Even after I finished treatment, the pain never went away. My jaw also started clicking every time I opened and closed my mouth. I returned to the clinic for help, but I was told there was nothing they could do because I was no longer their patient. As my symptoms continued to get worse, I sought opinions from other doctors. Eventually, I went to Mexico, where I had a CT scan. The scan showed that my jaw was crooked, and I was told I needed corrective jaw surgery. The specialists there explained that, in their professional opinion, the problem was caused by improper orthodontic treatment and that my braces had only masked the issue instead of correcting it. As a result, I had to undergo major jaw surgery. This experience has been physically painful, emotionally stressful, and financially costly. I trusted this office with my care, but when I returned with serious complications, I felt abandoned instead of supported. I also encourage people to be cautious when reading the reviews. During my treatment, the office offered free coffee gift cards in exchange for leaving a positive review. That made me question whether the online ratings accurately reflect patients' genuine experiences.
