The office is busy on the weekends, but the staff is friendly and very organized. Consultations don't feel rushed, the surgeon makes sure you are very well informed of your assessment and lets you know exactly what to expect, so you can make well-informed decisions. Wisdom tooth removal appointment only took a few mins. I was in and out in 15 minutes! That includes signing the consent form, payment, setting up a follow-up appointment, and the whole wisdom tooth extraction procedure. Bottomline: a very smooth-sailing and fast and easy procedure. Because the surgeon is good and very knowledgeable, there were no complications in the procedure. I recommend Dr. Benjamin Li to anyone looking for a good oral surgeon. Oh, and they also call you a couple days later to check how you are doing, and to let you know you can always call if you have any questions or concerns. Review 86 of 100

If you're looking for the type of care where you're treated like a person, would not really…read morerecommend. Everything was odd, with a focus on cranking out as many surgeries as possible. I understand they get paid per surgery, not hour, but oh my goodness was that the worst I've ever experienced in any care sector. Very weird, it was like an assembly (or.. dis-assembly? lol) line, a factory or something. Don't get me wrong, I didn't expect them to Mr. Rogers me through it, but I also didn't expect such hostility about my nervousness. In their defence, I did wake up from the surgery very scared and tearful. It was my first time under anaesthetic. The nurse I had was (I think) unreasonably upset about my reaction. Like she was mad at me for some reason. Told me to get up and get out but also that I wasn't allowed to leave until I stopped crying. The only pleasant part of the whole experience was the front desk ladies. NIGHTMARE!

What a disappointment. Was referred to said dentist because of an elderly family members broken…read moretooth. Was under the impression that the first visit was to remove what was left. Instead, it was merely a consultation. Next appointment was booked for 9 days after that. THIS IS AN 88 YEAR OLD WOMAN. There was not a single reason that the tooth could not have been extracted right there. To top things off, that appointment was cancelled and rescheduled four days later. Clearly, this is an instance where a patient was treated as an appointment. I can also tell through reviews on other sites that this person seems to have a lack of empathy for others. The receptionist I spoke to was nice, however it was evident that her hands were tied. He may or may not do decent work, but if you're expecting a professional who is prompt, on time and reliable to honour his commitment in seeing you, you might very well be SOL.

I was worried that the experience would be traumatic for my daughter, but Dr. Klein made the process super easy. His staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They took the time to go over the all steps during the prep and answered all of my daughter's questions. I could tell that my daughter was more relaxed once her questions were addressed by the prep nurse. Dr. Klein also has a great sense of humor which also helped put my daughter at ease. We had 2 separate visits (once to remove 2 teeth from the top and again to remove 2 teeth from the bottom) and I must say, I was very impressed with how well the procedures went from prep to recovery. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend dr. Klein and his staff to family and friends.

Teeth are weird. I'm one of those people who didn't have their wisdom teeth removed as a teenager…read more My dentist was concerned that one of my wisdom teeth was tilted too close to a molar and sent a referral to Crescent Oral Surgery. After calling their office a few times and receiving follow-up calls, I didn't have a good impression of their office organization. My dentist sent xrays and photos to their office, but everyone I talked to at Crescent Oral Surgery couldn't access the email. I had to explicitly tell them that I was copied on the email and can send it to them. Their staff sent an email to me that I used to respond back with the xrays and photos. I filled out their online patient form and later that day received a phone call from their office telling me that my dentist sent a referral and asked if I wanted to book an appointment, which was odd because I already booked an appointment. Crescent Oral Surgery is located on the second floor of Hillcrest Mall, so it was easy to find parking. I arrived early as they had asked, and waited about 10-15 minutes before being taken into the procedure room. One of their medical staff confirmed why I was there and measured my blood pressure and heart rate. I was seen by Dr. Mousavifar who was pleasant and had great bedside manner. I opted for local anesthesia and didn't feel a thing. The medical staff also explained what to do/not to do post-surgery and provided a printout. After the procedure, the office staff submitted a claim to my insurance on my behalf so that a portion of the cost would be reimbursed. Overall I thought it was a good experience, but you definitely have to drive the conversation when booking the appointment.
