I'm very grateful that my insurance referred me to Dr. Gaytri Manek. From my very first visit, Dr. Manek and her staff made a wonderful impression. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, which immediately put me at ease during what could have been a difficult transition. Dr. Manek took the time to listen carefully and approached my care thoughtfully. I especially appreciated her conservative approach to prescribing medication--it gave me a lot of confidence in her judgment and reassured me that she prioritizes patient well-being over unnecessary treatments. Instead, she strongly encourages healthy habits like proper nutrition and regular exercise, which aligns perfectly with the kind of care I value. I left my appointment feeling heard, respected, and confident that I am in good hands. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Manek to anyone looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable general practitioner or kidney specialist.

In my last blood work, my doctor noticed some abnormalities, so she referred me to this place. The staff here are friendly and professional, but not overly chatty. I was asked to arrive early to complete a pile of paperwork (mostly standard looking forms) which included my medical history, lists of medications, and such. The visit with the doctor was on time, went rather smoothly and she spoke to me in layman's terms the steps she's going to take to verify my original doctor's diagnosis. I'm to come back in 3 weeks, after taking new medication, an ultrasound (off site) and a new set of bloodwork to compare with my old labwork. Sigh.. it sucks getting old(er). This office is located next door to St. Josephs/ CHOC on the 6th floor of the Providence Medical Building. There's a parking structure located across from the building, and the office validates 90 minutes. Arrive early for your visit, as the parking situation can be a pain. Plus, there's 2 elevators, and they're small and painfully slow.

He was disappointed when Dr. Dang left, but has been super pleasantly surprised with the wonderful experience he got when consulting with Dr Glenn Chiang for the first time. He was greeted and welcomed by the Nurse Practitioner, Joyce Chung, who was marvelous and beyond excellent. Joyce was so sweet, understanding, a great listener and everything one would wish for in a doctor. She had obviously done her homework on my husband's history and came more than prepared to the consultation. She was so knowledgeable about medications and other factors that could influence or impact the kidneys. She explained the results of blood work, line by line, with essential and helpful comments and suggestions. We were both so impressed with her expertise and the compassionate way in which she answered questions and handled the visit. Joyce is the kind of health care provider that people recommend to friends and family!! Once she had completed her side of the appointment, Dr. Chiang saw my husband to oversee everything. This is what proper patient care looks like. They were also on time and provided great patient service.
