Just had the BEST experience with this company. If I could give them more stars I would! I don't get on Yelp often but I felt like I needed to share this. I woke up this morning to water all over my garage leaking from the hot water heater. I called multiple companies in my area, but was told I'd have to wait days (with a flooded garage and no hot water) or that it would be hundreds of dollars to just come look at it. A neighbor saw me struggling to mop water up in the garage and referred me to Mars and thank goodness he did!! They sent John and Justin out within a few hours and they found the problem and even helped me clean up the mess from the leak. I ended up needing a new hot water heater and when I asked for more information about the price estimate, I was able to talk to the manager Aaron who patiently walked me through everything so I understood exactly what I was paying for. Best part- no one pressured me into upgrades that would cost a fortune!! They replaced the heater and left my garage nice and tidy and I was able to cook dinner and bathe my kids. Overall everyone I dealt with at this company was polite, compassionate, accommodating and efficient. Customer service is OUTSTANDING. I will forever use Mars Services from now on. read more

Our first kiddo came home from the hospital and spending the first night at home. It seems our small dog became so stressed he ate a turd from the back yard and vomited it back up under the master bed when we were trying to nurse. It smelled really bad and certainly it was an "oh no" moment. That following morning Carlos was dispatched our way. He did a great job! He was curious, helpful and professional. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! Mars is an absolute nightmare of a company full of scammers. Use literally anybody else. They claimed to have cleared out my A/C lines back in May. In July, my ceiling nearly fell in from a leak caused by A/C conduit lines being clogged and pushing down into my plumbing. My plumber discovered my plumbing was caked up from the A/C line connection with my 3rd floor master bathroom, and immediately told me that my A/C guy needs to be clearing the lines and doing regular maintenance. When I told him it had been supposedly cleared out just 6 weeks earlier, he said, "Do you see these pipes? I don't know what he did, but when I do it it doesn't look like this." It is beyond obvious Mars didn't complete the service paid for. When confronted with the photos and statements, Mars immediately forwarded me to their legal counsel and refused to do anything about it, and then threatened to sue me for writing a review about it. Fairly impressed with Mars overall. When getting bids for the work, they were the slowest to respond...took until the next day. However, once they did, they were able to schedule time to come out the same day for the repair. Aside from the ability to get the item addressed the same day, I also liked that their diagnostic charge was the lowest. As I thought, the issue was just replacing a fried GFCI outlet. I was a bit shocked at the $225 price tag, but at that point, the thing was already apart, and I needed it fixed, so I had him do it. In the end, I would've liked for it to be less expensive, but he did a good job, and everything works well. read more

DO NOT USE!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE & unfortunately this is the SECOND time I've been burned under different management. After a horrific Mars construction project experience that extended over a 3 yr period to find resolution, I renewed my annual pest control contracts through Mars on 30 Jan 2024 solely with the stipulation that a singular named technician be the technician that exclusively serviced my homes. Being annual contracts, I paid both contracts upfront with service appointments to be executed on a quarterly basis (8 treatments total, 4 appointments per home). When contacted by a Mars representative on 30 September 2024 to schedule the third of four appointments, I was notified that "my" technician was no longer with the company. Due to the severity of the previous issues & the fact that my contract specifically stipulated that the named technician would be the only technician to service my homes, I notified Mars during the call as well as formally in writing that I no longer wished to continue business with them per the cancellation terms of the contract. I requested a prorated refund as there are still two service appointments at each property that have not been & that I do not want them to fulfill. A Mars account receivable specialist replied to my email that Mars would not cancel my contract and refused to issue my refund! She further referred me to her boss, Daniel Kohn (General Manager) as the party who made the decision & provided his email address. When I requested his phone number to discuss the matter further, she refused to provide that contact information. I followed up with a phone call to the main office at which time a representative relayed that Mr. Kohn was not in the office. She also refused to provide his number but took my contact information to leave him a message. As of today, 14 October, I have not received a reply email, phone call, message, nor refund from Mr. Kohn nor Mars. read more

I have nothing but great things to say about this company. I found this business through my favorite app... YELP of course. They have quite a few 5 star reviews. My kitchen sink was completely stopped up due to a clogged pipe. Water would not flow through and we required a hydro-spray pressure wash of our pipes (which is not covered by my home warranty). Putting the job off was just not an option because we use our kitchen sink and dishwasher every day. I requested the service through the yelp app and was contacted by the company within an hour. They were able to send someone out to do the repair the next day for a reasonable price. The plumber was very polite and professional. I had a pleasant conversation with the staff to schedule my appointment. I ended up not actually using their services as my husband was able to fix it, but I've still enjoyed my experience in the scheduling process (super easy and fast, they were able to get me a next day opening as I've called them in the middle of the night with my problems!) and initial conversations with the electricians' department. So back in May my AC went out and my house was heating up instead of cooling down. I looked around and decided to give Mars a chance. They do electrical, plumbing and AC so i decide to give them a call. I called but turns out i called when they were closed, called the next day in the morning and they were open but busy and had to leave a voicemail. Later that day i got a callback from Mars but i missed the call and had to call back. Luckily i called that same day and the girl who answered was able to schedule a tech out to my house the next day. I was glad to hear they could have somebody out now before the hotter days of July come around. I hated that the ac broke down but at least it was in May and not July. She asked a couple of basic questions regarding the status of my AC. I asked if she knew how much it would be but said the technician would let me know how much they would charge based on what they saw once they come out to my location. Next day comes around and I was schedule for a 4pm time slot. My tech called me around 3:25pm letting me know he was en route to me. Tech arrived around 4:10pm and asked to see the thermostat, he crawled inside the house to get to the unit to make sure all was ok. Then he went outside to look at the unit outside, he hooked up his tools and determined we were just out of Freon. Thank goodness it was not something worst, from his walk through he saw nothing else wrong with the unit and then went out to his truck and realize he did not have enough Freon. He then said he had to go out and make a run to get some more, ok so he left and came back around 4:50pm. Our AC unit was in the back yard so we put away our dogs but one of them got loose. Our dogs are always friend to strangers and the dog that got loose was not a threat to the tech so our dog just walked up and started begging for attention from the tech. The tech (his name was Jonathan) was a not bother by it. He petted our dog and was just so loving to Junebug, our family dog. After putting in almost 5 lbs of Freon and waiting for the house to cool down, Jonathan had been out here for almost two hours and a total of 30 min of those was him going out to get more Freon. Overall my experience with Mars has been positive. Jonathan ,our tech, arrived at the time window promise to me by the company, he was respectful of our property, he was professional and knowledgeable of the equipment. Its been almost 2 months and our AC is still going strong *knock on wood* and I am glad our AC is ready for the summer months coming up in here in Texas. read more

First off. If you are renting and going through a property management company and they are using MARS Services, be prepared for hell. The guys who did the work completely ruined the main bathroom. We had a massive shower leak and had to have the shower completely rebuilt. The shower looks AWFUL and is some of the worst quality of work I've ever seen. When the workers said they were done, I was appalled at how incomplete the job was and how terrible the craftsmanship was. They just said someone would come back and finish. It's 16 days later after they did the job and the project manager Chris, is completely deflecting any responsibility as soon as we try to hold him accountable and is now telling us to go entirely through the PM company. It went relatively smooth with him and we generally had no issue communicating as my PM company has been relatively uninvolved and allowed the issues to filter through me as I was directly involved and impacted. But once their was an issue, he run's and hides and throw his hands up. They won't help you right away. You go to the back of the line before they fix their mess ups. They won't squeeze you in or push a tech off a new job to come and fix their mistakes. We've waiting weeks now and haven't had our main bathroom for over a month.(between the demo prior and everything) In my opinion, they care more about their tech's turning new jobs before making time to fit you in and finish a job. The pictures speak for themselves. 1st photo was before and the 2nd is now. The shower tile wall was built covering the toilet paper holder screw. They measured it terribly. INSANELY terrible craftsmanship. There is now a massive gap between the shower pan and the tile floor that wasn't there before. The hole where the Temperature handle was, was left open and the screw hole was still covered by shower tile so you cant even put it back on. The shower pan is trash quality(took forever to get a pan and the pan isn't even the right measurement. This work has literally ruined the appeal of the bathroom. I guess I'm lucky I'm just renting and it's not my house. But it's important people are aware of their lack of accountability. Still not done with the job. I hope no one's jobs go south! read more

Liars! Came in for a quick paint job over my stairs and the guys taped drop cloth to my epoxy floors. When peeled up the tape took the seal off my floors. After weeks of telling me they would fix it because they would never leave it that way. The PM Robert called to let me know they didn't think it was really their fault and Mars wasn't taking responsibility for it. We filed a civil case against them (which we have NEVER done before) after weeks of trying to talk to the supervisor with no response. Today we find out as of May 1 they sold the company so Mr. Joshua Terry - previous owner has vanished and Mars is screwing people out of their money. SNAKES!!! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! We hired them to install a Generac generator in early 2022. After a bunch of missteps, they finally got it installed, but the generator has not worked since installation. Mars has sent a number of different people here to try to fix it, but it still does not work. This is complicated by the fact that Mars has experienced SIGNIFICANT turnover since early 2022 and every time I someone is sent out here, that person is no longer around after a few months. They are now refusing to send an electrician to fix an electrical issue with the generator, claiming it is no longer under warranty. HUH? It hasn't worked properly since being installed. It would have had to work properly for the warranty to even kick in. Just stay far away from them! Any company that has that much turnover has major issues with management, which doesn't speak well for how the business is run. read more

If I could give a zero ratings I would. Please find another company. I have had an insurance claim and I decided to use Mars Services. I am still waiting almost a year to complete the work on my house. Allstate reported that they were hard to reach, left voicemails, and emails with no response. I have worked with several representatives from Mars Services and they were all fired or quit for whatever reason. Called Mars Services out to snake a drainage line. We found out it was a bigger problem, broken cast iron pipe. I paid $125 before he left for the snaking services. They came out the next week to run a camera down to see the issue. Ran the camera from two spots and said we'd need to fully redo all of the drainage plumbing for our house. Said all of it everywhere is bad. Nothing too specific. Never asked for payment that day, said he'd give me a report with pictures and a video, since I was not home and so we could send it to insurance. Never got the report. I asked once to follow up, still nothing. Still never asked for payment. Finally I moved on to another plumber. We were planning on getting a second opinion anyways. About 6-7 weeks later I start getting calls from Debby with Mars Services that we owe them $325. I asked them what that was for. She'd call the next time that this was for running the camera. I said that was forever ago and we went with another plumber because y'all never followed up. She said she'd check into it. She called back, this time with a price reduction. $285 now for the camera the ran. I said again, y'all never followed up with me, we went with another plumber and the project is done. I don't know why I have to pay this. She said its for the camera they ran. $285 was the agreed price before they came to run the camera. They said they'd waive that if we chose them for the project. They never followed up with a report and/or offer to do the project. They just came to me more than a month later for payment - initially for more than the originally agreed price. Have your stuff together before you repeatedly come to me for payment. To me, you didn't do anything. I wasn't home, you said you'd send a report of your findings and you never did, and you never sent an offer for the actual project. I ended up paying them the $285 because I don't know if they were about to send it to collections or what. The lady Debby called me like 4-5, never remembering the last time we spoke and seemingly more confused about my story. They must have no way of tracking conversations because she couldn't remember talking to me multiple times, and they never followed up on the plumbing project. read more

I hired Mars to replace two bathroom faucets. The service person shows up at the house. Looks at the faucet and says $200 to replace both if you provide the faucets. I said sure, lets do it. He goes out talks to the 'office' comes back and tell me it will be $800 to replace the faucets. I said that is bit much. He says if you don't want to go head you have pay the $79 diagnostic fee. Since then the office has been chasing me for paying the 'diagnostic fee'. They are threatening a lien on the property. Do yourself a favor. Avoid this fraud of a company like it is the Delta virus. They will show up to charge you for 'diagnostic' fees with no intention to do the work. read more

These guys are simply the best in the business. I had horrible pet urine stains on my carpet and there is not a single trace of them now. Had them come to clean out carpets for their deal of 3 rooms for $150. Well it was terrible, doesn't even look like my carpets are even cleaner at all. We had no major stains at all just wanted to freshen up with a good clean. The guy did all 4 rooms in 40 minutes which was already concerning. When they left there are areas with marks of dark gray/black in certain areas. Smell was great but cleaning not so much. Also I would happily pay more for transparency like if it's not as good of a clean for that price. Or can't help high traffic areas, I would pay not for additional things if it's communicated to me. I was really hoping they would do a great job so I could use them again but I'm really disappointed. read more

Joseph came out to check out a rodent issue we have been having. He was great! He was able to show us where the issue was originating and what we needed to do to resolve it that day. In fact, his estimate was so reasonable we got on the phone right away and cancelled our service with Terminix and signed up with Mars! The Challenger package includes so much for so much less on a quarterly basis! Joseph explained everything, left us with rodent boxes that are safe for my family and pets and promised to come back out in a week or two to check on things. He also didn't give us an exorbitant quote that scared us away. He was honest, transparent and left us feeling relieved and that would could get our pest and rodent issues under control affordably and quickly. Highly recommend Mars Services! After purchasing my house I noticed that my kitchen faucet did not have enough pressure. So on January 27th I called Mars services, who came promptly and told me that my faucet was a energy saving faucet, so unless I replaced the whole system that was going to be it. So I paid $245 for the information that it took them 10 minutes to give me. Fast forward to November 2022, I received an harassing collect call from Mars asking me to pay the same invoice I paid prior. They even attached an 18% late fee. When I asked the rude and harassing rep, why would they not collect the fee in January before leaving, and why it took them 10 months to realize that? I also informed him that I remember paying, and that since they are the business they should have records of my payment, and I should not have to go through my statements to resolve the matter. The only thing that the rep was doing was to push me to make a payment regardless of my demands. So I found the payment on one of my statements and emailed it to them. Be careful of this company. They are fraudulently calling people to double dip on already paid invoices. They are overpriced, rude and fraudulent. Avoid them at all costs. read more

He had a huge job by himself replacing all of our switches and plugs, changing 17 fixtures to be recessed LEDs, and swapping our old ceiling fans for new light fixtures all over the house. He was professional, courteous and made my wife feel at ease while he did his initial inspection. He gave us a great quote and followed up with the information I needed to submit a claim to my insurance company. The tech's he had come out were just as amazing!
