I had a part go out on my car and took it to them to have it repaired and they checked back in their records and found that the part had been replaced a few years before and it was still under warranty. I didn't remember that and they certainly could have charged me to replace it again...but they didn't. They did what was right. I seem to always get to talk to the owner and he is very helpful in telling me my options. I go there often enough to know that they will take care of me and my cars.

Not everything goes perfect as planned. Parts are made by man. Not every part bought for rebuilds are perfect. There are tons of moving parts in a automatic transmission even a manual transmission. However automatic transmissions rely on fluid pressure to make things go vroom. I am very willing to be if you take your car back for a problem they fixed he will be more than happy to make sure you are taken great care of. Mickey is a hard to catch guy when it comes to "phone calls" that's what secretaries are for. But you can catch him there most of the the time and he won't dodge you. Lot of shiesty places out there. Mickey's is by far the most affordable and smart technicians in the field. Never seen anything the man can't fix or figure out. The man will pull an entire dash board out of a vehicle find the broken wire solder and heat shrink it wrap it up like it came from the factory and have no left over bolts. Mickey stays late and will work all night if it means getting a big job done for people like travelers that just want to get back on the road. You want it done right and don't want to end up stranded go to Mickey's.

I had to call vw and track down my parts took over 5 days to get a part from Houston. then got told he blew my head gasket only to then be told no he didn't blow head gasket! supposedly put in a new water pump! attached my bumper on wrong so there is now a horrible gap! then went 5 miles down the road to wash it bc the inside drivers mat and pedals were caked in mud and leaves! only to have the dreaded check engine light come back on! so now I have to take it to a whole other mechanic to fix what this shop ruined on my car! Not to mention this should've only been a 6 hour job they had my car for 14 days & gave me NO kind of discount or compensation! vw gave me my radiator for free because of the fact that their driver got lost with my part for 5 days! and Andre and the lady that works inside tried to act like they got me the radiator for free! not to mention once I was on the phone with the owner he called me a few choice words and said little girl you will pay your bill!! Worst shop ever just go anywhere else but here!!!
