I thought that I needed 2 zippers replaced on my winter jacket. I found out that all I needed was the pull replaced which was done right then and there! It only cost me $5 instead of over a hundred!! Update on my vest and patches . I picked up my vest from Stitch it , Georgian Mall, Barrie ,…read moreMonday March 1st , 2020. They removed the patches and resewed them on , the rear are now straight and Centered but the back of my new leather vest is full of holes from where they originally sewed the patches on crooked and off Center. The front patches are now leveled with each but off Center with each other , and holes where the top patch originally was . I was fully refunded the cost of having the patches sewn on but now my brand new leather vest is damaged. Customer service did email me and apologized but I haven't been able to contact them back to see what they are going to do to compensate me for my damaged vest . Hopefully I hear back soon !

When I complained I was told they do not have the buttonhole attachment to do the job properly so the "seamstress" cut the sleeve shorter and hemmed the sleeve. I was handed two buttons as extra to take home. The lining of the sleeve is not closed up properly with two holes on each side. If one is looking for quality workmanship this is not the place. The manager used pins to secure the bottom of my leather pants and put several pin size holes in my pant. The quality of work is comparable to quality by inexperienced high school homec students. Very poor quality work. Not suitable for high quality garments!

Even though she was 40 minutes from my home and the others were much closer, I appreciated her quick response and decided to take the garment to Lorena. She was busy but still got to my garment within a few days. And she found that the issue was not the zipper itself but how it was sewn in. Lorena was able to repair the issue rather than replacing the entire zipper. I really appreciated her honesty and integrity, as she could have easily replaced it as I asked and charged me accordingly. I doubt other vendors would have taken the time to examine the problem and provide an alternate solution. I recommend Lorena and will definitely go to her for any future alterations or repairs.

The kind and patient man running the show also did up my zipper for me after I struggled for like 20 minutes. They asked me exactly what I wanted and made sure the service I requested was clear..The material of the fancy jumpsuit I needed hemmed was complex and painstaking and the price was still really reasonable. Extremely organized and clean space. Air conditioning. Only issue is it's not accessible for anyone with disabilities--it's up a narrow flight of stairs on the second floor. While k was struggling with me zipper I heard folks come in and out to pick up clothes who were clearly delighted repeat customers. I'm sure I will be too.
