Kiser Construction was careless, unprofessional, unreliable, dishonest, and had poor project…read moremanagement. Our job was a small breezeway remodel, siding, soffits and fascia to be replaced. Our first quote was in August 2025. Our job was completed June 2026. The job itself was supposed to take days. They started off in January 2026 by putting a hole in our foundational wall when removing our brick from the front wall. We could see light coming in through our basement wall and there was no window. At first the Senior Sales Manager, Rusty, tried to tell us it was our problem and we needed to hire a waterproofing company. Then they tried to say the hole in the wall was already there. After much arguing on our part, they fixed it. Next, they applied the wrong type of siding and the incorrect colors. Rusty tried to tell us that the siding they applied was the same as the siding we requested. They applied pressed wood siding and we were contracted for fiber cement siding. He was just lying to try and get us to keep the wrong siding. And amongst all this Rusty let us know he didn't add the soffits and fascia to our contract. Our siding, soffits, and fascia were all 30+ years old. We discussed replacing soffits and fascia at our initial meeting. Soffits and fascia are billed for in our contract financials on page 7. Rusty still insisted he had to bill for soffits and fascia. He added a change order for almost $5,000.00. More dishonesty. We are still battling with them regarding this change order and a couple of other items that need to be credited. Kiser will be filing a lien on our home. This is just ridiculous. We have paid all we owe. Billing had many issues. This is where things really get shady. There was one particular item Rusty gave us 2 answers at different times and they totally contradicted each other. That item was then credited. There were charges added for work we did not request. There was math that didn't add up, in their favor. Your home is a costly investment. Find someone who can do the work correctly, who is honest, and will be respectful of you and your home.

From September till December nothing was done their excuse was they were waiting for insurance company which had already paid out I was without a kitchen for 9 months a full kitchen I was without the important components of a kitchen from September till December the prime months of the holidays Then upon firing them we requested they return all our doors and drawers that they had taken off of our property because for some reason they had given the go ahead to their cabinet guy to create face frames for them well guess what there is much you can do with face frames and NO doors ! They have not answered at the point to return our property. And remember 5 months with no countertops sink ..I have pictures of what that looks like. Also you question about progress the PM demeans you and basically treats you like idiot. Beware of Christians wearing crosses claiming integrity.

He also suggested an improvement to add facia to the home to help preserve the roof rafters. Michael was a super good communicator letting me know when the work would be done. He properly arranged for city permit and inspection. His crew was great - clearly knowledgeable and so respectful of my gardens. They did a great job - you could see how well everyone worked together to get the job done and they really did a nice job of cleanup before leaving the site.

Two major reasons not to hire Clark companies for shoreline restoration. First - did not show up…read moreon the day they said (Sunday) and did not call (yes, I thought it unusual but possible to get a quote on a Sunday and for this reason I repeated that it would be Sunday that the estimator would be coming, which was confirmed by dispatch) but later showed up four days later, as if that was the agreed to date. Second, the quoted price was more than three times more than two other price quotes - unbelievably and obscenely excessive - no amount or quality of work, as distinguished from others could justify or explain that price, other than be a pure money grab. These two issues raise the regarding the business ethics and integrity of this company, and so I will simply caution others who may need a contractor - get other quotes and compare!
