I had a dripping hose bib and couldn't unscrew the valve. I found Plumbing Express on Yelp and…read moredecided to give them a call. A plumber was available that afternoon, so I was happy to take the appointment. The technician (Mark C.) arrived promptly and assessed the situation. He also concluded the valve needed replaced. He offered a couple options ("better" and "best") and I made my choice. He did the work professionally, and took care to tack up some plastic to protect my walls near the service area. A short time later with the work completed, he reviewed it with me to make sure I was satisfied - I was. This wasn't the most complicated repair, but access to the plumbing was tight and I needed an experienced technician to just solve it. Marc from Plumbing Express did just that.

TLDR: I would not hire this company. Not only am I very disappointed with the diagnosis process and…read morethe repair that did not address the issue that I called them for but also with the failure of their management to address my concerns. I called Plumbing Express to investigate and resolve a water leak in my kitchen ceiling. The leak was directly below my master bathroom toilet, which my sister and I had already narrowed down by tapping on the kitchen ceiling downstairs while listening upstairs, where the sound was clearly strongest near the master bathroom toilet. The technician briefly inspected both bathrooms but focused on my sister's bathroom on the opposite side of the house after noticing a damp sponge under the toilet tank. My sister explained the sponge was there because she sprays and cleans the toilet regularly, not because of a leak. The plumber then cut open the kitchen ceiling drywall, stated the leak was coming from the water supply line from my sister's toilet, and performed a complete toilet tank rebuild for $450. After the repair, he gave me a card for a company that performs restorations and recommended I call them to inspect for subfloor damage. When that restoration company arrived, they immediately stated there was no way the ceiling leak could have originated from the secondary bathroom because of the location and no evidence of water stains. They recommended another plumber and a leak detection company come out to find the leak before they performed any work. I contacted a second plumber, who agreed the leak was much more likely connected to the master bathroom toilet directly above the leak area. Finally, I hired a leak detection company, and they also confirmed the leak aligned with the master bathroom location, not the secondary bathroom Plumbing Express repaired. At this point, three separate professionals have stated the leak could not have originated from the bathroom Plumbing Express serviced. I paid $450 for a repair that did not address the actual problem I originally called about. In Response to Ty G: Your response is totally incorrect. I would not have called the second plumber and the leak detection company if your recommended restoration company had not told me that the leak was not identified. The pictures taken are of the secondary bathroom not the master as we discussed in our phone call. It is totally "disingenuous" for you to now state that the master toilet was the issue. This validates everything I thought about your company. Others beware!

True Plumbing came out to inspect the main line coming into the building by running a camera down the line, and located where our pipe was failing. They recommended replacing the old cast iron drain line with PVC. I felt like what they recommended made sense, and understood what would happen before we started this large project. There were several guys that came out, finished the cast iron replacement and drain reroute in two days. They were able to do this while we were doing several other renovations going on at the same time so it was pretty chaotic. I appreciated their communication throughout the project (texts on the way, let me know when they were leaving, what was left to be done, etc.). Since the work was done, the system has performed great and we passed the Cobb county inspection with flying colors. If you need cast iron pipe replacement or a drain reroute for a commercial building in Roswell, I'd happily recommend True Plumbing.

True Plumbing replaced our 16 year old gas water heater two years ago. Today, the technician told me we needed to replace our 2 year old water heater and get an electric one instead. If this review doesn't disappear, I'll fill in details later. Do not get your water heater from True Plumbing.

During the installation, he discovered that my sump pump was not functioning properly and stayed late to make sure it was fixed correctly. Cody was thorough, knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride in his work. The job was completed neatly, and he cleaned up everything afterward. I really appreciated his professionalism and attention to detail. I would highly recommend Chen Plumbing and Cody A. for any plumbing needs.

I was disappointed with Chen Plumbing after reading so many great reviews. My 20-year-old water…read moreheater started leaking, so I called them out. The techs said my water pressure was extremely high at 110 psi, which surprised me because our original plumber had set it quite low. They checked the PRV at the crawlspace entrance and said PRVs need replacement every three years. They quoted $3,200 for a new water heater and PRV, or $3,000 with their "$19/month membership" - which they made sound like an obvious deal. The tech told me that if I adjusted the PRV myself, they would not warranty the water heater. Before leaving, the tech mentioned a $49 dispatch fee. I reminded him that someone from Chen had texted me saying there was no fee, and only then did he waive it. After they left, I checked the water pressure myself with my own gauge. It was just under 60 psi, which is ideal. And I learned that PRVs typically last 10 to 20 years. It seems like a lot of techs are under pressure to upsell people with pointless warranties. Edit: Chen plumbing did reach out to talk, but I was busy working with another company to get the water heater installed. Notably this new company set the ballast at 55 after checking our pressure levels and seeing it at just below 60. After telling him what happened that morning with Chen, the tech went into the crawl space and checked the PRV. It's fine. (Also, they charge half what Chen would've to install a new PRV)

For years, we dealt with the problem that the sump pump actually wasn't strong enough, but we had no clue. Matthew came in and told us that an actuality, not only was the sump pump aged, but we also needed one that was a lot stronger to handle the amount of rain that was rushing down the staircase outside our house to the basement door. At times, the amount of was so much that would quickly slip under the door and flood our basement and had done times. We kept thinking, maybe it was just because the sump pump wasn't plugged in, or the drain was clogged with leaves and debris, or we just seal that whole area off. But we never had a clue that all this time it was just because the sump pump was under performing; that, as Matthew put it we had a .2 strength sump pump and needed a .5 hp sump pump. Well, he thought that he wouldn't be able to replacement that late at night, but he dug in anyway, and actually found one, retrieved it from the store, and replaced it, all in the same night. We're so glad he was able to assist and that we on ROTO-Rooter to assist us. We highly recommend going with ROTO-Rooter anytime you have problems. Thanks, Matthew again. We appreciate it.

It just gets worse and worse…read more.. Again, I wish there was a way that I could give Roto Rooter zero stars. Ironically, their laughably inept service at my house wasn't even the worst part. I don't know if they are the finance team, accounting, or part of their customer service team, but the staff that I dealt with (Shannon, India, and Vanessa) we're unprofessional, rude, and just plain threatening in all the emails. And mind you - this is all because they are coming after me for about $200 that my insurance company is supposed to pay. But my insurance company refused to pay it because Roto Rooter couldn't justify the cost. Anyway, I finally got tired of dealing with all the children and decided to be the grown-up and just pay it. Now we all know, between, me my insurance company, and Roto Rooter, you can guess who has the least amount of money. But it's OK - it is worth it to be done with them for forever So I'm asking you all to do me a favor - DO NOT USE ROTO ROOTER! I'd rather go ahead and pay them this money versus somebody else spending $2000 or more giving them money for incompetent, rude, and unprofessional service.
