I was perusing carpet and tile cleaning services on Yelp for the South Bay and came across these guys. I called in to get a quote and I spoke with Manny over the phone and easily set up the appointment to have Lucas come out and give me an estimate to deep clean my carpet in 4 bedrooms, a hallway, landing, and stairs, as well as cleaning the tile and grout in my kitchen and half bath downstairs. Lucas arrived on time and did an excellent job in cleaning. The carpet and the tile/grout look good as new. Also on the day of the scheduled cleaning, I noticed that Yelp was running a promotion for Mark It Clean and I could buy a voucher for $125 for $149 worth of service. I called the office and spoke with Alex asking if I could use the voucher for same day service. She was very kind and informed me that I would be able to. All in all, everyone I spoke and dealt with was very friendly and helpful. I have had to contact them a few more times (spoke with Destiny and Manny (again)) and have been thoroughly impressed with the level of customer service that they provide. I paid $300 for this company to clean my elderly father's recliner and twin mattress. He was in and out in about 20 minutes. The mattress came out great which is why they get 2 stars, but after the chair dried it still had a strong urine odor (He was incontinent and would have accidents). I called twice and was told the "manager" would call me back. Over two weeks later and still no call. I used this company because they claimed to sanitize and deodorize the furniture. We called Manny after we had experienced poor service with a different company. We wanted our white shaggy area rug cleaned before the new year. After Manny had his first look at our rug he asked us a few questions. He was being very direct with his comments and made sure our expectations were going to be met. He did give us a few options, including taking it back to his warehouse for some real deep cleaning. He explained the value of the rug wouldn't be worth the cost of taking it offsite. I really appreciated his honesty, and even though the price was a few times more than the previous guy, the level of customer service and quality made it worth it. So I have a very nice sofa that I bought a couple years ago. After two years of wear with 2 cats walking all over it and my feet AND the Housin sauce I spilled on it...well let's just say it needed a good cleaning. Manny and Bruce came to clean it after quite a search all over Yelp to find someone who I thought could do a good job. Manny did a GREAT job! My sofa looks almost new again and I'm very happy. It looks like the big Housin sauce spot came out (hopefully it won't come back but there is always that possiblility) and it's smells and looks wonderfully clean. Pricing they charge is a lot higher than other local carpet cleaners. They assured me they're the best and their pricing reflects so. I went along and paid $450 to get my carpets cleaned in my 800 sq ft one bedroom apt. I get my carpets cleaned every 6 months. Their cleaning job looked no different than the others I get. American Carpet Cleaning is who I use now and they charge me $350 for the apt, upholstery, and steam clean the kitchen counters. Sorry Mark It Clean, but your prices are not justified. read more

Terrible job! I had them clean a 8x10 carpet, they did not remove any of the stains or odors. I had to call them to complain that after the carpet dried you could still see all the original stains and smell the puppy urine(which they claim they can remove) They did not offer my $160 back (they charge an extra $10 for using a credit card). When they came back the second time next day, and Manny cleaned it this time he said "this is the best we could do." They did not offer a free service for treating on the spot stains or carpet stains and did not care if I was satisfied with their work ( but they claim on their website "if you're not satisfied your service is free" Lies! Look at their work, terrible! The least they could have done is offered to take the carpet to the warehouse and deep cleaned it there but no they didn't offer that. Why? Because they charge like $250 to take your rug and clean it well at the warehouse! Well then I could just buy another rug for that. Complete rip off! read more

They are nice and fast responses. But honestly think that their price are high and unreasonable. For sofa (3seat) they charges $150. My sofa seat has a cover where it can actually remove and wash it so it won't be hard to clean. Main thing I want to clean was the bottom and armrest where fabric are not able to remove. Bruce and Roberto were awesome! You would never know that 2 dogs and 4 cats share the couch with us. Our couch is tufted and I was concerned that they wouldn't be able to get to all of the nooks and crannies but nothing was overlooked. I used this company for carpet cleaning and never had a problem until now.. I recently had a flood in my house and called Manny over to clean the carpets well it turns out that it need a lot more than just a cleaning. So we started the drying process which took a few days. I explained the situation to Manny and he put me on the phone with someone who wanted me to lie to the insurance company (I didn't) then Manny offered to be there to speak with my insurance adjuster and I thought that was very nice of him then he also offered to put me in touch with someone to replace my carpets and someone to check for asbestos and bacteria , I thought Manny was a wonderful help. I received Manny bill for $880 then he tells me he needs to send me another bill that he wants me to send to the insurance company and this bill shows up at $2,000 I asked him what the extra $1,220 charge was and he said that's not for me that's for the insurance company not to worry about it the day after somebody from his company called and wanted a deductible and they wanted the $2,000 payment now I thought Manny was still working so this was going to cover everything that he was going to continue doing as well as what he's already done I was wrong. Manny showed up the following day and said that his portion of the job was done then he had the abatement company let him know when they were finished with my job here and then told the carpet installer that once we picked everything out to send him our estimate now many had nothing more to do here so why he was getting my information?? This made no sense to me. Then when I questioned him about the $2,000 and why I had to pay it he told me that was the regular bill. That is not what he had initially told me. Then my insurance company calls me and says that Manny contacted them for payment!! I already paid!! The insurance adjuster thought the bill was outrageously High, she stated she hasn't received a build that large for such a small area before, I explained my situation to her and she explained to me how he submitted bills asking for payment I sent the insurance company all of my communications with him along with my receipts she suggested that I contact the Better Business Bureau which I'm going to do. I have also disputed these charges with the credit card company.This is a shady man and a shady company and I no longer trust them!! I will never use them again and I hope nobody else does!! Edit 4/3 My insurance company called me this morning to inform me Manny sent them another bill for $2238 again the bill went up and remember I already paid him $2000. My insurance company said that the bill is bloated and outrageous so they will not reimburse me the $2000 that I already paid Manny instead they will only send me $1,200 because that's what the bill should have been for at Max. Again the worst company ever they are shady and shiesty and I would never do business with them again!! read more

I will recommend this service to anyone who has cats and anyone who needs anything deep cleaned in their house. My cat peed on my bed, memory foam mattress, and I did everything that the guides online told me to do, but nothing worked and the smell persisted. The Mark It Clean guys came over and showed us a YouTube video of their proprietary cleaning method. That was enough to get us to have them take the rug back to their warehouse. They said it was one of the worst-smelling rugs they've ever encountered, and when they brought it to us, the smell was gone.
