The store was extremely busy when I arrived. They were having a sale with great prices. I was looking for bridal shoes and was very particular. I nice young man came to my aid and made many suggestions and even pulled a few pairs in my size on his own accord. After seeing my wedding dress he gave me very honest opinions about each pair. He spent well over 40min with me and never once was anything but friendly and smiling. Even another female staff member came over to chat and help me say yes to a beautiful pair of shoes. What also made me love this store even more was their dog. He came over a few times for a pet, but mostly stayed in his bed sleeping. I just wanted to put him in my bag and take him on home with me! Well behaved and an absolute sweetheart. For genuine leather shoes I found the price to be very fair. Just all around comfy walking shoes because I'm a regular runner and apparently the heel absorbed impact. I would say the shoes is enough of an up sale but it is light. There is no way shoes can absorb load that well, it's the foam structure and the hallow construct allows it. But true beliebers say it's a shock absorber, so keep on beliebing peeps. The selection is alright it's like any other outlet store. But it also shows you probably dont need to go to premium outlet mall for the deals, there are places with less line up and better parking.

I continuously tolerate the rude demeanor shown by the sales associates for the sake of purchasing quality shoes. But enough is enough and I feel inclined to write a review. The worst of the sales associates is, surprisingly, the manager. There have been several instances that really stood out: My friend and I entered the store and my friend was interested in a pair of shoes that were not in her size. She asked if her size was available online and the manager explained to my friend that, "if we do not have the shoes in stock, then it's not my problem." Instance two: when she made made me wait 10 minutes at the front counter while she finished something on the computer, and then abandoned that task to serve a male customer who walked into the store- completely disregarding my existence. And today, when I called into the store to ask if a certain pair of shoes were in stock in my size, and she hung up the phone on me. The manager at this location is extremely rude and condescending. I am disappointed in her lack of social and behavioral skills and refuse to shop there when she is working. I will never fathom how such a great shoe company employs such rude people.

They have a wall of high quality clearance footwear of at VERY GOOD prices. They had a variety of top quality sandals and purchased a pair which fit me correctly. He is a very avid runner and needed new shoes so we took him to Closeout Shoes believing that he would receive the same kind of quality service and customer care that we had come to expect. Unfortunately, he made a purchase that he came to regret when I urged him to wear the shoes around the house for a while. He was experiencing buyer's remorse. I assured him that any "reputable" shoe retailer would take back the shoes with a refund since they were not used outside the house. Apparently, I was wrong with regard to Closeout Shoes. You see they have signs in the store that say "ALL SALES FINAL" that neither of us noticed. When the purchase was made we were not given any VERBAL warning about their unusual store policy. In all my years of dealing with this retailer, I have never noticed these signs before. The owner refused to offer a refund of in spite my family's years of loyal patronage. My takeaway from this is that in her mind, enforcement of store policy is far more important than customer care. caveat emptor!

The mall has a lot of changes, pre pandemic the indoor ice rink in the mall open with promotion free ice skating- and if you were a spectator you can ooo and ahhh at the pet store with the puppies in the window. Just fyi that pet store is gone now. I've dont some uber ests pick up coincidentally in the mall, there hadn't been a food place I quite enjoyed for quality or hidden gem and the markings on the floor for social distancing are Soooooo confusing. The mall has a few entrances, you can enter from the main entrance where the Osmows and east side Mario is. My favourite less crowded entrance is the back where the new bowling alley is, the entrance has enough parking you can turn in from Conestoga Blvd and you're there -plus the Zehrs is there the Starbucks inside (yay). There is some good outlet shopping here, theres a Marshall's and theres some others. I swear I bought the cutest cocktail champagne dress that was retail $200 for $20, so there are deals here. Now that the pandemic restrictions have been lifted there are return options where stores were pretty much forcing final sale. So if you're in the area or just need an indoor walking gym, this is the place. It feels empty but I feel my shopping is efficient, no lines up :)
