    Listen, Chef Jimmy Dean Barría Tacos are simply the best. I've had them twice at the Hump Day Food Truck events at Volunteer Park and they taste more amazing every time.

    Delicious! Visited chef jimmy Dean at the casino casino food truck event. Line was decently long so we knew it had to be good. We ordered and the food camp quickly. We got the steak and fries with added shrimp. We also got the lobster quesadilla. The steak was delicious and the horseradish sauce it came with was out of this world. Fries were yummy too and shrimp was grilled perfectly. The lobster quesadilla was huge! My mom and I shared and it was more then enough. THE FRESH LOBSTER THOUGH.. wow. So impressed. The flavors with the onion was on point. We also got A side of potato salad which the chef said he made personally. Really really good too! Highly recommend and we hope to see this truck out and about again!

    Jimmy, Mike, and Marcos are awesome! Excellent BBQ! We (our big group) go to their BBQ truck every Sunday at Smoke on The Water Cigar Bar in Weston. We have been ordering from their truck for over 3 months now. They have become our friends. Super easy ordering. We text them our order, they confirm quickly, and food is prepared as requested. They text us when the food is ready and we walk over to pick it up. The guys are always happy to see us. Our order is always correct, and the food is excellent! Pro-Tip: BBQ Ribs, Brisket, and BBQ beans are amazing! JIMMY...make the Boston clam chowdah....every Sunday. Please! :p We look forward to supporting your business every weekend.     We were gifted Chef Jimmy Dean as an end of the year present and WHAT. A. GIFT! When I tell you it's the best brisket I've ever had, it's no exaggeration. And in a taco, forget about it. The Mac and cheese was highly recommended by one of my students, so at the last minute I switched from coleslaw to Mac and it was incredible. The portions were HUGE. The staff was so friendly, and had our meals ready in minutes, and it was absolutely delicious! I'd give them 10 stars if I could. The best food I've had in a long time. Thanks Chef Jimmy Dean

    I first tried the Chef Jimmy Dean food truck at a Rock the Park evening in Plantation. I knew it had to be good because there was a long line waiting for their food. I actually waited in line for about 25 minutes, which gave me ample time to look over the menu. Then I waited in line about another 15 minutes for my food to be prepared. They really only had about 8 items; a few bbq plates and a few sandwiches. They also had a variety of side items. I decided on the grilled chicken Haystack sandwich which also had some crispy onions and beer cheese toppings on it. It was a heaping portion and really good. For my side I had the baked beans; which had a kick to them but I wasn't really impressed with them overall. My mom had the bbq pulled pork sandwich with a side of coleslaw. She thought the sandwich was really big and delicious however the coleslaw was kind of bland and she needed to add all of the salt and pepper that was included with the plasticware. The sandwiches were a little pricey, $15 each, but at least they were big portions! I would definitely recommend the Chef Jimmy Dean food truck....and make sure you're hungry!

    I attended an event last night where Chef Jimmy was cooking an asian inspired menu. It was so amazing - he even hand rolled sushi for us! He was fast and kept the food coming for a group of 20 hungry chicks. His ramen bowls were so great, my son and I just ate the leftovers for breakfast! And i haven't mentioned the dessert yet-- it sooooo good i was dreaming about it last night! I highly recommend him and his food -- he is really great all around (plus he is cute too with his Boston accent)! You will not be disappointed!

    AMAZING SMOKED BBQ!!! Had the ribs with potato salad & beans to-go and it was so delicious!!!! Jimmy Dean and the crew was so friendly. Find them at Oakland Park Blvd & 6th in FTL every Friday. Hands down - the best bbq!!!

    I attended a party that Jimmy prepared the food for. It was beyond amazing in every way. The food was delicious tasting and plated very nicely. He rolled sushi, cooked appetizers and served perfect ramen. I would hire Jimmy for my chef needs any day!

    If you're looking for a personal chef for an event - dinner party or even a children's party - Chef Jimmy is your guy. He was the hit of our party for the Asian theme. He made sushi, ramen , tuna and a killer to die for dessert. I had 10 people asking me for his information before the party was over. Promise you that you won't be disappointed !! He was on time, very professional and courteous.

Every dish was beyond delicious, interesting, packed with flavor. Every plate passed with joy, respect and an enthusiasm for the artistry of her chef, every cocktail perfectly blended and delivered with a smile. From the first conversation to the final goodbye hugs, every moment with Chef Elisa and her crew was 5 STAR! (6 if Yelp would allow). Longer story, my hubby decided to buck our nearly 20 year tradition of cooking everything ourselves at our parties, (he's Sicilian, after all, so there is no one else who can cook right! haha).. so for his impending 50th birthday, he chose to cater a chic at-home 4 hour "cocktail party with heavy hors d'oeuvres" for a diverse, well-traveled, international crew of 20 or so. I think every taste and variation on diet was represented, and everyone left the party stuffed, fluffed and full of love for Chef E and her Crew of 2. Food highlights... this is tough, because everything was stellar... but the menu reads: Mini kobe beef sliders and giant chilled copper trays of sushi.. Lauren then started passing trays of mini sausage/pepper and onion bites with ricotta, the best coconut shrimp with a lime coconut dipping sauce I've ever had (Ken wanted to drop this from the menu as "too pedestrian", but Chef prevailed and thank God! They were a huge hit!), ceviche in little cones with plantain chips, steak tartare, these amazing bite-size polenta pods dolloped with an olive tapenade to die for, potato pancakes with smoked salmon, creme fraiche and chives...and for dessert, she did these gorgeous dessert "shots"... individual key lime pie, cannoli or chocolate ganache treats perfectly sweet, tangy, creamy, crispy, and all candlelit for the birthday boy! Now that I'm salivating, I will bring myself back to reality with a few more mundane, but also important tidbits (things I would like to know when choosing a caterer)... She and her crew were absolutely balanced between professionalism and fun. They were working two floors up in our catering kitchen and did their complete set-up, service and clean up without a single incident or disappointment (no lost deposit for you fellow condo dwellers), they packed up leftovers and stocked the fridge for all those morning cravings that hit after a hearty party.. and maybe best for me, when I walked the dogs at 11 pm (and they were knocking down), I noticed the bumper sticker on her car.... "No Farmers, No Food", and it struck me that we had just experienced the artistry of a person that understands the farm to table movement and shares it through all she prepares. PS. Don't tell Ken's Sicilian family, but I think we have a new tradition.
