We were having about 75 people. I read the reviews and every review about the food being good was true! We had a mix of Caribbean family and friends and I was concerned but they all raved about the food. My father in law asked who made the chicken which is the ultimate compliment. Several others asked about the food and all of them took food to go. We ordered the Island Flair meal, which came with jerk chicken, sweet plantains, garden salad w/dressing, and rice and peas. A la carte we got herb roasted chicken, green beans, and an extra pan of sweet plantains and meatballs. The price was reasonable and the food came on time. The service was stellar and they are highly recommended!

Dave was great and promptly sent me over all of my options after our initial phone call. We picked out what we wanted for our buffet for about 50 people, rented tables and chairs, as well as linens. I met Michael over at our venue who was equally as great to work with, he was very friendly and gave me his opinions on what he think would look best where and how we should setup. The day of the party came and the caterer arrived right on time and immediately got to work. They cooked everything in house and the food was amazing. From the hors-d'œuvre's to the buffet to the desserts. The bartenders and wait staff was amazing and accommodating. We got a ton of great reviews on the food throughout the night and well into the following week! We can't wait to use Tastebuds again for our next event!

We ordered drinks such as the Jingle Juice and food including the chicken schnitzel sliders ,Greek salad and meatball smaller, gnocchi with vodka sauce and pesto pasta. Really great option that they had gluten-free pasta . Be aware on the menu it states to please give them an extra 15 minutes for cooking. Really loved the atmosphere and food was very good! Now, as far as service, I was a little upset once we received the bill. We kindly asked our server why there was a holiday service fee of $69.? She said that was part of the meal and we asked her to clarify, but she said she needed to call the manager. Denise, the manager who was there that night came over and at first when we asked again if this service charge was part of the servers tip, Denise answered that you can add on top of it, but she wasn't answering our question whether or not that $69 would be given to the server or not . ( this also was not mentioned to us when we booked the reservation ) Then all of a sudden our server came around again and told us no that the $69 would not be given to her, and then Denise looked at her and said yes, it will be. Didn't really understand this type of back-and-forth about the bill and whether or not the tip was already included . All they had to do was start off by saying yes the $69 is already part of the server tip and if we would like to, we can add additional if there was great service. Wish the staff would have been clear from the start instead of all the back-and-forth especially with a party of 7 where we already spent over $400 Hoping if we go back, that situation was just a one time issue

Man oh man! Grab a drink before you start reading!…read more Wedding scheduled for May 2020 and several months prior, we met up with Chef Michael for a tasting and we were FLOORED by the food he made for us. Not just the quality, but the quantity! Literally just kept bringing stuff out and everything tasted so amazing! Then we broke it to him...we LOVED the food but we wanted a quirky little spin. Non-traditional wedding food...stations even. Just something besides the steak, fish, or chicken and then his eyes lit up! He seemed so jazzed! So we gave him what we were thinking and he had freedom to do it. Annnnnddddd queue Covid! We still ended up getting hitched on May 2020...in our driveway but we didn't pull any deposits from our vendors because we knew, like everyone else, they were struggling. So we replanned for May 2021. The missus ran the show so I can't say I know what was discussed. What I can say is that we've not stopped getting compliments on the food since the ceremony a week ago! Everyone thought it was the best tasting, best looking, and most fun time eating at a wedding in ages! Chef Michael and his team, through a world changing pandemic, never lost that vision for our big day. They are the pinnacle of what event caterers should be and I've been to a few catered events and I've never seen anything so well oiled, tasty, or presented so well! Hats off to Chef Michael and the team at Fine Food Events! PS: I'm a slacker and have NO pics of the food and such but if the photographer grabbed some, I'll add them!
