They itemized in a detailed quote what they were charging me for and why. They also provided information about pros and cons of different rock, plants, and edging options so we could work within our budget. Service: Jay and his team were great. From the first day where they saw our location, they were cordial, informative and did not make my wife and I feel pressured. They took their time and worked with us. Provided recommendations that we then were able to research which was helpful. They kept us in the loop as to when they were coming, when they expected to finish and the one time they had to delay things, they informed us in advance so we could adjust. We have young kids and a dog and they even provided us with some stuff to watch out for when fertilizing our yard. Quality: We're happy with how things were done. Even provided my wife and I recommendations on how to ensure the plants thrive and that the rest of our yard does well. Overall: The cost, the quality, the way they communicated and treated us was excellent. We will not hesitate to recommend them to others in our community.

After the first visit, I contacted the company to express my concerns. It took several days to hear back, and they responded by asking how the second visit went -- before it had even happened. When they did return, the results were just as bad. The job was still patchy, with uneven cuts and areas clearly untouched. It looks like they need to sharpen or change the mower blades, lower the deck, or simply slow down and take more care. For a service I paid for, the quality was unacceptable.
