Okay, I hadn't gone to the dentist in over, oh I don't know, 4 years or something? I didn't have insurance, so I never went. When I received benefits with my job and I also began to have toothaches. Turns out that I had to get my wisdom teeth removed--ALL FOUR OF THEM. yeesh! When I went into the office, the staff was incredibly friendly. I told the lady, I believe her name was Dorothy, that I had a phobia of dentists and she said she would try her best to make the experience a pleasant one. They use this cool computer program and track your teeth information--it's really nifty. Honestly, I didn't feel ANY pain while she was cleaning my teeth and she was even using those weird crooked metal tools! Surprisingly, I had no cavities and my teeth were in pretty good condition! I've gone back twice a year since, and have been worked on by Doug. He's really friendly and tries to have a conversation which can be difficult when you can't even move your jaw. I appreciate him talking though, because it takes your mind off of your teeth and redirects your thoughts to the conversation. After Doug finishes, Dr. Aranbasich comes in to make sure everything looks good. Then, I go home happily with fresh, clean teeth and a free toothbrush! Call the offices for an appointment, and if it's an emergency I think they actually leave Dr. Aranbasich's cellphone number on the voicemail. I'd recommend Dr. Aranbasich to anyone. Dr. Aranbasich is the best dentist I've ever experienced. Have sent about 18 people to him over the years and they all say the same. HOWEVER, he moved to Vegas this year and another dentist, Dr. Nicco took over. Melinda, who ran the office, left. All of Aranbasich's hygienists left. None of the new people including the dentist come close to the quality of work and professionalism. Worse, they're mediocre at best. The past two cleanings were done by two differebt hygienists. I left both appointments feeling like it wasn't a great/thorough cleaning. The office staff is fine. For a 9am appointment I was sitting outside a locked door waiting for the office to open. The new dentist, is ok. But he was 35 minutes late arriving the last appointment I had. The office manager, Carol, said he wasn't answering her text. The appointment before he kept trying to upsell me on products like a telemarketer. So his professionalism is at question in my opinion. Overall, it's "fine" but a major downgrade from Dr. Aranbasich's world. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Aranbasich and his staff since moving to Los Angeles in 2006. I had an amazing dentist in San Francisco and was concerned that I wouldn't find one as competent, skilled or professional however I was quickly surprised and pleased that I did after my first visit with Dr. Aranbasich. His staff is great: professional, courteous, respectful of your time and just all around nice people. I actually ENJOY going to the dentist! You don't hear that too often. I have had routine work, cleanings, fillings and some minor cosmetic work all done by Dr. Aranbasich and his staff and have NEVER experienced pain or discomfort. They are awesome! There is no other way to put it: Dr. Aranbasich and his staff are a completely professional, technologically advanced and top notch service. They are a always on top of their schedule. The place is infinitely clean. It is warm and inviting (for a Doctor's office!), and in 3 years, I have NEVER waited more than 5 minutes for my appointment to begin. They are advanced in the sense that their records are all electronic. You can see previous x rays, previous periondontal exams right in front of you as you get your teeth cleaned. The dental hygienist, Daphne, is literally as good as it gets. I can't more highly recommend her. She simply knows her profession. She'll offer you a new toothbrush with each visit, and always tells you how you're progressing. His staff is efficient and kind. They remember you as soon as you walk in. There is zero indifference in this office; you are their client, and you'll feel that from the moment you walk in. It is rare when you can find a medical professional that you want to pronounce grade A. Even when they're good, there always seems to be something. Not here. If you live in the area, I can't more highly recommend Dr. Aranbasich's service. You'll never avoid the dentist again. read more

The pluses: Open on Saturday (HUGE PLUS) Friendly staff Painless cleaning (or whatever they were doing in that dirty hole I call a mouth) Located next to LACMA, makes for an awesome after dentist thing to do The minuses: You have to pay for parking here, which ended up costing me about 10 bucks The dentist doesn't validate parking so I had to go to one of the restaurants downstairs to get validation. I LOVE this guy! Years ago, [1994] I had been told by another dentist that I needed a crown that would cost about $700. I told that doctor that I'd get a second opinion... they promptly told me "oh, well how about if we do it for half?" That sent me running in the other direction and looking for recommendations... which lead me to Dr. Aranbasich. When I went in, Dr. Aranbasich told me the tooth had a crack and was totally fixable with a just a filling and should hold up just fine. He is as honest as the day is long! Since then, I've never strayed in spite of his not being in my current health plan, I continue to go to him. He is nice, honest, personable, makes me laugh and truly is a delight, especially given that I was always a "white knuckler" prior to going to him! He'll work with you on payment plans and is in no way a gouger or someone who would pad your bill with stuff you don't need. You will love him! :o) Oh, and btw... the cracked tooth that he fixed in '94 is STILL holding up! read more

My entire life I had a fear of dentists, and now it is completely gone! The treatment I receive every time is top of the line. Exceptionally professional. Oftentimes I joke saying: "Coming here is like going to a spa." In some sense it really is. I always feel relaxed and at ease. I even fell asleep on couple of occasions: during cleaning and cavity filling. My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Aranbasich for 4 years and absolutely thrilled with the quality of his work, staff and professionalism. Having been referred by a friend, I first went to Dr. Aranbasich to have a crown on my front tooth replaced. Obviously the front tooth is extremely important and never before had a dentist been so focused on finding the best color match and sizing for my crown. It is also worth mentioning how committed Dr. Aranbasich is to his patients in that while my front crown was being made, I had a temporary crown and after biting into a hard piece of bread (my fault), the temp crown cracked. When this happened on a Friday evening, I left a voicemail at Dr. Aranbasich's office and to my pleasant surprise; he called back within the hour and kindly offered to come in early before his first Saturday appointment to fix the temporary crown. The story has a happy ending as after having various crowns on my front tooth for 25 years, the new crown was the best quality ever. Since this time I have been a loyal patient for all of my dental needs (check-ups, cleanings and replacing some old fillings) and would highly recommend Dr. Aranbasich. Additionally, Doug the hygienist does a fantastic job cleaning my teeth and takes his time doing so. Lastly, I noticed one review mention that parking was not validated but I can share that in 4 years, I cannot recall one time that I was unable to easily find a spot on the street right near the office. read more

I've been coming here every six months for two years, since I first moved to LA. After several experiences with drill (and x-ray) happy dentists, I'm pretty wary of trying new ones, but Dr. Aranbasich's office was recommended to me through a friend of a friend, and I haven't been disappointed. Everyone in the office is friendly and kind, and I never feel worried about them trying to tell me I have cavities when I don't. I switched insurance plans recently and they're not in network anymore, but I like the office so much that I'm planning to still go anyway. Great dentist!!! read more

Dr Mark is the best dentist Ive ever been to. He is lovely, efficient and doesn't try and thrust unnecessary procedures on you. Doug, the hygienist is wonderful. Actually went yesterday with my tail between my legs because I haven't been in so long. Normally one gets chastised (by other dentists or hygienists) for being so overdue, but Doug told me it was all fine. He has a great sense of humor and it takes any discomfort away! Melinda at the front desk is charming. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Only downside is the $11+ parking! Figured next time I'll park at the museum parking down the street for $7. and walk half a block. read more

Dr. Mark and his staff are friendly, helpful, and fun. The parking situation doesn't bother me because I live within walking distance of his office, so I never have to park there. Dr. Mark Aranbasich is the best Dentist in Los Angeles, Miracle Mile. Dr Aranbasich is very detail oriented and very gentle. I have been going to him for over 3 years now and drive from San Clemente! His staff is very professional and friendly. They have top of the line computers, x-ray equipment and I when I sit in the chair, my name, chart and x-ray's are all right there in front of me. They are always on time and call with reminders for your appointments. I highly recommend Dr. Aranbasich. He is in LA, Miracle Mile district, in the screen actors building. Im usually very scared of dentists and havent been to one for a long while. But the need for a dentist came and i started looking whom to pick and where to go, so after reading great reviews on this site and comparing it to another option i went and scheduled appointment with dr. Aranbasich. Dr. Aranbasich and his assistant along with reception lady were all friendly, respectful and explained to me everything very well from my finances to my needed dental work. I was scheduled for deep cleaning which i was scared of as well but to my pleasant surprise dr. Aranbasich did my anesthesia and was very professional, and i didnt feel anything at all, and trust me, lol, i had a lot of stuff to work on and he was scrubbing my teeth very well and very hard :) and afterwards i didnt have any black spots on my teeth as i had before. I am also going for second side of my mouth to get deep cleaning and no longer afraid to get in dentist chair. Although parking is paid i easily found parking on the street and parked there for free for 2 hours so that wasnt a problem at all. You guys will enjoy coming to dr. Arranbasich's office and enjoy how friendly and respectful his staff is. read more
