Company Christmas party!
Terri H.

This was the first time at Mario's! My husband and I decided to have an early drink before our company Christmas dinner. To our surprise we were treated by the owner who found us a seat at the bar along with giving us a full tour of this magnificent restaurant that aims to please. From start to finish they have thought of EVERYTHING. Our Christmas party was in a special room that was located in the same building but away from regular customers. We were served buffet style and it did not disappoint! The Caesar salad lettuce crisp, flavorful and topped with the most divine house made croutons. I thoroughly enjoyed a sampling of the chicken Marsala penne vodka and shrimp scampi. If you looking for a true Italian experience this is your place. Also, so perfect for large events. We will be back for dinner very soon.

We ordered takeout. I got clam pasta with red sauce. The lobster ravioli was great also. The order came fast. I would love of they offered more low carb options. Everything was carbs.

The food here was really tasty and was made fresh. Sanitation grade was high and the service was swift. Food, of course, was delicious!

Went back because this hood is a food desert. The food is trash and my lord are they charging for it! With tax and tip one salad is $20, for an experience, quality and taste that should cost $3.50. An absolute joke and a ripoff. Extra star because service was good. Seriously, my last time. Geez.

We got there around 7:20 on a Friday night and were asked if we minded sitting on the bar side. No problem. Got seated immediately. Then it took about 15 minutes for our waiter to take our order. I had to ask for the cocktail menu. It took another 10 minutes for him to circle back for my drink order. On the plus side, I got the drink in about 5 minutes. We ordered a Sicilian style pizza so expected it would take a little time. It was hot and tasty on the outer edges. Unfortunately the center pieces were a little doughy. The pizza could have used 3-4 minutes more in the oven. A couple of big negatives: The cocktails have inconsistent pricing. The tv ad running constantly said $8. The table tent said $10. They charged $10. The other negative was a 3% supplemental fee charged on the order total. When I asked the waiter about it, he said there's a sign on the door. (I looked on my way out. There is a 8x11 typed sign about the supp fee.) While I enjoyed most of the pizza, the pricing shenanigans will probably keep me away.

First time coming here and was pleasantly surprised! It kind of reminded me of a mom and pop Italian joint in Jersey. If we are back in the area, we would certainly come here to eat. Great service, the food came out quick, and the portions were very generous! The garlic knots were delicious - I could have eaten the whole basket. I also enjoyed my pasta order, and the half size was way more than enough! My kids enjoyed their meals (again large portion) and my husband had Stromboli to take home too. Overall, it was a really good meal after visiting a nearby farm!

I was tempted to put only two stars but felt generous. The food was 4 stars The service was 4 stars The prices are now through the roof! $25 for 10 chicken wings!!! $19 for a beef on weck!!! I was in Buffalo NY last week and had this same food, which was 5 stars and paid half the price of here. It's sad, but we won't be back.

The red sauce was kind of dull, ketchup has more flavor! I am of Italian decent and make my sauce frequently using a family recipe and if mine failed it would still have more flavor. The noodles in every dish were woefully overcooked almost to the point of mushy - just awful! However, the meatballs were very delicious and soft like they're supposed to be and they tasted delicious! We also had enjoyed the cannolis - haven't had many since leaving NYC but these were quite good., I'm not writing Little Momma's off just yet, I will give it another shot, but I think the next time we'll eat in instead is f carry out. It might just make the difference between a good meal and a bad meal! If you want a good meatball, this is the place to which makes me think that there is a good meal to be had here. Give it a try!

So first and foremost when it comes to unbiased reviews from a full perspective of traveling all…read moreover the world and eating at some of the best restaurants in the entire world - Michelin stars included I want to say when it comes to Carrabba's wine dinners you are literally getting some of the best value food and wine TOGETHER literally in the entire country. You will not see and I guarantee consistent wine dinners for $65 dollars for brands like Stags leap or Orwin Swift and tons of amazing Napa valley wines for this pricing and value and overall quality. You may think $65 dollars per person is expensive if you're middle class or lower but I'm here to tell you really don't know what you're getting here at these...you're getting basically 4 glasses of quality wine sometimes more if there's extra but any bottle of wine at a restaurant that is decent will cost you 30-50 bucks minimum that's number 1. Number 2 the 4-5 course meal is always too much to eat and there's always another full meal just from that alone you can have the next day depending on the food selection so you're getting 2 meals basically right there. Then after the meal they always offer any entre on the menu outside of a 40-50 dollar filet for 10 dollars so it could be a 30 dollar entree basically for 10 dollars on top but that could be additional 2 meals as well. So translation here in English - for $75 1-2 times a month you're getting 4 high quality meals and 4 glasses of wine plus there's contests to win candles and free bottles of wine and even free wine dinners. Sometimes they will even offer you a 40-50 dollar bottle of wine they have extra from the vendor for 10 dollars too just because you came to the wine dinner. So if you're like me and you're sick of dropping/burning 300-500 dollars at Eddie V's or STK which we all know is never even close to worth it or you are going to wine dinners at Napa on Providence, Foxcroft, DTR, ect that do offer wine dinners for 125-150 you need to go to a couple of these and actually see how it matches the same value and the blue smoke and mirrors those places may give you'll thank me later because now you'll be able to afford 2 wine dinners a month at Carrabbas instead of 1...there's really absolutely no reason in this economy all these wine dinners are packed out the door because I swear you get double if not triple the value you would get anywhere else. So unless you like burning money which is a federal crime by the way I highly suggest going to at least one of these to see what I'm talking about. At the end of the day you can do whatever you want to do I'm just a kid what do I know ‍

I had the eggplant parmigiana, and it was perfect. The portion was generous and included pasta and perfectly cooked and flavored vegetables. Homemade tiramisu topped off our fabulous meals, which also included chicken parmigiana and "Marry Me Chicken."
