The owner brings in well made, unique and beautiful fashions that you won't see elsewhere in town. While I wouldn't classify Lolly's as a shop for the frugally minded, the quality of the clothes, and timelessness of the pieces that I have purchased there makes it worth the higher pricetag. I have gone there to be accessorized for an evening out (in my evening wear, hair done) and found the staff to be positively delightful - they had fun with me, chose the perfect accessories, and even steamed my dress for me. A wonderful shop!

I have also gotten a few Japanese handmade kitchen knifes that I brought back to Hong Kong ( when we can still travel! ). They great for everyday use and are not expensive at all! With a huge parking this location has been one of our go-to "Winners" and we usually don't leave empty handed!!

This company used to be much better. Found a table that I…read moreabsolutely loved. It was close to closing and since I was out of town I wouldn't have time to drive home, measure the space and return to buy it. Was told to call right at opening the next day to put it on hold it I wanted it. The space was perfect. Called in the morning and was told I can't put it on hold. Asked to speak to a manger, and spoke to TOBY. He was so incredibly rude and obstinate. Wouldn't even hold it for 90 minutes (how long it would take me to drive there.) so basically I would be driving all the way there with a young baby and toddler (not to mention the cost of gas) to gamble if I get it or not. I have shopped at this store location since they opened years ago. I will not be shopping here again. Hoping they open one closer to my town so I don't have to go to Abbotsford.

Daughter and I stopped in for a look around on one of our walkabouts, and were very pleasantly pleased with what we found and observed. The shop, though looking small from the outside, has two levels of displays inside, and is well-stocked with a fine range of various collectibles, antiques, and such. I liked and appreciated the ambiance -- it was quiet (background music, at low level), with lighting appropriate to the kind of establishment and offerings -- and our cordial and informative host. We enjoyed browsing the several areas of the shop, and checking out the various displays. And amongst the looking around, asking our host a few questions about the shop, and some of the items we found of most interest. It was good to see this fine shop back in business, and wish them well in their endeavours.

I did buy a cool radio from there, which was a little overpriced I thought for a second hand store but still cheaper than buying new. We came prepared and brought a small sample piece of the fabric that my custom make skirt made out of red satin, so it would ease in finding a matching shirt. When he asked us if we were looking for anything in particular he had a very opinionated fashion sense. I stated that it was formal attire and that the looks needed to be complimentary. He offered two shirt selections one that was a very busy pattern of pinks and reds like a water colour art work and another that was bright blue and purple ombré with a flashy pattern. We ended up going with my selection that was black, red and white that was the closest colour shade to my skirt. I was sad to be told that they didn't have any plain black shirts with pockets so that he could choose the option of a hanker chief. So be sure you take into consideration what your colour scene is and what your goal is. All in all the stop was a success and he loves to stop in for shirts for special occasions.

Instead of…read moregetting the suit fitted at that time we decided to wait until closer to the wedding date to ensure the fit of his suit would be just right. Unfortunately, when we returned, the salesman who helped us was not professional or polite. The salesman who helped us on our second visit was the same one who helped us when we initially bought my fiance's suit but, this time, he had a completely different personality. When we arrived, the salesman loudly commented that my fiance had "definitely gained some weight" from our last visit. Not only did he make this comment loud enough for the entire store to hear but he continued to comment on the weight my fiance had apparently gained. On their website, Rex Cox states that "customer service has always been the foundation of our business" and "that the relationships with customers were equally as important as the high-quality menswear we offered". Considering these statements, I would have thought that the salesman would have treated my fiance, who was a customer, with respect and that the salesman would have acted in a professional manner. Making frequent comments about how my fiance had "definitely gained some weight" was not only rude but it was hurtful. Needless to say my fiance and I left Rex Cox and we have no plans to ever return!
