My husband was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and as he had seen one of the physicians here for a non-cancer reason he wanted to come back to an office he felt familiar with. This practice has several offices located around the area. We have only visited the one on Shircliff and the one in Fleming Island. His doctor is at the Shircliff location so this is where we've been most of the time. All I can say is this place is amazing. The staff are so friendly and caring. They take the time to answer any and all of your questions and concerns. All of them from the front desk to the phlebotomists to the RN's up to the ARNPs and doctors are fantastic. I felt immediately that they had only my husband's best interest in mind when setting up his care plan. We see Dr. Badrinath who is so calm and straightforward. His presence is very calming. Our first visit was longer than one hour and I never felt like he was rushing us. One thing I like is that with every visit they hand you your results, so we have a folder with all of his labs, scans, etc. available to us at home if needed. I don't wish anyone to have to visit this office, but if you needed to, this is a great practice and my husband trusts them 100%.

It had ample parking and I found a spot quickly before my appointment. Good news, parking is free. When I went through the lobby someone greeted me and I was able to go to the 7th floor to check in. Check-in was easy, a gentleman checked me in, gave me a clipboard, to fill out some paperwork. I will say while the appointment isn't fun, at least you have a beautiful view of downtown and the river.

Was told by the scheduling staff that their manager told them I could not be seen there since I didn't have the surgery there. I will leave the name of the representative out of this review and hope they understand that that a life is more precious than money. The quality of care is a 0 in my eyes. Speaking from experience, the customer service part of it isn't that good. There is a disconnect in…read morecommunication between the hospital, St. Vincent's where the procedures/surgery takes place and the Cancer Specialist office where the doctors, nurses and medical schedulers are. There is no communication between the two places where there should be because if no one can communicate with the other, that could mean that someone may die if proper communication is not made! There's got to be a better system in place for communication so everyone knows what is happening with the patient and everyone will know what care the patient is receiving. It would save a lot of time and energy in having to repeat why the patient or care taker is calling if the hospital and doctor's office can communicate!

I wouldn't usually review a medical office, but my experience today was so great I just had to! I…read moremet with Dr. Patel last week and he seemed confident and informed. He promptly scheduled me for an infusion this week and that's what I had today. There is plenty of parking, a large lobby, and even a vending machine for snacks if your infusion takes a while like mine did! Let me preface I have a horrible fear of needles, so this kind of place is a nightmare for me. When I told the nurses and the people who draw blood, they were so quick to make me as comfortable as possible. Kris, the nurse manager, was able to find a vein in my baby sized veins. She was so patient, kind, and compassionate. I get anxiety about being a burden since I can be difficult, but she didn't make me feel that way for a second. Another honorable mention is the nurse I had, Jasmine, who was so attentive and supportive. She explained things very thoroughly and made me feel confident in the treatment I was getting. I couldn't have asked for a better nurse. Overall, if you come here, be assured you'll have some great care with professionals who lead with compassion and patience. No one wants to go to a cancer center, but the nurses and doctors change that once you meet them.
