I called Eduardo and his team to help me haul away an assortment of heavy furniture as I moved out of my apartment. Eduardo happily volunteered to come by for a free estimate. I ultimately decided to try to sell/donate as much of it as I could. About a week later, I called him again to pick up what was left and they were once again quick to arrange a meeting time. About half and hour before this arranged time, I gave him a call just to confirm and it turned out they were too busy and needed to reschedule. A slight hiccup in the professionalism, but not a big deal or inconvenience to me. When I pulled up to my apartment later that night at the agreed upon new time, one of his men was already outside organizing the truck, ahead of schedule. I was absolutely amazed that a single individual could handle my clunky furniture! I was extra grateful that he helped me move a bookcase down the stairs, which was not part of the original deal. Eduardo showed up on time, on a Sunday, with just a couple of days notice - First he helped us move a piano and organ into a U -Haul ( the guy can lift) then he loaded our mounds of stuff (50 years worth ) into his truck. Originally, I found these guys to help my friend move few month ago. The price was much more cheaper then in any other company, even though it was just the day before moving. Everything was wonderful, without any issues, completely happy. Last week I was trying to reach them for 3 days for my moving. Finally they called me back (twice, 2 different managers) and made a booking for next week, 2 workers for 10 am. Both of managers were so nice, promised to send confirmation email, call back in the day before and in the moving day at 9.30 AM. No email, no confirmation the day before. Moving day 7.38 AM Unknown number calling. 7.39 AM Their manager called and said that our movers are on their way and will come in 20 minutes. To my completely disappointing he replied that unfortunately they have other customers later so they moved our booking 2 hours earlier (without any letting me now) 8.15 AM Movers came. 3 guys instead of 2 originally booked. Driver - Leo, was nice, speaks English good. Other two guys don't speak English at all, but they were nice too. For some reason they start packing from all small items (which we can move by ourselves if there is not enough time) and keep big mattresses and coach to the very end. Fortunately, 3 hours were enough for all out stuff and we didn't need to pay more for extra hours. Other surprise - they told us that wrapping is for additional price - $10/item (originally all wrappings were included in price). Then, after 3 hours of work, Leo said that 3 of them (instead of 2) worked, so we need to pay more, because rate for 3 workers is $169 hourly. He called manager and negotiated this rate to $119 hourly (price for 2 workers is $99). So, we supposed to pay $99 (2 workers) * 3 hours= $297, But paid $119 (negotiated 3 workers rate) *3 hours + $30 (for wrapping coach and 2 mattresses) = $387 which is $90 (!!!) more than original price was even without a tips, which these guys got as well too. And that's all after long trying to reach them, no any type of confirmation, coming 2 hours earlier... I'm very upset that I recommended them to my friends and they thank me with such a bad service. Beware!! Beware!! Beware!! Is it Eduardo Borges or Eduardo Ferriera. This guy is a complete fraud. Ok we hired Borges hauling after so many 5 star reviews to clean up our thrash when we moved out. First Eduardo charged me more than he quoted initially. I simply paid out of sympathy and partly due to fact that finally i was able to get rid of all that thrash. it was a big relief. But then he duped us into selling his house cleaning service. I fell for it and agreed to pay the amount quoted. Next day showed up 1 hr late and and then called me within 3 hrs ( estimated 5 hrs during the quote) while i was at work and said the house is cleaned. I was completely dumb founded when I checked the house after coming back from work. All this guy had done was sweep debris off the floors from his previous day hauling. That is all !! Oh my god! I still can't believe that. He wasted my entire precious day. I declined to pay but this guy wasn't ready to accept the fact that the house wasn't cleaned, so we had to finally call the cops to get him off our property. Even the officer was surprised to see what this guy claimed to have cleaned. Everyone, please do not fall for his sweet words. He doesn't do what he promises. I still don't understand how he has so many 5 stars. I am starting to feel something is fishy about all this yelp reviews for this business. next step I am going to file a complaint with BBB and report fraudulent business practices. read more

If I could give more stars, I would. I had another trash hauler quote me $650 ( A-1 Hauling ) which is a fair price since it was about a dumpster load and the dumpster would have cost $685 and I would have had to load it my self. Edwardo came two hours after I called him on a Sunday and quoted me $300 dollars. I hired him on the spot and continued to add to my junk pile. When he came the next day and said the pile grew since I came yesterday, I agreed and said I will give you $100 more. He high fived me and gladly took all the trash , cleaned up very well and left me a very satisfied customer. I would highly recommend him for his professionalism, promptness and he is just a good guy trying to make a living.
