While I wouldn't classify Lolly's as a shop for the frugally minded, the quality of the clothes, and timelessness of the pieces that I have purchased there makes it worth the higher pricetag. I have gone there to be accessorized for an evening out (in my evening wear, hair done) and found the staff to be positively delightful - they had fun with me, chose the perfect accessories, and even steamed my dress for me. It was disgusting. I understand stores have policies but seniors must watch their money and the item returned was in perfect condition. To boot, they say that the do alterations; my husband took his wedding suit there for minor alterations two months before our wedding. He went back four weeks in a row, with them promising over and over that "it would be ready the next week" and that "the tailor's are behind." Finally I went in and asked for them to return the suits, as our wedding was coming up shortly. He reached behind the counter and got it from a rack - it hadn't even GONE to the tailors - and without so much as an apology, handed it back to me. We will never frequent their store again - bad service, terribly neglected store.
