27th), but it was then flagged by the contractor there were carpeting and rewiring problems that needed to be sorted prior to installing the new dishwasher - that consequently was left in the middle of my living room until November 24th.. Another contractor came on November 16th and could not sort out the issue. I still don't have an ETA on when this will be resolved, and been living in a property that is risking my safety. The bed curtains were to be replaced as part of my tenancy offer as soon as moving in (August 21st) and remains unresolved - which is a breach of my contract. Whilst they are contractually responsible for managing the property, nothing gets resolved in a timely manner. There is no value added in having M&P managing my flat, as they have been incapable to the point of negligence and disregard for the dangerous situation they are putting us in. read more

Cant be trusted with keys. Bathroom left in disgusting state with shower broken. Plumber and specialist cleaning required to return bathroom to previous good clean state. Marsh & Parsons only key holder. Formal complaint resulted in not even an apology. On other occassions did not lock up properly & left lights on. Dreadful agent. Avoid. read more

Avoid at all costs! Absolutely useless to tenants, landlords and to the company itself - as their agent are so rude and unprofessional that every independent platform has only worst reviews for them. On their own website they use Feefo though - and somehow there reviews are very good. But it is curious that when I tried to submit a review on Feefo - turns out that there is no such option. Their company should be shut down. They engage in harassing tenants, lying to the tenants and only care about their own profit. They don't care about the landlords either. I am very sorry I once rented a property from them - me and my friends and family will never make that mistake again. read more

As an American who has moved to London, I am sadly disappointed with this branch of Marsh and Parsons who got me into my flat. While they were very eager and aggressive on getting me into the flat, thier property managment division has been dismal - with them igonoring my requests, not representing my rights, and providing shoddy services at best. As an example, I was rented a unit that said it had a washer and dryer. I was sent a home inventory that had a washer and dryer. However, upon taking the unit, I learned that it had a washer only. I don't have access to my landlord as Marsh and Parsons are managing the relationship, and unless I call and call and call they don't get back to me, and unless I badger them, I am unsupported. I strongly reccomend that you not use this agency because they don't seem to be concerned with representing their clients well. I would love to come back and update this yelp, and I will in the event that the service gets better, but I'm not counting on it, given the way the last 6 months have gone. If this agency has a specialty, it is a combo of letting properties that are falling apart/sourcing from shitbag landlords/acting like slimy used car salesmen with a fine tuned gift for screwing over Americans moving to London in as many positions possible. If you are an American moving over for work and had Marsh & Parsons recommended to you, run far, far away! Like the previous poster, this particular office of degenerate, asshats set me up with a flat that was not in working order unbeknownst to me. And because of the law of attraction (with like attracting like), my landlord turned out to be a shit for brains, bastard motherfucker who can't finish a repair and causing me to live in a goddamned construction zone with no relief. M&P has developed amnesia and has forgotten that they represented a faulty piece of shit property as a livable home and presented it to me on a platter like a fucking poisoned apple. I swear to GOD this flat would've been more sturdy if it was held together with spit/cum rags and ball sweat. Their knack for showing piece of shit properties, especially to Americans is something of legend. All other coworkers who had the misfortune of working with these packs of 'tards feel the same way and we are having HR to remove these worthless taints from the recommended list for relocation offices. The offensive, Bethanny Frankel-looking agent was Tatiana Nieves, who conveniently only showed us two properties. One we liked but that wasn't a viable option and wasted our precious time (she off-handedly remarked that the landlord didn't like Americans and/or couples AND if so, since we are both American and a couple, that we'd need to pay rent a year in advance - I think NOT!). And Tatiana showed us the craptastic one we selected. As newbies, we had to leave our shortlet, had no idea how this all worked and we took it out of pressure - which Tatiana leveraged against us. BTW, if you are shown a 1 bdrm flat where the bedroom was converted into a "recording studio", stomp your heel, turn 180 degrees and ruuunnnnn far, far away. This was our flat from hell. Only move into it if you like landlords that will do illegal craziness....that will not repair anything, come into your flat without notice and go through your things. Ruuuunnnnn. This jackass letting agency likes to represent this asshole, so they will try to show you that property if it meets your basic criteria...Oh, and that room isn't sound proof at all. Would love to give minus stars. Horrendous to the highest order. Please never, ever use this disgusting company to rent from. They do not care about you and will continue not to care until you move out with frustration. Lies, lies and more lies. Promised to paint the flat before we moved in, not only was it not painted, but it was filthy dirty. They used dirty tactics to get us not the flat, made us up the rent and sign a 2 year contract. Left me with no hot water or heating for weeks on end at one stage too. Don't want anyone to go through what I do, so please avoid like the plague. read more

I wish I could rate it with no stars at all. I've been living for a year and a half in a house with dump, humidity and mould problems, since the first day. I had to use a dehumidifier 24/7 for the whole lenght of the tenancy, I had to throw clothes to the bin due to the mould, the clothes in my wardrobe stinks and the lack of attention from Marsh and Parsons management was painful. I would never recommend it and I'll make sure that my friends and family don't make the same error I made. And I didn't have problems just during the tenancy, after leaving the flat they don't want to give us back the deposit saying that the current tenant told them the flat has not been profesionally cleaned, when we sent them the bill and I checked it by myself. Terrible service. Shockingly unprofessional and rude. I had 3 viewings booked for Marsh and Parsons by Clapham South on 27.02.16 at 2:30. When i arrived the agent was stuffing his face with a sandwich at the front desk and continued to eat whilst talking to me while leaning back in his chair like he's on holiday. He tells me I'm half an hour late but he had no sent the confirmation email with the time and i recall it being 2:30 after pour conversation over then phone. I had emailed his colleague to confirm the time anyway but had no response. He then comes up with the story that he tried to call me but has no proof of it. He didn't give a damn if i pitched as all he wants is for people to sign for properties so he can get his commission with zero effort. He then tells me he only has 1 property for me to view and not 3. Of which when we get there it has no ceiling lights!! The place is lit by lamp shades. He's response when i notice this " whats the big deal - light is light." Obviously he must be a bit of a cave-man. Later in the week he calls back on a follow up and when i politely tell him I'm not interested due to the lack of professionalism he starts being rude over the phone. I would not recommend Marsh and parsons even if you were trying to find a kennel for your dog. read more

Avoid. Avoid Avoid. I was a tenant in a flat which was being sold by them. The manner they treated me was disgusting. Without my permission they removed property belonging to me which they had no right to. I was told they were selling the flat so I removed my personal possessions but left behind an expensive TV - with their full knowledge that I could return to pick it up the next day. When I returned the next day the TV costing me £2000 was missing. When I asked them about this (the 100% knew the TV was there) they simply ignored me - they were not interested and condescending about it.
