The installation tech was amazing: skilled, efficient and respectful of my property, leaving the job site clean. The door itself functions very well with features that exceeded my expectations: battery back-up for power outages is on top of my list, but other small conveniences such as the automatic overhead light (which my cat appreciates) and its smooth and quiet motor. While the mechanical features were integral to the door product itself, it was the excellent service that made Boulder Garage Door a stand-out. Recommended.

I tried numerous times but had no success…read more-- it would start to close but after just a couple of feet of motion it halted and returned leaving my garage door open. At 6:10 pm last night I called A Team Garage Door and was surprised that my call didn't go to voicemail but to a real person who was very helpful. I asked if they would work me into their schedule for the next day. To my surprise, one of their technicians, Patrick Lonnigan, called me about 10 minutes later and asked if I wanted him to come by last night to see if he could identify the problem. He arrived very soon after and immediately identified the problem and fixed it. I was impressed with both his expertise and ability -- he adjusted the sensors that alert the closer if something is in the way. It took no more than a half hour, and I thought he was first rate in his abilities to analyze a problem and find a solution. I highly recommend them. And, i should mention that the A Team home office called me at 10 pm last night to make sure everything was taken care of. I'd give them six stars if that was an option.

I called our regular garage door repair people and just got voice mail so I decided to call Mile High Garage Door , Matt answered the phone and scheduled us for first thing Monday morning. Dave showed up in a timely fashion, looked the situation over and agreed we needed a new spring along with some new rollers and a basic tune-up. We agreed to replace both springs since they were the same age and to generally fix up the rest of the door with new rollers, end bearings and a good lube job since it had been a right around ten years since it was previously done. Dave quoted a reasonable price for all the work and parts without any add on for a trip charge. We thought the price was reasonable so Dave made the repairs. He left everything neat and tidy and it has been right around ten days since the repair and all is working well and the door's operation is very quiet. So thank you Matt and Dave for getting our garage door running so we could get to work on time. We won't hesitate to recommend you to our family, friends and neighbors. My home had suffered damage after the recent high winds in the Broomfield/Thornton/Westminster…read morearea. On one night during those high winds the door on my 60' mobile home would not latch. When I went outside to go to work the next morning the skirting at one end of the house was completely gone, just lying on the ground. I posted an ad on yelp as I have in the past. Dirk responded and I asked for an estimate of the work to level the home and repair the skirting. Dirk showed up the next day prepared to work. He introduced himself and described his years of experience with mobile home leveling specifically but also home construction in general. I scheduled a total of 3 estimates. I'm sure that if you're reading this you know that it is not easy to find a professional for mobile home re-leveling. I selected him based on the conversation that we had and it seemed clear that he understood what was needed. He returned 2 days later at the scheduled time and started working. The first day I could not tell if the house was leveling or not. The house sits on a fairly steep incline and for the last year that I've been in this unit there was a line from the south end of the house that ran nearly the entire length of the house basically bisecting the bedroom and kitchen as well as part of the living room while the front half of the house (including the kitchen) sagged a bit. On the second day when I got home from work I immediately noticed that the bedroom and kitchen were no longer sagging. When I went to bed my bed felt perfectly level. I felt so much relief as I had gotten so used to the house being slanted slightly. I walked into the kitchen and saw the difference immediately. It was evening at that point so I text and let him know that I could feel the difference. He said that he'd come back to make some fine adjustments and he wanted to check again from inside to make sure he got it right. Not only that. A previous contractor that was hired prior to me moving in had removed some of the insulation around the pipes and did not replace it. Dirk was kind enough to point this out, explain why it was necessary and provide insulation and replace it. Apparently the owner was aware of this as well. He rebuilt and re-enforced the skirting by framing it with plywood and then somehow securing it to the concrete. He came back a final time to make adjustments to the leveling and skirting and I left for work that day while he worked. When I returned home I immediately saw that the door the was having trouble opened and closed perfectly. He had not even come inside that day. This man is a wizard with this type of work. He seems to genuinely be a great person and for the price that he quoted, both I and the landlord believe that it was worth every penny. My landlord has already rehired him for another job. He does what he says he's going to do and he clearly knows exactly what he is doing and that is what matters. If you need leveling, skirting or framing I can attest that I think you'd be wise to hire this guy.
