When we walked in, we noticed the decor they had was the same we had at our wedding (cute white trees) so we were extra excited to try this place... however while we were waiting to order, there was a another customer in front of us asking about the açaí bowl, and the girl behind the counter answered in a not very happy tone, and she walked out so we thought she was coming back or that her order was being made. However, my husband and I were on the side where the gelato is waiting to be acknowledged. Okay cool, it's our first time there and we were just waiting by the gelato to sorry I went counter and the girl was just at the register saying nothing... yes, we missed the order here sign but she didn't even bother to greet us or say anything for about 5 minutes, until she goes I can help you here. Cool, I go up to her, apologize, and her attitude was insane... idk what it was, I ordered my gelato and my husband ordered his, she then mumbled something, and my husband didn't understand her and she made a face... I almost said you know what never mind and we should've left but it was a super hot day, my husband loves gelato and it looked good. We ended up throwing it away bc it wasn't even worth it because of how upset the customer service was. So to the girl that works here, if you hate this place so much quit and if you own this place or are related to someone who does, please do them a favor by never working here because this place is cute and we would've enjoyed it if it wasn't for your miserable customer service. I know this review isn't going to do anything but I hope people don't let themselves be treated the way we were because it sucks.

My wife and I ordered a vanilla latte and Maatcha latte and two chocolate croissants. The chocolate croissants were delicious with rich chocolate filling although I would have enjoyed even more chocolate filling. Drinks were both solid and a decently sized for large drinks. I really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere - it really felt like time slowed and I was in a time transport capsule to my summer vacation to Europe. Would definitely come back when in the area.

The white was cooked but creamy and even a little crisp edge like I like. The egg yolk was runny like a velvety sauce but not gooey. I appreciated that it was not drenched in hollandaise sauce, but just enough to add flavor and creaminess. The ham was light and thinly sliced to add a nice flavor. The added perfection was the fresh green crispy tart romaine salad to cut the creaminess of the sandwich and add a crunch. Our drinks were likewise delicious. The Mexican Mocha with Abuelita chocolate was the best I've had in a while--chocolatey but not in an oversweet way. The creamy iced caramel latte also was delicious without being too sweet. Finally the fruit tart had a buttery crumbly crust and fresh natural tasting (not overly sweetened) fruit was yummy. The decor is so fun. I love all the antique touches, blue metal based carved tables, cafe chairs, funky light fixtures, wooden counters and coffee station, etc. The corner location huge glass windows and doors light up the place. The staff: friendly and constantly serving, cleaning, refilling. LIVE LOVE LOVE IT ALL!!

Simply delicious coffee!…read more It's always a relief when you find a hidden gem. This establishment was so cute they even had cows hanging upside down! Such a fun and unique atmosphere. They also sell gelato, although we didn't get a chance to try it this time. The service was great, and the cashier was very helpful and friendly. I ordered an iced vanilla latte, and it was perfect. They also offer a great selection of coffee from Hawaii. The place was clean, welcoming, and had a very friendly vibe. Next time, I'll definitely have to indulge in some desserts! ts.

The decor and setting is cute and quirky, including cow sculptures hanging upside down from the ceiling. There were only a couple other visitors when we arrived, as it was near opening time. Our dishes took a whopping 35 minutes to be ready, and service was not very friendly nor helpful. Luckily, the music playing through the speakers added a nice vibe to the place, songs like Our House by Madness and Can't Fight This Feeling. We ordered the brunch pizza (with eggs cooked overeasy) and the breakfast flatbread which looked almost identical when served, as well as an iced mocha. The quality of the pizza was pretty average, and the eggs were slightly overcooked. The drink was really good, made fresh, with a smooth taste and a nice sweetness to it, the plastic cup coated in chocolate sauce. It tasted more like chocolate milk with a hint of coffee, which I personally enjoyed. They typically serve gelato here, but it would not be ready till almost two hours after opening time. So no milkshakes or cold desserts were available in the morning this past Sunday (no worries, Ghirardelli is just a block away). I appreciate the variety of menu items offered here. But they really should communicate online that their gelato's not ready till two hours into the day. If there's one thing that irks me about an establishment, it's failure to communicate appropriately. Even though our recent visit was somewhat disappointing, I still gave 3 stars, assuming this was an off day for them.
