The receptionist Evelyn said she will contact my dad's insurance company to find out what is the coverage. She got back to them stating that it was full coverage. Two months later they call us to let us know that it will not be covered and that we have to pay the full amount which was close to $2000. When my sister and I went to the clinic to find out why they have never contacted us before and why the receptionsist lied to us in the first place that it will be covered the manager Nowelia yelled at us in front of people at the mall. The receptionist said she spoke to my sister who is underage. When i confronted them as to why they were speaking to an underage the manager banged her hands on the table and got up and started yelling to my face i felt threatened. Not only did they harrass us they called the cops on us. This is the WORST service I received from a company. The people there are horrible and did not apologize once for the mistake the employees did. They did not behave in a professional manner. All they did was lie to us and threaten us! The doctor said the he didn't file the filling down enough so he filed it down and ignored the swelling and pain. The next day, in more pain with more swelling I took him to another dentist. The next dentist took an X-ray and said the the pain and swelling was from an abscessed in the tooth. The original filling was not done correctly or should have never been performed. He needed a root canal not a filling. But what really pissed me off, is my son sat in his chair in pain with a lot of swelling and a dentist with 25 years experience ignored him and sent him home. Why would he do that... because he's not getting paid for the follow-up and wants to get on to the next paying customer. Avoid this business...or expect to pay for multiple procedures on the same tooth so they can bill more and make more profit from your insurance company. We need to make dentistry a goverment provided service and eliminate businesses like this one.

I was one of unfortunate patients of Dr. Ian Erwood from the Unionville Gate Family Dentistry as he…read moreperformed osseous graft and sinus lift in Feb. 2018. At the consultation before the procedure he neglected to tell me that he would not submit a predetermination of insurance benefits before the surgery, so that I know early enough if the procedure is covered. He had not discussed any details of the coverage paperwork. He also refused to consider my opinion on prophylactic antibiotic use for my specific case and prescribed 2 types of antibiotics, corticosteroids and OTC anti-inflammatory drug none of which I ended up using. He was quite rough during the surgery and rushed through it; the shots were very painful. His assistant had teared left corner of my lips while holding it during the surgery. As the insurance rejected the claim for sinus lift, they preapproved coverage for osseous graft to 100%. Since Dr. Erwood failed to include osseous graft into the claim I ended up paying thousands for the procedure. During the post-operative consultation he lied to me that osseous graft charge was a discount which had never been documented as such or discussed with me prior to the surgery. It also had not been mentioned in the claim even though he performed it. If it had or I was made aware of the full amount including the graft and available options I would not have agreed to be his patient in the first place and would find a professional and competent dentist instead. Needless to say, this was my first and last experience with him and none of my friends or family will ever be visiting his office.

Flash forward to today, I was immediately put at ease when I walked into Upper Village Dental because felt the friendliness of the staff. During my teeth cleaning appointment, Lexi ensured that I felt comfortable the whole time, and her communication skills are impeccable! I can see why all of the reviews for this place are GLOWING. Overdue review…read more Upper Village Dental Care is a great place to visit for all your dental needs. My first few visits was with dental hygienist Shawna( sorry if I misspelled it). She was absolutely phenomenal! I returned because of her. She then went on maternity leave and Ashley took over the appointments. I was surprised, she was also amazing! Both of them have a great personality and did a great job. There's TV's on the ceiling, the place seems very clean. Dr. Peter helped me out with my remaining appointments and although I was nervous, he did a great job. I highly recommend this place. And who doesn't want to do a yelp check in for a free teeth whitening gel?

went to vitality health dental clinic last week for a root canal and honestly it went really well…read more i was kinda nervous cuz never had one before but the dentist was super nice and explained everything step by step so it wasnt scary at all. the procedure was smooth and way less painful than i expected. staff were all friendly too, made me feel really comfortable. the clinic is clean and modern, check in was easy and the waiting area was nice. they started on time too which i appreciated. dentist even gave me tips on how to take care of my teeth after the root canal. prices were fair too nothing crazy. overall super happy with my experience definetly gonna come back for regular checkups and would recomend vitality health to anyone, especially if u need a root canal done right with minimal stress

When I called initially to inquire about registering as a new patient, Chau was very nice and understanding on the phone, answering any questions I may have, and following up with me to ensure that all my insurance documents and forms will be set before my appointment. There is a New Patient Form on their website that you just have to complete before the appointment to save time. When I arrived at their office for my appointment, I immediately noticed the cleanliness and neatness of the place. There's Nintendo Wii and Xbox stations for kids, large TV, lots of seating at the waiting room, good lighting, really great set-up over-all, a very welcoming atmosphere. Just about 3 minutes after I arrive for my 10AM appointment, I was then greeted by Daisy, a dental hygienist. She asked me first of all if I have any immediate concerns with my dental health, and the main reason for my visit. I told her I do want to register, and that I have not gone to the dentist in at least 8 years.. yikes! During the comprehensive exam, before Daisy proceeded with each test, she would explain to me the process first, and what needs to be done. After showing me the results of my photos and x-rays, she gave me advice on how to maintain good dental health, and also what procedures I had to go through to fix some very few issues with my teeth. Oh, and here's the best part. There are 2 TVs in the room! One on the wall for when you're sitting up, and one on the ceiling right in front of you for when you're laying down, so you can watch TV and distract yourself during cleaning or any procedure they are doing. The whole time I was holding the remote control... nice.. well, in my opinion that distracted me and made me feel a little less crazy and distracted from all the drilling I can hear. Dr. Daniel dropped by for a few minutes, introduced himself, again made me feel comfortable and ran some quick checks as well. He has a very soothing voice and a very friendly smile, again making me feel calm. After the appointment, I was given a bag of goodies.. YAY! I have another appointment coming up in a week, and I am sure it will be as great as this one! I highly recommend ForestBrook Dental. I already convinced my husband to sign-up as well.
