I was prescribed a minoxidil topical solution from this office, and it caused a significant…read moreallergic reaction on my scalp. Despite this, both the dermatologist and the medical assistants insisted that the reaction could not have been caused by the product and advised me to resume using it once the irritation cleared. I followed their instructions, and as soon as I reapplied the solution, my scalp broke out in the exact same reaction the very next day. Even after experiencing two identical reactions within four weeks--each occurring immediately after using the topical--everyone I spoke with continued to dismiss the obvious connection and suggested the cause was something else I was doing. It is extremely clear that the reaction was caused by the product they prescribed, yet throughout every conversation, the staff didn't to acknowledge this possibility. The unwillingness to take my concerns seriously was very frustrating.

Ultraclear laser and Lasercoring with Dr. Shanthala…read more I have been going to Dr. Shanthala for a number of years and less than two weeks ago I had facial treatment with the Ultraclear laser and Lasercoring. I am so thrilled with the results. I did not use any numbing pre-treatment and the recovery process was only a few days. I had to travel to three different conferences the following week after treatment and I was able to present without any issues. Dr. Shanthala is an incredible doctor, and I would get laser treatment with the Ultraclear laser and Lasercoring again. All the treatments Dr. Shanthala offers are amazing. Now, just over one and half weeks out from my initial visit, I couldn't be happier with the results. My skin looks great, and the treatment areas look youthful and natural.

I have problem skin. My ailments include multiple difficult conditions, some with little clear…read moreevidence for management, and I am at a high risk for melanoma. When I was 13, I watched melanoma kill a close relative in her forties. Health is the subject of a fair amount of anxiety for me, and my hundreds of moles have been an acute source of constant worry. I have worked with a half dozen dermatologists. Some were schooled at the top universities in the world (Harvard, Hopkins). Dr. Rockoff leaves them all behind. A Harvard law grad myself, I tend to intimidate people by barraging them with difficult questions when I'm tense. When we met, Dr. Rockoff took it all in stride. He was neither dismissive, nor did he indulge my anxiety (both make the anxiety much worse). He was, in short, kind of "fatherly," in a certain stereotypical sense. Supportive, but firm. Clear and positive, but realistic. By not being at all impressed or overwhelmed by the sheer force of my personality, he was able to build the deep trust I need to let someone else handle my skin. He's done a great job of managing the chronic stuff. But most important, he (and a little therapy!) have helped me take my nearly debilitating anxiety down so much that I rarely worry about cancer anymore. I could not have done it without his competence and expertise (he's seen tens of thousands of moles) and his spectacular bedside manner. Thank you Doctor Rockoff - you played a large part in changing my life!

His primary doctor advised he see a dermatologist right away. Dr. Kornbleuth's receptionist was very nice and booked my dad an appointment as soon as the doctor was available. I was also offered to see the PA there, but my dad insisted on seeing the doctor. I am happy to say the office staff was friendly and efficient. We had to wait a small amount of time, but that was okay because my father had some paperwork to fill out. The doctor had a good bedside manner, which is good for my dad, because he hates going to the doctors. My dad had many questions and Dr. Kornbleuth patiently answered them. We never felt rushed, and will definitely be going there to continue to manage my dads skin issues. Good office staff and great care. :)

When I got to the office, I was in the waiting room waiting for my appt and several of the girls were whispering about a client that was there in an exam room. Once I was able to talk to someone, I was told that they no longer do the procedure that I was interested in and that they haven't done it in a very long time. Not cool. Anywho, I listened to their pitch about all the other products they sell and procedures they do and then it's time to meet the doctor. The doctor told me that my face could be offensive to people because I have a natural frown. She even went so far as to tell me that I could probably have better relationships with people if I let her fix my frown. Needless to say, I will not be going back nor will I be recommending this office to anyone. That office really needs to work on their delivery.
