We had 7 different companies around our area in Maple Grove come and provide bids and JKR was by a significant amount better. Cost: Out of all 7, they were the best. They itemized in a detailed quote what they were charging me for and why. They also provided information about pros and cons of different rock, plants, and edging options so we could work within our budget. Service: Jay and his team were great. From the first day where they saw our location, they were cordial, informative and did not make my wife and I feel pressured. They took their time and worked with us. Provided recommendations that we then were able to research which was helpful. They kept us in the loop as to when they were coming, when they expected to finish and the one time they had to delay things, they informed us in advance so we could adjust. We have young kids and a dog and they even provided us with some stuff to watch out for when fertilizing our yard. Quality: We're happy with how things were done. Even provided my wife and I recommendations on how to ensure the plants thrive and that the rest of our yard does well. The system was not working. Everything was working fine until Best Irrigation winterized my system last fall. I called the company and they told me there must be damage from the freeze that had happened. This damage was not communicated to me, noted in the service techs notes, nor anything said about any damage that could have happened because of the freeze. The parts were lying on the ground and parts were obviously broken. The service tech told me everything went fine. If parts were lying on the ground and cracked parts, then there was obvious damage and it should have been communicated. If I knew there was damage I would have scheduled an appointment. The lack of communication is unacceptable and I will be finding a new irrigation company. I spoke to Best Irrigation and they did not want to remedy or help fix the problem.

Exorbitant Charges and Mispresented Service I recently had…read morea terrible experience with Wett and Wild and its founder, and I cannot emphasize enough how disappointed and frustrated I am with their services and misrepresentation that this individual is still part of the company. The most egregious issue was the exorbitant charges they levied on me. They charged almost $500 for just four sprinkler heads, 20 feet of line (did not need to dig or bury) and 90 minutes of labor! When I spoke to the business office about the charges, they said that the founder no longer works for the company but he'll sometimes go out and do service calls when customers call his phone - the original phone number for the company. As a remedy, they said they'd put a new phone number sticker on my control box this fall when they blow out the system. Lack of character on all counts - not taking accountability. We've used Wett and Wild for almost 10 years. That ended today. My advice: Save yourself the trouble and money, and look elsewhere for a reputable and honest lawn sprinkler service.
