After evaluating my Ford I was told that there was a Technical Bulletin that came out from Ford several years ago. I am impressed that they did the research to evaluate my car. They told me I did NOT NEED A TRANSMISSION. I only needed an update on the vehicle computer. Here's the numbers. Ford wanted $3500 for a rebuilt transmission. A new transmission was $6000. Final cost at Scotty's $150 to evaluate $250 to upload the new software Total $400.00 Can't say enough good things about this place. Talk about trusting a Mecanic!!! Due to preexisting damage to my rim, they didn't think the tire would seal properly so I could make my 70 mile trip back home. They put my spare on and told me "no charge" for their services. Friendly mechanics, friendly staff, and an all around great experience.

When picking up my car I asked about the breaks, I was told the front breaks were close to needing replacement but wouldn't need them until the next oil change. I asked what could be causing the grinding and was told it was metal fibers in the break pads. I left feeling a little better I had checked on my car for the safety of my family but still felt the grinding when breaking. 1 week later and I looked closely at my front rotor and see it's shredded. I'm so disgusted that these men would let me leave with an unsafe car and basically diminished my concerns. I will never return.

They called me at 4 pm and asked why my jeep was there and where were the keys. Ya right, going to act like you didn't see the envelope with my keys then how did you call me if you didn't see the envelope? They said they would get right to work on it. They had a special $350 an axle. They call me an hour later to say it was done. How did they do 4 rotors and brake pads in an hour? Then they charged me $1300. Within 1 week my brake sensors were chirping. After only 6000 miles my brakes and rotors are shot. I drive highway miles, don't have to brake much. I honestly think they didn't do the rotors and put cheap pads on. I will find out when I go to Firestone this time if originally rotors are on. I can see why they permanently closed.

Called Matt's after and got a quote of $205 right off the bat ($45 parts & $160 labor) and informed me that an alignment for a wheel bearing change for my model car is not necessary BUT if I wanted on it would be $285 all together. I called the other place back immediately told them to F off and took my car the next day to Matt's.. it was done in a couple hours. I am beyond thrilled with the fact that 1. But I'm a long time loner and I put maybe too much stock in decent treatment by people I give money to. From doctors to dry cleaners to service departments of dealerships. And the few employees I observed, dealt with or overheard treated us Honda modestly living sorts decently. I won't name the prior dealership who for most of those 15 years did miracles and were beyond decent. But staff changed and so did attitudes. What am I chasing in this world? Isn't it just an oil change. No. It isn't.

I brought my civic in because my car jerks when I accelerate every time... they tell me it's "the…read morewrong floor mat so it's jamming under the pedal and that's the reason the car is jumping". It's been doing this since before I put the mat in, so that's not the cause. I try explaining this to the advisor and she argues with me that the tech is certain it's from the floor mat. Now this being about the 15th problem I've had between both of my vehicles purchased at this location, with majority of the issues not being fixed and having to go to another dealer, I started to get pissed. I know the floor mat is NOT the cause, and at this point the service manager is involved. I ask if they even drove my car or just assuming it's the mat and he tells me his head mechanic is fantastic and wouldn't just assume. Says he drove the car around the lot and it's fine... some more arguing and the manager finally says okay to have his mechanic take the car on the road for a test drive. I see them pull out, and once they come back they bring the car right back into the shop. Come to find out, as I already knew, it's NOT THE FLOOR MAT. It's the air hose which is cracked so it's pulling in more air than it should. They give me a quote for almost $195, although it's only a $20 part at advanced. I get home, show my friend the part that's cracked and as we're looking under the hood we come to notice they took the plug off one of the reservoirs and never put it back letting debris get in. It isn't the first time they didn't put something back on either, as they forgot to attach the plastic cover to my engine in the past and it fell UNDER the engine, that when I found the piece it was burnt to hell. My other car they had to replace a part for the air conditioner and they forgot to attach the defroster back in so I had no defrost over the winter. Seems like this place has no care for safety, they will tell you whatever they please and not fully assess your vehicle unless you push it. I highly suggest do NOT use this dealer for service, only reason I do still is because my cars under warranty through them, so I'm kinda stuck. Thoroughly check that your car is repaired if you do use them! I don't trust them at all.

From the beginning, communication was a mess--they rarely returned our calls and we had to constantly follow up just to get basic updates. The tech we were assigned to was barely ever at the shop because he worked at multiple locations, and unfortunately, he never handed off our case to anyone else. To make things worse, he clearly didn't understand the process to complete a warranty claim, which delayed everything even further. Now it's April 10th, and we just found out they also weren't returning calls from the warranty company. That's over four months wasted with absolutely no progress, all because of disorganization and lack of professionalism. I had been putting off replacing my tires since the fall because we were waiting for them to replace the rims. Anyone knows you don't mount new tires twice if you don't have to. So now I have no new rims and my tires are bald. They dropped the ball every step of the way. Avoid Fonzarelli's at all costs
