As soon as I stepped into the office, I was thrilled to not detect any strong chemical or artificial fragrances like from plug-ins. I have asthma and I truly appreciate just a clean space. I immediately relaxed. Dr. Pancake was wonderful! He was extremely personable and very gentle. The other staff members I met were also super nice. I have had very uncomfortable experiences in the past, but I know that I was meant to find this practice, and I look forward to my next visit!

Over the weekend, my 15-year-old had 2 fillings fall out that Dr. Davis placed in 6 months ago. She was awake all-night crying about the pain. When I called for an emergency appointment this morning, I was informed by Kara, the office manager who also consulted with the doctor, that Katie was suddenly not only too old at 15 to be treated, but that because her sister missed an appointment (supposedly) on October 1, 2012 - yes, 10 years ago - that neither would be allowed to be seen again. They claim that Katie also missed an appointment last November. My children have been every 6 months since they were toddlers. They claim that they left a vm on our home machine. Absolutely no message left and no appointment missed by either child in literally 15 years of going there. This practice does not allow you to schedule a cleaning or wellness exam (which my children have never missed) until you are sent a card in the mail that you may schedule. The children complained at times about the practice, but it is close and was not a problem until now. They informed me to find a new dentist on the morning that I call with an emergency appointment.

The staff there are so nice and friendly, and you can tell they like being around children! My kids love getting to pick a prize from the prize box after their cleanings. One of my children has had extractions due to some orthodontic problems and Dr. Davis and his staff worked miracles for my daughter. She never cried or was worried during the entire procedure thanks to Dr. Davis' caring bedside manner. Pros * staff genuinely likes children, lots of smiles and kid-friendly conversation * sensitivity to children's emotions and apprehensions * courteous desks staff * prizes for the kids * very clean facilities * excellent at giving appointment reminders Cons * office is in a lower level of a building & feels a tad dated looking - could benefit form brightening it up with paint or other updating * use fluoride (could be an issue for those who avoid fluoride)

I can finally say go for it to my daughter and send her off with the hygienist to have her teeth cleaned and see the doctor without my involvement. She does fantastic! I love this practice and recommend it to anyone with a special-needs child.

The office staff are stuck up and the doctor is the worst- the female doctor there shamed me for choosing not to use fluoride. Then denied my son treatment- they made up a lie about the anesthesiologist having a weight limit. I know it's a lie because my niece is older and weighs more and had the same procedure done at that office specifically. If you call with a problem about your experience, the office manager is rude, unprofessional, and she will hang up on you. At least she did me. I definitely do not recommend this place. Their management at the Wexford location should do better.

We called ahead of time to schedule and made sure it would be okay for me to come back with her due to her anxiety. This was even after we had called to confirm that it would be okay for me to come with her. We ended up leaving and not being seen. Sadly we didn't get to give this place a chance due to their policy which was not made clear to use ahead of time.
