My order is always: Thin crust Lite on the tomato sauce Extra toppings: Meatballs and sausage! I don't know if you can see from my pictures but they are very generous with the toppings! So many other restaurants just sprinkle some toppings but here you definitely get your money's worth! Best pizza I've had in a long time! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the patio! It's completely sheltered from the sun, rain etc! Even when it's very hot outside- their patio gets a cross breeze and they have big ceiling fans and it's very comfortable! Very calming![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My only suggestion is to be able to split the music volume between inside dining and outside patio! The music is wonderful but with the road noise you can barely hear it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It would enhance your experience if you could raise the volume outside without raising it inside. My first time visiting Mario The Baker in West Palm Beach. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a wonderful restaurant with a ton of tables, booths, and chairs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Today I was served by a wonderful waitress named Lilly. She treated us like royalty. The pizza was fantastic and came out super quick! This pizza specifically is a high-rise (thick) crust cheese pizza with extra cheese, pineapple, and garlic in between the cheese layers. It was a very odd order but absolutely delicious. The sauce and the cheese they use is absolutely amazing. I really enjoyed my first time visiting Mario The Baker and I hope to go back again soon. Yesterday, my coworker went to Mario the Baker for lunch and brought back a garlic roll for me, and it was so good that I came back after work to order dinner, and I definitely made the right choice. I even met the owner, who said him and his wife have been in business for over 25 years. I told him I was looking for my new go to spot and he said "look no further" and was not lying! I ordered the baked cheese ravioli and a medium pizza with half pepperoni and the ravs came with 3 garlic rolls. I am super picky when it comes to sauce but I loved it! It was not chunky which I love and had a very nice flavor and the perfect amount of melted cheese, and the raviolis were tasty too. The pizza was also a hit, and you can tell that they use top notch pepperoni. The crust was cooked perfectly and the pizza had a solid sauce to cheese ratio. read more

Drove past this place for years. Thought it was a bakery till my Baby Boomers group went. No problem accommodating us (15) No problem with separate checks. I shared a veggie pizza which was delicious. Others raved about the eggplant parm and chicken parm. read more

If you're looking for fancy it's not this. That being said I'd choose this place over a "fancy" restaurant any day. It's a family friendly atmosphere, that makes you feel welcome from the second you walk in the door. Has a homey feel. The food is great, the prices are super affordable, the service is fantastic. All in all one of my favorite places. read more

As soon as you walk in all you do smell is garlic. It is absolutely intoxicating. Everybody is so nice. They say hello and they welcome you.. we sat down. There were four of us and the waitress came over immediately and she was so full of bubbly and energy. I feel terrible and I forget her name. She's from New Jersey and she was so so sweet. We ordered an antipasto, I ordered the pasta v" soup. It was absolutely delicious. We went in to order our main meals and she was so helpful. My friend and I split an eggplant Parmesan sub. It was perfect. My husband got the veal Parmesan. Her husband got the eggplant Palm. Everything was perfect and absolutely flavorful, and the garlic was flowing. I think I left their smelling like garlic. It was absolutely delicious. Cannot wait to come back thank you Mina. You and your family do an incredible incredible job.! read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Was able to snag the outside patio for a large gathering of friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The wait staff was very accommodating, even offering separate checks if we wanted (wasn't necessary this time). They kept the drinks filled and food wait was very acceptable. Ordered the Chicken Francese with penne and it was great. The lemon sauce was so good and flavorful; ended up using way too many garlic knots to sop it all up. Oh Mario, Mario... what would we do without you? I've dined at this local favorite more times than I can count, and I honestly think I've tried just about everything on the menu. Not once have I been disappointed. The pizza is always delicious, the lasagna is my personal favorite, and the Chicken Francese is absolutely amazing. And whatever you do, don't skip the garlic rolls -- they are mandatory in my book. I was first introduced to Mario The Baker what feels like a million years ago when I was in college and there was one in North Miami Beach. We called to ask about the soup of the day and had a really disappointing experience. The phone connection was already difficult due to background noise, and when the staff member mentioned two soups, we simply asked what ingredients were in them so we could decide. Instead of helping, the tone became rude and dismissive, and it felt like we were being spoken down to for asking a basic question. We weren't trying to be difficult at all,just trying to understand what we were ordering. We decided to end the call because of the interaction and won't be ordering as a result. Customer service really matters, especially when someone is just trying to get simple information. At that point, we'd rather go somewhere like Grandma's Brooklyn Pizza, which has much better food and significantly better customer service anyway. read more

Figured would try again...ugh! This time the meat pizza was inedible. None of us liked it, had to throw it out. Had weird taste, definitely didn't taste remotely fresh (ingredients were poor/subpar). Such a waste of food, but it was that bad, nothing could help it. read more

We came here with friends who selected the restaurant based on the fact that it had recently been chosen for having the second-best pizza in Palm Beach County. We weren't so sure about that designation, but we are always willing to try a new to us place and happy to get together with "old" friends. They were packed when we arrived, but we didn't have too long a wait for one of the just opened tables. We started by sharing an appetizer order of meatballs. There were two to the order and it was in a bath of tomato sauce. The meatballs were large. It was a good starter while waiting for our pizza to be ready. Our friends shared a side salad to start. It was a pretty basic salad with iceberg, but they'd expected it. For our pizza, we shared a medium white pizza and added mushrooms. It was just the right amount for the two of us. I saved one slice for my breakfast the next day. There were copious amounts of mushrooms, and it went well with the mix of cheeses (including creamy ricotta). Our friends got a large pizza -- one with sliced tomatoes and mozarella (sorry, forgot the name) and also added mushrooms. They wanted to have some leftovers for his lunch the next day. Both of us couples enjoyed their pizzas. We had very good service, as well, even though they were crazy busy. (And they don't take reservations.) I remember going to the original Mario's in North Miami many years ago when I first moved to Florida. I saw some of the garlic rolls being carried by our table and remembered liking those in the past. This is the first restaurant that really doesn't offer ANY healthier options!!! We assumed I could get grilled chicken parm or grilled chicken in a salad and was so surprised to hear they do not offer any grilled chicken cutlet!! The waitress acknowledged that numerous customers have asked for this as well but the restaurant chooses to not expand their menu option. She suggested a lentil soup ???? I ordered the eggplant parm which was mostly breading. Oh well, there are many other restaurants we can choose. read more
