On August 28, I called this office twice to confirm that they accepted the Aetna Vital Savings plan since they were listed on Aetna's site as an in network provider. The receptionist told me that if they were listed online, then the plan should be accepted. I relied on that information and enrolled my father in the plan that same afternoon. I then called back and provided his membership number before scheduling his next visit. At the appointment on September 17, I was surprised with a full price bill. No one notified me that the plan was not accepted even though the office had his membership ID on file. Their staff later confirmed that they were not in network. Strangely, the provider listing is still incorrect on Aetna's website even now. I sent a detailed and respectful letter explaining what happened along with full payment. They cashed the check and did not reply at all. I am sharing this so other caregivers understand what to expect. When someone calls ahead and asks directly about coverage, it is reasonable to expect accurate information. For patients like my father, who have cognitive impairment and almost no spending money, unexpected bills are extremely difficult. This whole situation could have been avoided with clear communication.

I can't explain how great this fine crew of people are. From the front receptionists to the…read moreDentists themselves, my experience was top-notch. As soon as you come into the door you are greeted by friendly smiling faces putting you at ease. I was terrified of dentist visits for years but these extraordinary people quickly made those feelings fade away into the sunset. They never made me feel bad for the neglect I put in my teeth but focused on fixing the problem. My journey started with getting my problematic wisdom teeth removed. First off their sedation Doctor is such an impressive and professional woman. I had an over the phone consultation covering all the usual questions; have you ever been sedated before? Do you have any questions or concerns? No eating or drinking after midnight, ect. She was very astute and put me at ease. The day of my oral surgery I was very nervous but again the welcome I got was tremendous. At this point I should also mention how new, fresh, and clean the facility is!! Very cool corner type windows in the working rooms, giving you a nice view to concentrate on while dosing off on sedation. After waking from the procedure they made sure to give me ample time to find my equilibrium and also assisted me to my car. Had a ride of course, can't drive after any sedation surgery! The Doctor who performed my operation must be the best in the country because I had no post opp pain. Of course I was prescribed painkillers but I could of honestly went without them. That very day, after a little nap, I was able to eat a hot dinner and enjoy cold drinks without a problem. We scheduled a few follow ups to check on how well I was healing, perfectly again thanks to expertise of the Doctors! I just completed my second phase which included getting cavities and other chipped teeth corrected and had the same experience. Five star all the way! I will be getting two artificial molars to replace some that were damaged from Tae-Kwon-Do sparring (Always wear a mouth piece during contact sports) and crowding teeth. I'll be looking forward to another positive experience. In conclusion if your someone who always had a fear of the dentist this is the place for you. I have found a dentist for life and my fear of them has been purged. If there was a list with the top ten Dentist offices in the world, The Dentistry at 10431 Perry Highway is on it TWICE!!
