The model train that zipped around the ceiling was fun to follow and watch; the neat TVs that the children can pick and watch a cartoon or movie is just making adults super jealous that this is not their dentist appointment! My daughter got to use her senses to experience being at the dentist--the kind dental assistant explained all the tools to clean my daughter's teeth and at the end, the dentist came by to check that everything was in order before culminating in my child picking a new Disney-themed toothbrush and a prize out of the prize bin. The staff took extra precautions with covid with having everyone wear masks and even having children sanitize their hands before picking prizes out of the prize bin. It was a very warm and gentle dental experience leaving my daughter feeling secure in going to the dentist and telling me many times on the car ride home: " Mama, I LOVE going to the dentist!" If you're in the area, you'll want to take your children to the dentist here!

The procedure was on baby teeth, and we asked for standard fillings but she used white, which insurance wouldn't cover. These molars will be falling out in the next year, why use white? Billing department is awful. Takes forever to get back to you when you call. Submitted our claim incorrectly to insurance, so we ended up having to pay the whole bill out of pocket. We later found out that this doctor takes patients who don't have insurance and supplements them by fully billing other patients. We're all for charity, but find other ways to fund it.

Two kids saw different dentists, first one was professional and nice , second one was one of those "I know best" she insisted I do X-rays , I refused! You could see she was becoming angry , I kept my cool as she explained how safe X-rays were (lol) the accumulation of X-rays over many years are a problem! She said that if I didn't allow X-rays , I can't return for any appointments and she refused to sign the school papers to confirm we had a check up and kept the other form that had been signed already by the other dentist! Interesting how these dentist are so focused on making their morning huddle numbers that they don't care for the patients health! This was all about what she needed and she certainly is not getting it from us! Old fashioned/ out of touch and condescending!

The dentist shared his plan to obtain the xrays that weren't possible with a fussy toddler. He updated us with all the work completed under sedation. A follow up appointment was already scheduled. The anesthesiogist went above and beyond to describe his plan for an amnesia event. No pain and no memory of being poked and prodded. Two of the three adults accompanying the toddler provide direct patient care. After the procedure, he described possible bruising from cardiac monitor pads, nasal cannula, and IV site. By proactively identifying and explaining comforted the third adult. What to expect for a toddler waking up from anesthesia in the next 12 hours helped set us up for success. The gaming room with vintage games (Pacman) were a hit with the adults. What caught my attention was a large number of plugs in the waiting room. Each of the plugs had covers protecting little ones from injury. After arriving home with our "dizzy" toddler, the office called to check in to make sure everything was going as expected. Highly recommend this location for pediatric sedation dentistry.

After having to hold my…read moreson down kicking and screaming for prior exams with another pediatric dentist, I made an appointment to see Dr. McKee based on a friend's enthusiastic referral, even though it was distant from our home AND he is out of our insurance network. It was all worth it. I am so glad we went to Dr. McKee. The atmosphere is inviting. The toys in the waiting room are clean and plentiful. There are video games for the older children, puzzles, and an intriguing ball maze that my kids loved. The visit started with toothbrush selection. The hygienist was very patient in explaining all of the instruments to my nervous 6 yr old son, who asked a lot of questions. There was no need to restrain my son because he felt at ease after being reassured by the hygienist; he willingly sat back for the exam and x-rays. I was stunned. The same occurred with my 4 year old daughter who was very apprehensive. She was relaxed and calm. The kids were provided sunglasses with fun characters to shield their eyes from the bright light. They are allowed to select the flavors of toothpaste and fluoride and receive a sticker and a token which is redeemed for a small toy from a vending machine in the waiting room. Dr. McKee was patient and very friendly. My son later told me that the best part of his day was going to the dentist. I enthusiastically recommend Dr. McKee and his staff without hesitation.

Over the weekend, my 15-year-old had 2 fillings fall out that Dr. Davis placed in 6 months ago. She was awake all-night crying about the pain. When I called for an emergency appointment this morning, I was informed by Kara, the office manager who also consulted with the doctor, that Katie was suddenly not only too old at 15 to be treated, but that because her sister missed an appointment (supposedly) on October 1, 2012 - yes, 10 years ago - that neither would be allowed to be seen again. They claim that Katie also missed an appointment last November. My children have been every 6 months since they were toddlers. They claim that they left a vm on our home machine. Absolutely no message left and no appointment missed by either child in literally 15 years of going there. This practice does not allow you to schedule a cleaning or wellness exam (which my children have never missed) until you are sent a card in the mail that you may schedule. The children complained at times about the practice, but it is close and was not a problem until now. They informed me to find a new dentist on the morning that I call with an emergency appointment.
