The biggest complaint is lack of respect for my family's time. Every day but one they were hours…read more(not minutes) hours late, pushing the timeline of the project due to drying times for next steps. The last day they had roughly two hours of work and left to allow for drying again, telling me they would come back next morning. I had to message them 40 min after they were supposed arrive to ask if they were still coming, they did not reach out preemptively. At that point my husband and I decided to just finish ourselves, as they said they could come at 11 or Monday. In addition, two of the 4 days they came they had to leave to go get materials (which they ask for 1/2 up front to purchase materials). Both times they were out from the project for 1.5-2 hours (one day they had to leave twice). The work was good, with the exception of one area that we had to repaint. But poor time management made this experience not good.

We had several quotes (few in the 6 digits). My husband and I just couldn't agree on which one to choose from. The quotes were either too high or did not on design, and sometimes both. I called STL Design and Build Design, setup an appointment as my last resort. STL Design sent Tom Levinson. Mr. Levinson arrived earlier than time with his assistant. This is definitely a rare. We went through the areas for remodeling. Tom sat me down and listen to all I wanted to do. Then it came down to the details and pricing. The wants an can't live without. We finished with an estimated quote that we were very happy with. Tom was wonderful. He gave me sound advice on my selections for the kitchen remodel. He went through the cost, time-line, and process. Tom went to warehouses with me for selections on the items. Matthew Pevehouse, thank goodness for him. I had a family emergency out-of-state. Matt took care of everything for us. The whole crew were wonderful. Matt took pictures and kept me up to date. If there was an issue it was quickly resolved. My husband and I are thrilled with the results. The look is absolutely fabulous, the craftsmanship and quality of products excellent, and done on time. Thank You STL for a wonderful experience. Bought some cabinets from Menards and boy was it hard to install. But Nicholas was a joy to work with. He didn't rush and scrimp on quality. He made sure to take his time and ensure the cuts and measurements were correct. And he is very honest as well. What was supposed to be a 2 day install, he was upfront, and immediately told us he needed more time. Which we are glad he told us. So we extended the project for another day.
