Ive been going to this JCC for many years and it offers everything. They have a fantastic soccer field as well as a swimming pool, hot tub and a Sauna. They do have a small food shop as well as a kosher subway and a theater. They have new plays all the time. they also have multiple baskey ball courts and a first class gym. the inside is super clean and the staff is friendly. they also have tennis courts and are an excellent venue for any event. read more

The camp deserves 5/5, and the after-school program--especially the MMA classes--also deserves 5/5. Unfortunately, the ECA is 0/5. In my opinion, the leadership lacks professionalism, accountability, and effective communication. Families are expected to pay an additional $900 per month for PE, and children who are not enrolled may be suspended from attending until the payment is made. I also witnessed staff attempting to force pacifiers on infants who did not use them and a teacher pulling a child's hair. Despite reporting these concerns, I did not feel they were addressed appropriately. I experienced repeated harassment after raising concerns, and I saw many families become disappointed and leave the program. While I highly recommend the camp and the after-school MMA program, I cannot recommend the ECA to parents looking for a supportive and trustworthy educational environment. read more

The front desk ladies are extremely unkind and unwelcoming. I have been a member of numerous JCC's for over 10+ years. I have never had an experience like the one at this location. It is very disappointing to be greeted by such misery. I do not regret ending my membership for this sole reason. read more

This place is disgustingly dirty and the counselors are completely ignorant towards the kids. My 4 year son was severely injured due to the staff's negligence. Stay away from this place if you have little kids as they are inadequately staffed to care for that age group. read more

A great facility. Friendly, courteous staff, a very clean gym, even has wifi! Great gym for anyone looking for one, even can save some money if you're local. Clean basketball gym and very clean locker rooms. Bball court surface is hard as hell though -- don't know what it is but it's not wood. Has very little give and my knees could feel the difference from a normal indoor court. Otherwise this is still a great gym I would be happy to have as my everyday spot. read more

My first time coming to this JCC was close to 40 years ago as a child. Growing up nearby, parents working, this was where I spent my time after school and at summer camp. I recently got a membership so I can use the pool for training, and I occasionally use the gym since its included with the membership. As I mentioned, I was a regular as a child, but there was a good span of probably 30+ years I was not a member. Some things have changed, and some things have remained the same. For example, there are no more racquetball courts, but there are 2 restaurants onsite, including a Subway and a full service café. The gym has also been expanded with a lot of machines and racks/weights. There is no more diving platforms/boards in the pools. The indoor pool had a springboard, but it is no more, and I am the reason for that (ask me about it if you want to know), and it is also heated. I remember it was always cold as a child, and great on hot summer days, but now the temperature is regulated. There is major construction going on right now, adding additional 40 thousand square feet, and I just heard that the gym will be redone and expanded once the other construction is finished. Another thing worth mentioning is there is a lot of sports performance programs that "share" this facility, so if you are looking for services like that, you can inquire about it. Truth be told, there is always room for improvement. Some areas could use a face-lift, fresh paint, repairs etc., and I think they are making an effort to do this. I suppose they can only do one major project at a time. Overall this is a nice facility that has a lot to offer, and plenty of amenities and services. There is a lot of after-school programs and activities, summer camps, etc. An individual membership is about $65 a month, which is slightly higher than LA Fitness or some of the other cheaper gyms, but you get a lot more here, and better pricing with a family membership if you want to participate in other programs. The programs seem to be priced inline with other facilities, so if you have kids, its a good thing to look into. They do also have pricing for non-members. If you made it this far, I expect you to send me a message asking why there is no springboard in the indoor pool. :) read more

This place is dirty. Buildings could use a pressure washing and windows. Looked inside and dusty. With covid 19 you would think they would be models in keeping sanitary. read more

Came down with my daughter to SoBe from NYC for the week and I was searching for a gym that offered a 1 day or weekly passes. I browsed through the web and came across hiperfit which was a 3 min drive from the hotel. The trainer there indicated that they only offer personal sessions and so he recommended JCC. He advised me to go to here being that it was much more affordable than all the other gyms in SoBe. It was certainly better than what I expected. Passes are $10 per day. The gym has a smith machine, squat rack, leg press, extension, curls, cable machines, dumbells up to 80lbs and cardio machines. This being my first day there, I can't say much about other amenities they offer. For $10/day, I would absolutely recommend this place. They also have free parking on site. read more

I moved to the area nearly two years ago and had always been curious about this facility, since it looks nice from outside and had been renovated recently. I'm definitely more motivated by group classes than by running by myself on a treadmill, so I'm very happy with their offerings. Aside from the gym and different workout rooms, they have a pool, soccer field, basketball court, etc., along with an on-site cafe. Whether you're looking for spinning or yoga, bootcamp or Zumba, they offer a wide array of classes, all included in your monthly fee with the exception of Pilates (which I wish was part of the membership), and varying times make it convenient to fit any schedule. I prefer mornings (6am...I know...) so I don't have to make any excuses in the afternoon after work, but they also have several evening and weekend classes. Except for spinning, there's no need to register in advance or save your spot for any classes. Aside from the parking lot being small, I have no complaints. I do hope they don't continue raising their annual fees though. The instructors and staff are professional, the members are diverse, and the facilities are always clean. They have a good couple's rate and plenty of community events and activities year-round. read more

I can't even believe someone below was saying the JCC was expensive. This is the best gym on the beach not only because it's so affordable, but the amenities! It has a pool, soccer field, basketball court, racket ball (spelling?), and generally awesome modern facilities. My only complaints: the gym has everything you need, but should have been built bigger (I don't think they realized how many people would go for the gym) Second: They have an AWESOME class schedule! So many classes, but, I think for the spinning they should get some more professional instructors. The awesome instructors only teach in the mornings, and I have a job and can't work out at 9:30-11:30 a.m. when those awesome instructors teach. Pleeease get some good p.m. Spin instructors. I think a 6:30 spin class every day would be perfect! There is one front desk girl who is always on her phone WITH HEADPHONES IN, and acts annoyed when you talk to her. When I ask for the spin sign up sheet she basically throws it at me, and half the time it's the wrong one. She also told me the wrong class times like three times. Not good service, but generally the others are awesome. The parking situation is also kind of tragic . For the value and amenities, this gym is great. read more
