I want to begin by stating that Dr. J is an exceptional, compassionate dentist. It is deeply…read moredisappointing that I will not be returning to Holistic Dental Wellness solely due to front-desk management, poor accessibility, and a lack of administrative transparency. My negative experience was driven by three main issues: * Pre-Appointment Support: Prior to my visit, front-desk staff were impatient over the phone when I requested basic assistance with registration details, offering excuses rather than straightforward help. * Accessibility Issues: In the waiting room, I requested paper forms because reading legal documents on a small smartphone screen is difficult. Staff reluctantly printed a document in extremely tiny, illegible print. When I explained that at 60 years old I needed readable text to understand what I was signing, my concerns were dismissed with comments that "this is what all our patients do." * Lack of Transparency & Patient Autonomy: After waiting past my scheduled appointment time, I asked to speak with Dr. J, only to be informed he had left due to a medical emergency. Staff openly admitted their standard practice is to wait until a patient is already seated in the dental chair before disclosing a provider swap. Withholding information about a provider change until a patient is already in the treatment chair removes patient autonomy and puts unfair pressure on them to accept a doctor they have never met. For anyone with past dental anxiety, trust and clear communication are essential to feeling safe. Dr. J is wonderful, but a practice is only as strong as its front line. The defensive behavior, lack of reasonable accommodation, and policy of delayed disclosure at the front desk completely destroyed my confidence in this office.

Absolutely the Best Dental Practice in America!…read more After moving from Indiana to Florida, I tried several dentists in the Tampa Bay area--none of them even came close to the experience at Holistic Dental Wellness on Greyhound Court. I've been a patient here for over twenty years, and I can honestly say I will never go anywhere else. The staff is not only highly skilled, but they are also some of the most genuinely friendly and caring people you'll ever meet. They make every patient feel comfortable and truly cared for. This practice goes far beyond dentistry--they care about your overall wellness. The difference is night and day compared to anywhere else I've been. I would fly across the country--or even across the world--just to be treated here. That's how much I value and trust this team. If you're looking for dental care that combines expertise, compassion, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place.

The office is chic and comfortable. Flat screen TVs in each exam room, coffee in the waiting room, on time appointments...it's a great place for dental work. I regretfully have dental anxiety despite Dr. Tiek being wonderful! He has been able to accommodate me with my anxiety and he and his staff are very nice and patient with my anxiety. I have 5 children and although they are definitely willing to help when I have to have kids with me during my appointment, I wouldn't say I necessarily recommend this office for young children's appointments. I have taken my children here, but would recommend a pediatric dentist where there is a children's friendly waiting room and dental staff who routinely work with young children. Overall, I love this dental office and Dr. Tiek is knowledgeable and friendly. I have had a few "emergency" dental issues and he has promptly addressed my issues after hours. I would definitely recommend this office!

I've been going to Dr. Neff for years now and should have stock options or something for all of the work that I've had done, but my oral care needs have been greatly improved and dental restoration journey is nearly at its end. They referred me to an amazing dental surgeon (see review for Dr. Christman) and I'm also currently in braces, something that other dentists advised against due to the severity of my crowding and age. They never once made me feel insecure about my teeth or the path that I wanted to take in improving my smile. I truly appreciate all of them for that.

Dr. Larry Pauley originally purchased his practice from a family friend of mine in the early 2000's. Our family friend had been my dentist since birth, and since I value my teeth, I was initially concerned with having a new practitioner. However, I, along with the rest of my family, have been overly impressed with the services offered by Dr. Pauley. Getting an appointment with him is a breeze; the office staff is extraordinarily friendly and organized; his dental assistants and hygienists are dedicated professionals, and the practice seems to incorporate all the latest dental technologies. Dr. Pauley seems to know all of his patients--and he goes out of his way to make sure that they are satisfied with the level of care which they receive. To my knowledge, Carmel Advanced Dentistry accepts most major dental plans. When the cost of services is beyond the scope of insurance coverage (in other words, when the patient has to pay out-of-pocket), the practice does not overcharge. I also know, from personal experience, that Carmel Advanced Dentistry makes every effort to establish a reasonable payment plan with their patients if they are unable to satisfy their entire bill at the point of service. This, of course, is entirely at the discretion of the practice; I'm cannot guarantee that payment plans are permitted in every case. Dr. Pauley is a dentist with a lot of years ahead of him. That's a good thing for people like me; we won't be looking for a new one anytime soon.
