I observed him being very rude to guests and staff at a wedding that I attended recently. He complained about everything and was very snarky and arrogant. If you are looking for a DJ for your event, look no further than DJ K Smith!…read more I first saw DJ K Smith at a friend's wedding, and noticed that he was adding a lot of energy and personality to the party, so my husband and I contacted him when it came time to plan our own wedding. Booking DJ K Smith will be the best decision you make for whatever event you are planning, you will not be disappointed. He is extremely professional in all his interactions, responds in a timely manner, and he even gave us one free consultation meeting to help us figure out what music we needed for both our ceremony and reception. DJ K Smith provided it all, and when it came time for the reception, he definitely took the energy in the room to another level. My husband and I were not expecting a lot of dancing at our wedding because we figured people would be on the shy/reserved side. Little did we know there would be entire tables coming up to dance in front of everyone else. A lot of this was thanks to DJ K Smith engaging the crowd and getting everyone pumped up to be a part of the fun. There were also many guests singing along with the music, and DJ K Smith added to the fun by occasionally cutting out the music so you could hear all the guests singing at the top of their lungs. We had so much fun on our wedding day and so many of our guests said this was one of the most fun receptions they've been to in a while, and that is quickly followed by comments about how our DJ was the best DJ they've seen at any reception. We will be talking about this for years to come. Thanks, DJ K Smith!

My friend Jane recommended him to me after her wedding, and after hearing great things about him, I emailed him and he got back to me right away ( he is very responsive and a great communicator) He had offered us a very resealable price for our reception and we felt very comfortable working with him. We met with him a month before the wedding and he went over all the details with us and the line up. I learned from my coordinator that the DJ is the one who really orchestrates the wedding and i must say Kerry did that beautifully. He went over every step with us and asked us what songs we wanted. Granted we knew we could trust him so we put our specific songs such as first dance and then asked him to lead At our reception, Kerry made the transition from one step to another very smooth. We received many compliments regarding how wonderful he was. He kept people dancing all night long!!' We got tired but he knew how to keep the guest dancing and having fun! When we were planning, we wanted to splurge on two things: a great venue with an epic view and delicious food, and the best DJ we could find so that we could dance all night. We hired Kevin to DJ our wedding because he came highly recommended and after listening to his sets on SoundCloud, it was a no brainer!! He came to set up at our wedding in Dana Point on time (actually early!) and played every single song we had requested, but also included some of his own music to keep things interesting and to keep everyone dancing. We got so many compliments from our guests, even our photographers on how awesome of a DJ he was!!! Our photographer said, "We have done a lot of weddings and your DJ is too good.. he's not a wedding DJ!" Haha! Even though the wedding was 2 weeks ago, our guests are still telling us that they're having wedding withdrawals because it was just too fun. If you're looking for a DJ who knows his music (deep house, chill house, EDM, even hip hop), Kevin is your man!!! He's very responsive, answered all my questions before and even during the wedding, and prices are also very reasonable!!

All texts, emails and phone calls were returned promptly. He really did everything to make sure the reunion committee members and I felt comfortable that the audio aspect of our event was going to be handled well. This was so valuable, especially when there's so many other aspects of event planning that we had to stress about! On the day of the event, they were on time and were able to give the crowd exactly what they wanted. Their equipment set up looked great, the music filled the room and the lights really made the banquet hall look like a real party! I remember looking around at some point and seeing every single person in the room on the dance floor! He knew when to play the 2007 throwbacks and when the crowd craved for something a little more 2017. He and his team really knew how to feel out the crowd. The following day, we were flooded with messages from guests saying how much of a fun time they had. All in all, I'd say these guys really know what they're doing. I'd totally hire them to DJ my next event in a heartbeat!
