Although it was priced lower than some other places in the desert, it almost felt like it was watered down for lack of a better description. I began to look for a better option. I tried a dermatologist in the desert and thought the outcome was okay but didn't appreciate the long wait time for my appt, when I was on time. A RN friend recommended Samantha at the Plastic Surgery Institute and I've been seeing her for all my needs since 2017. I've been treated by fantastic by the entire staff and the are experts who are experienced in what they do. The staff has always been nothing but kind, respectful, professional, and welcoming. The Botox didn't work where it was supposed to and instead left my face uneven and distorted. When I raise my eyebrows, my expression looks bizarre and exaggerated. My smile lines look worse than before. The Botox in my jaw caused weeks of pain and bruising, and I still have difficulty chewing. The filler in my jawline left it sagging and heavier instead of more defined. It took several attempts to get a follow-up call scheduled, but the real issue was the dismissive attitude during that call. I was told that of the $5,000 I paid, only $1,000 was attributed to Botox--and that they would only consider refunding a portion of that. I still have not received any refund in any amount. At any price, this level of care and professionalism is unacceptable.
