When I needed a last minute haircut the weekend before Christmas, I remembered and asked her where she went. I called and they were able to squeeze me in last minute. The salon is small and features tropical decor. It is very pleasant, and as the previous reviewer mentioned, has a "Steel Magnolias" feel to it. My stylist was friendly, listened well, and gave great suggestions. She clarified things well before hacking away with the scissors. It was definitely the happiest I've been with a cut in awhile. They use some new product lines I am unfamiliar with, but they smelled AMAZING. Overall, I'd say this is a great place to go, especially to make major changes. The price isn't as high as many salons but still high enough that I won't be able to return each time I get a trim; I will probably come back every few visits.

I was impressed that when making the appointment they were able to recommend a stylist with a good background in color. Sabrina was very sweet, she did a great job with my highlights and cut. My hair is damaged and she was very careful to minimize further damage. The salon doesn't look like much from the outside but it is is bright and nicely equipped and decorated on the inside. All the stylists seemed to get along well and there was a cheerful vibe. It was very busy and the stylist knew most of their customers by name. The cost was about what you would expect for a cut and highlights. I would recommend giving them a try. Unlike my calls to some other local salons, this one seemed to want my business and cared that I received the best service possible.

I've been a customer of RODNEY for over 20 years since he began as a simple stylist in a salon in…read moreHarbor Center when Harbor center had just opened. I have followed him all over this city as he moved from salon to salon and from shop to shop. I even flew home to have him do my hair when I was relocated for work. But it seems that Long-term relationship, and loyalty no longer matters to RODNEY and his salon - only money. Over six months ago, I called and canceled an appointment within 48 hours of the appointment. When I tried to go back, I was pushed off onto another stylist who was not as good as RODNEY. And when I asked about appointments that I booked out in the future for Rodney they had canceled them. At the time the staff acted like they didn't know what it happened but today I found out. I had an appointment this morning but woke up very sick and called and had to cancel my appointment. I just returned home from a two month hospitalization and I've been very sick and I explain that to them. But I got a call later demanding $162 for the canceled appointment which would've been half of what I might have paid had I gone in for the service today. I was told if I didn't pay that the other two I had already made would' be canceled. So now I know what happened six months ago. But I got no phone call from them six months ago they just eliminated me off the books without my knowledge. appointments . So after 20 years, this is what it's come down too. After 20 + grateful years and this is how one is treated with and Indifference and insensitivity and a lack of empathy. But the nerve to ask me to pay money for service I didn't receive. But I had been questioning returning to the salon because the attention from RODNEY was no longer there. He wouldn't pay attention to the colors I asked for or the cuts I requested. were requesting. He would simply cut my hair the way he wanted to cut it the way he always cut it even though I was requesting change. The problem was he was always distracted talking on the phone or talking to to people hanging around and not really listening to me as this client anymore . And then to push me off on another stylist was very disappointing. He's supposed to be so busy but I've been in the salon waiting while he walks around talking to people not working on clients eating food, so the quality of the service has just gone down. But it's a hurtful way to end such a long-term relationship. And that they think they can treat clients in this manner and the clients will simply come back because they're the only good salon in Annapolis. Well, that might've been true some 10 years ago, but that is no longer true and clients have options, I have options. So I did my research and found many five star salons in Annapolis and I believe that instead of being taken for granted and dismissed, I'll get more attention and be treated as an appreciated customer. Goodbye RODNEY. Stop thinking so highly of yourself that you can charge outrageous amounts of money for substandard service these days and then dare to demand payment when someone calls in to cancel an appointment because they're ill.
