I have been offered multiple different solutions that all did not offer getting the problem fixed. My orthodontist Dr. Geshey (Brazos Braces) who is Dr. GATLIN's fiancé has been amazing and contacted Mr. GATLIN about my condition and he got me connected to Dr. Arango in Dallas to will do the maliofacial surgery to fix my jaw and give me a total joint replacement. Last week I went to Dr. GATLIN to get my wisdom tooth pulled. The whole procedure went super smooth and he called to check up on me later. It healed super fast and the whole experience although not the funnest was great thanks to Dr. GATLIN and his wonderful staff. Thank you to all the folks who work at Brazos Facial Oral Surgery!!! They also give you a nice goody bag with all the stuff you will need to make life bearable the week after your extraction!

Everyone at Heart of the Brazos was so kind, welcoming, and professional. The office is very clean and I felt well taken care of from the moment I checked in to the time I left after my procedure. Dr. Warren clearly explained how the procedure would go, what to expect afterwards, and what I needed to do once I got home. Thankfully the nurse who did my IV (I think her name was Darla) was extremely gentle and I didn't feel a thing. A couple days after my surgery I ended up getting dry sockets (which are very painful) and Dr. Warren was nice enough to see me that same day to relieve my pain and make sure everything would heal properly. I don't ever WANT to have oral surgery again but if I ever need it, Dr. Warren and Heart of the Brazos will definitely be my first choice.

Second larger implant crowded out the teeth in front of the implant site resulting in speech difficulty. Dr. Lassetter denied any wrong doing and mentioned her former partner was on the Texas Dental Board implying that I'll have no recourse. She mislead me to think there was something wrong with me other than the peri-implantitis that she said I did not have. I spent a lot of my own money to get MRI, CT scan, and the removal of the implant by an oral surgeon. She told me there was nothing she could do for me, yet did not refer me to any specialist/oral surgeon. After two years of pain and suffering, I had to find the oral surgeon on my own to remove the implant. After the removal, the pain from the inflammation of the implant site is gone, but there is lasting damage to the right side of my mouth/face.

That said, he did good quality work. And has a very nice office, will all the latest equipment. His dental assistant was also top notch and really knew her stuff. This dentist was excellent with anesthesia -- t was truly painless -- and had a really positive attitude, very friendly and "can do". I really appreciated it. Glad I made the change to "Heart of Texas Smiles".

I felt more cared for by the hygienist than I did him. I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Beck a week ago today. I came in two days ago due to discomfort on my lower extraction sites, he barely looked at my teeth and gave me a syringe to be able to flush out the sites better and said everything looked normal, even the gaping hole on my bottom right extraction site. Well today- two days later- I call at 8 am to get a same day appointment because the discomfort is way worse on my bottom right side, the receptionist gets my info and makes my appointment. I go in for my appointment and there's no recollection of my appointment anywhere in the system, but they squeeze me in nonetheless. I tell the hygienist what I've been experiencing: not being able to eat on my right side, swelling, pain, there's a black hole on the site, and the fact I'm worried about it being a dry socket. She tells Dr. Beck and she comes back to me and tell me that he said it's all normal and to use ORAJEL for any pain and to come back in two weeks if it doesn't get better. Dr. Beck NEVER came and looked at me first hand. I went to Waco Family Dentistry and they confirmed it was a dry socket and packed it for me. It's an issue when I go to a different dentist than Dr. Beck's and tell them my experience and it even makes THEM mad. Dr. Beck left me feeling desperate for dental care.

This caused shifting of my front teeth. Tried to tell me it was my fault in about 5 different ways. He actually told me teeth move all the time. Really???? WHAT???? I have never had a dentist that was a bold face liar trying to cover up the damage he did. He even told me when he placed it in that the crown was sitting too high. Not only was it too high, it was too big. I was having another issue with it as well from the time he placed it in. These concerns were dismissed. He struggled to get it in. Its really sad when you put trust in people like this and they take no accountability. Now that the damage is done he wanted to send me to orthodontist to pay more money. I can see why their overall rating on here is a 2. These people need a lawsuit. Im going to get a second opinion and go from there. I am taking myself and my family elsewhere where people actually care. As I said it's all cookies & cupcakes until something goes wrong. I would mention his name but I don't believe in smearing somebody's name but if my second opinion on what he did by a trusted dentist proves he was in the wrong, I most definitely will seek legal advice. Such a sad situation. I would give a zero rating. Please don't put your trust in these people. Because at the end of the day...its your fault!!!!

When I saw a dentist 5 years ago, the guy said I would have a high risk of permanently losing sensation in my jaw as my teeth were impacted and were very close to my nerves. The dentist did not seem very confident and honestly, it scared me so bad that I avoided every possible surgical intervention. However, the wisdom teeth eventually had to go since it was starting to affect my other teeth and the local dentist here referred me to an oral surgeon to take a look. When I met Dr. Pritchard, he was very comforting and also confident in his abilities. You have no idea how much of a relief it was to hear when he said my teeth would be a very routine procedure and that it was highly unlikely for me to lose sensation in my jaw. Dr. Pritchard was very kind and told me how normal it was to have anxiety about the surgery and that the procedure will be quick and painless. I ended up going under general anesthesia and it was the best decision I ever made (as I had no recollection of the surgery, I did not have to remember any trauma). The surgical assistants were also very kind and also comforted me when I was getting anxious with the IV sedation process. Dr. Prichard is amazing and I recommend anyone who has an intense fear of wisdom tooth extraction to seek only the best oral surgeon to do the job!
