After 26 years in the restaurant business and eating for 64 years now I value my opinion, maybe you will too! Breakfast is the best!! Brown eggs(local) real bacon on grill (no micro wave crap) and home fries that are grill cooked and you can actually recognize as a former potato. Omelets are loaded and hand cut ham are to order! BUT the breakfast while outstanding it is not the highlight! GO for lunch specials --lamb tips -steak tips with Orzo and fresh salad. ALWAYS ask for house dressing --it should be bottled !!! The daily Greek specials will make you want to check and see if the Old man is back from his Greece vacation, peek in the kitchen. NO worries if he is not The KID knows what he is doing (40 yrs) and is training Stavros (12yrs) to follow up in business. On Thursdays the special Lamb shanks are worth the trip from Boston, and they are $9.75 not $36.50 as in Boston. I've been coming to this place for years and have always had a great experience. The food is delicious, the space is clean, and the staff is friendly and hardworking. It's unfortunate to see such an extreme review posted, especially when it seems to be fueled more by a personal disagreement than an honest reflection of the restaurant. I lived in the area many years i used to frequent this AWESOME place for breakfast mainly, 3 eggs over easy home fries toast juice coffee bacon I MISS IT! I loved the service, friendly faces UNBEATABLE!! One may think "oh thats just eggs and bacon" True enough but idk what kind of bacon they used ,the flavor really hit the tongue the coffee was just PERFECT ditto on the juice was like fresh squeezed so what may appear a simple breakfast was not to my taste buds haha , I LOVED IT! great place great people! A friend of mine turned me onto this gem hidden near the transit station in Haverhill. They call the place a deli, but it's really more like a diner with all the foods you'd expect your mother to be whipping up in the back room.
