He's got a great, dry sense of humor which put me at ease and his expertise is outstanding. I hope I don't have to visit the office again, except to drop off a thank you gift! I did see him two years prior for my wisdom teeth extractions, so I was so anxious about this particular appointment at first, but he put me at ease during my visit. He told me that he thought I didn't necessarily have it, since it doesn't really occur in people my age, thinking it's probably just a bit of reflux, and he said there's this little patch on there to where the tonsils were removed (this was 15 years ago). So he took off the crown and redid my root canal. After awhile, I still have pain and went back and he said since the tooth is too deep, he was not sure if he got all the nerves out from the tooth. Anyways, fine. He redid it, and it was okay for few months and now the gum around the tooth is STARTING TO HURT! I went to a different dentist to get a second opinion and he told me that I need to go see an endodontist. Feel like I got robbed, same as below comments. Don't ever go to him. PERIOD.

That takes skin from the roof of the mouth and re-attaches it to the bottom gums. We got a referral for a practice in Lincoln Park but my daughter did not feel comfortable with them, so I did some research and found Dr. Reznikov's practice to have good reviews. At our 1st appointment I explained how apprehensive she was about such a delicate, yet highly painful procedure. Dr. Reznikov took his time in examining her, taking impressions, and then consulting with us afterwards. We scheduled the outpatient surgery, and it went just how he described. Over the next two months we had follow-up appointments to make sure all was well and she's now ready for her Invisalign. We couldn't be happier.

His awful behavior and attitude when speaking to his patients is (there's no other words but "HORRIBLE"). Dr. Voit's rudeness, goes on and on, he's a MF and should not be practicing. This dental facility has a very comfortable waiting room. Everyone is very polite and friendly. They have amazing technology that really shows you the problem areas and they provide great solutions. The surgeon was amazing, the anesthesiologist put me at easy, was very gently inserting the iv (I'm afraid of needles). They did a phenomenal job all the way around. They all work as a TEAM- there is a very good culture here and it shows with entire staff. I never thought at age 46 I would have all of my teeth removed and get implants both top and bottom. They are prepared and have a plan for you and it works. Couldn't be happier with how I was treated and the payment options they provided. There's even a hotel that is across the street that they recommend that is very good for those that are having early morning procedures. I give them 5 stars- honest, direct, but not pushy.

I visited for an extraction and Dr. Figueroa and his team were so attentive and patient. They took the time to explain exactly what would happen, the risks, and answer all of my questions. I felt well cared for and comfortable. I expressed my dental anxiety to Dr. Figueroa and he was compassionate and offered assistance by way of laughing gas for my extraction. The extraction couldn't have gone better. Dr. Figueroa talked his was through the procedure, which was helpful. They have a cozy little recovery room for post-op and then you're on your way. They charged me upfront at the time of my appointment instead of billing my insurance first. I was told they couldn't bill my insurance because they were out of network and that the visit wouldn't be covered. Based on what happened afterward, that information appears to have been incorrect. They did bill my insurance, and when I later received my Explanation of Benefits (EOB), my actual patient responsibility was significantly lower than what I had been charged on the day of the appointment. I found this experience extremely frustrating and concerning. Being given inaccurate information about insurance coverage and being charged more upfront than what I ultimately owed left me feeling misled. I plan to pursue this matter further with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's office because I believe these billing practices should be reviewed. Based on my personal experience, I would strongly encourage others to do their research and proceed with caution before seeking care here. I expected much better communication, transparency, and professionalism.

Friendly this office was and is not in trying to get either of the above to occur. So, similar to "Jay B's" utterly genuine July 4 Yelp review (okay, right, "interesting" in a Tilly-Norwood-is-too sort of way), for ages, this practice made me feel like I had to live for years with pain and fear, never believing I could eat Barnaby's excellent tavern style pizza again...without making a huge mess. (Gotta love its cornicione!) Or eating one of EATACO's massive corn shell tacos. Those are impossible to bite into without good implants. But Greektown's Ithaki Estiatorio, where forks and knives are needed and the saganaki of which is unlike the competition's, may still be had.
