    $10 fish taco
    Ali A.

Service is friendly. Quite honestly not my favorite. I'm surprised Rubios has better fish tacos than this restaurant! I paid $10 for 1 fish taco that consisted of 3 small fish sticks (probably frozen fish sticks) and pico de gallo. The salsa they serve with chips is spicy but bland. They serve good drinks. This is why I'm rating 3 stars.

Fermented pineapple juice that was "fresh"

I should of heeded the reviews. Honestly.. im writing this before I get sick. No flavor in the meat, lemon and salt are your friends... the "jugo de piña" we ordered tasted fermented like kombucha... like.. rotted. The chips de asada was my last option. They were out of fish, and shrimp. Like HOW!?! Anyways.. its flavorless. As a mexican.. this is sad. The reviews dont lie. Its basically a dive bar/restaurant. The locals here are just drunk workers whom have nowhere else to go. They tip the waitresses because its basically them sweet talking them and being drunk. The food was bland, not worth the 70 i paid. Could of gone to a burger spot for half the price and better food.

Fresh, fresh fresh ! Do you know it's probably going to be good when the chips and salsa impress you first .. And quite an extensive menu, If you like a Mariscos, make your way to this lovely restaurant with a welcoming staff. Indoor and outdoor seating. very near the beach.. parking was easy to which is not your usual in this side of town. As I practice my Spanish my server practiced her English. It was a lovely encounter., Bonus they make their flan in-house Decadent!

Local and authentic. A setting full of love, eye contact and very good food. I had ceviche and my friend had tacos. Both were fresh and very very good. The salsas couldn't have been fresher and this was at 9pm at night. Again, the staff go the extra mile without even trying. Can't wait to come back.

    Clamato preparado

    Carne asada taco

Awesome coastal Mexican food and great service! We visited on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed their complimentary chips and salsa plus guacamole, shrimp ceviche, asada taco, agua mineral preparada with lime and tajín, and jugo de tamarindo. Everything hit the spot and was truly delicious! The service was also super fast and attentive! Check this spot out!

I am so glad I did, especially since it was happy hour. The place definitely has a great vibe to it. Plenty of seating throughout the restaurant. I recommend sitting at the bar as that's where all the action happens. You definitely want to make sure you get there for happy hour and Taco Tuesday especially, $10 Margaritas $4 tacos and these are not cheap tacos. These are like serious tacos that will fill you up. Their salsa is great, not super spicy and makes great for munching while you're talking with friends. The margaritas are definitely strong, which is nice, as some places tend to water them down for happy hour. I would say that this is a great choice to go check out and have a taco or two or three or four. I had the carne asada, the carnitas, and the pastor, every single one of them was perfect and the salsa that they came with was out of this world. Bottom line? This is a great place for Taco Tuesday as well as just a hangout and have a drink after work. Whenever I am in Costa Mesa. I am definitely coming here again.
