Super friendly. Super easy to book an appointment online. No hidden fees and probably the best price you can find for a DOT physical. $80 as of April 2026. Easy to find free parking during the weekday in a pretty safe area. They can send all your DOT paperwork to the DMV for you so you have no headache. My paperwork was submitted the same day and DMV approval within 2 business days. Dr Faria and staff has a super clean office, super nice and attentive. On time. Efficient and fast with the exam. I will be doing my DOT physicals every 2 years here from now on! read more

On the morning of Saturday 7/2/11, as I adjusted myself in my desk chair, my back somehow went out. I called my regular chiropractic office in SF near my former workplace which has Saturday hours. But this being the Saturday of July 4th weekend, they didn't. ARGH!!! To my health plan's website I went and found that there was a chiropractor a few blocks away from my apartment with regular Saturday office hours. And after a quick phone call I learned he was in despite it being July 4th weekend. I was in agony and so thankful that there was a doctor I could see. My back was so bad that morning; I could barely clean my legs & feet in the shower and had tremendous difficulty getting my socks & shoes on. The office is state of the art and Dr. Drew uses numerous techniques which got me and has kept me moving again. Typically when I arrive, I lay on one of the four Hyrdo beds for 15-20 minutes. Super relaxing. It's basically a small waterbed with jets that move up and down your body applying pressure and massage. You can press pause and have it concentrate on a certain area as well as being able to adjust the overall pressure. Dr. Drew's chiropractic beds look like the typical ones. But, unlike the typical ones they move electronically and manually up and down as well as side to side giving a good and painless stretch. After a good stretch, he typically applies a padded, vibrating massage tool to my lower back, legs and feet. Next, is perhaps the most valuable and amazing tool in Dr. Drew's arsenal.... The Cold Laser. This machine detects your knots and beeps when it finds it. It is amazing. It always beeps where I feel the most discomfort and then sends healing lasers my way without any discomfort. It is "stim" on steroids in my opinion. And, of course, he gives excellent manual adjustments as well. Additionally, Dr. Drew is the first doctor I have seen that has suspected a causal link between a break I suffered to my left tibia as a teenager and my back issues. It was something I long wondered about but he noticed without any prompting from me. Dr. Drew has taught me numerous exercises and stretches to keep myself feeling good. If you live &/or work anywhere near Jack London Square and need chiropractic care, Dr. Drew is your man. He's super thorough. read more

Went in on a Saturday (yes, they have Saturday hours!) for an adjustment and massage. At 36 weeks along, my lower back has been bothering me on and off...so a little tlc is just what I needed. The new office is super nice, clean, and conducive to relaxation, not cold and sterile like a typical doctors office. The staff was genuinely friendly and very accommodating. The massage and adjustment were awesome especially since they have a pregnancy support/pillow that allowed me to lay on my stomach....truly relaxing!! Dr. Drew is wonderful -- very caring, very amenable to trying various options, and extremely professional. His staff are also very courteous, and his office feels very new (because it is). He runs his schedule on time -- typically the wait is 5 minutes, and the most I have ever had to wait is around 15 minutes (just one time). He's even left his home to come by when I mistakenly showed up an hour early for the first appointment of the day. He works long hours all week, including Saturday. NOWHERE have I seen a doctor as dedicated as he is to his patients. (In fact, I keep telling him to block out a few slots so he's got time to take care of himself more.) On top of that, he is the only doctor (and I saw several dentists and specialists) who has been able to address some tough TMJ/TMD problems I was having with my jaw. It was a tough case, and he used a variety of methods and tools to get the job done. I've also had a massage there, and the masseuse was one of the very few who actually listened to what I asked about where to spend time, and did exactly that, without wasting time doing things that I didn't need. Dr Drew and his entire office are AMAZING. He runs a great operation and it shows from the minute you walk in. I came here after an auto accident and through consistent treatments I was able to feel normal again. I still make an effort to come monthly for "maintenance" visits. I really appreciate the care that goes into his treatments. He is gentle and always explains so there are no surprises. His staff has seen almost no attrition so you know he runs a great business. His equipment is top-notch, up to date, and kept spotlessly clean. His staff is very accommodating. He provides coffee and water to all his patients. His massage therapy team is also superb. I have tried 3 and have been very pleased. The massage will refer a patient to another massage therapist on staff if he or she thinks it would be better for the patient. I came to Marina Wellness after having another issue with a bulging disk in my lower back. Out of 3 chiropractors that I have ever been to I must say that Dr. Drew is the best. He understands that there is a connection between the muscle tissues and the bones and because of this he works to employ multiple techniques to help speed up your recovery. Sure enough after the third visit I went from almost being unable to walk to fully recovered. This is in contrast to other practitioners who magically require you to come in for as many visits as the insurance company will cover. When I realized Marina Wellness was literally a block away I walked over there to check it out after I reviewed the video and went to the web site. My first impression when I walked in was extremely positive... I loved the aesthetics and the Spa feel to the office. I was greeted and helped immediately by such personable office staff. I was excited to learn they offered therapeutic massages as well as acupuncture too. So I made an appointment for Dr Drew... When I came back for my first appointment and met Dr Drew his energy and personality are what a person in health care should be... Positive and caring. He took the time to listen to my current issues and I explained some of the things I did not like about my previous chiropractor... His approach with me to my wellness was exactly what my body needed. He truly has a gift and when you spend the one on one time with him and allow him to treat your issues you'll experience what I mean. I additionally receive deep tissue massages from Marissa. I have had massages at some of the best Spa's in the Bay Area and she is at the top of my list. Again Dr Drew's practice does not have a feel of a white wall sterile office... There are several rooms and all are very private and quiet with Spa music playing... I am always able to relax on the table and feel like I am at the Spa. After reading all the great reviews, i decided to schedule a massage here. I have severe backpain due to being pregnant and really needed some solid body work. Unfortunately, even after I mentioned that i would like firm pressure, and an encouragement to go stronger after the initial minutes were very gentle, not much changed. She didn't get into the sore muscles at all, it was more a gentle 1h process of rubbing lotion onto my back. Maybe there's a fear because someone is pregnant they may be fragile and will evantually fall apart under a firm massage? Well the opposite is the case and a strong massage is what i really needed to alleviate the pain I'm in. Unfortunately not satisfied. The atmosphere in the room was nice and staff was nice, so I'll generously give 3 stars. read more

I was recommended Dr. Drew by a colleague and have been seeing him ever since. On my first visit he was very informative and helped me understand my lower back pain issues. He walked me through the examination and why he's doing what he's doing. I never felt rushed and he answered all my questions. His adjustments were gentle and effective. He has been great in relieving the pain and educating me in preventative steps to avoid the discomfort. I got hit by a outdoor mall kid's train a few months ago. True story. It triggered lower back pain and some pretty bad shoulder & neck pain & tightness:some I already had from being at a computer all day for work. I decided to get some relief and found Marina Wellness and I am so glad that I did! Dr. Drew is AWESOME! He is really genuine, funny and a nice guy. He seems to really care about his patients and is knowledgeable too! The office is nice and the front desk staff are friendly and helpful. At first, I started seeing only Dr. Drew until he suggested I get massages as well and that is when I met Rhonda. She is AMAZING. I have gotten tons of massages before and I know a good massage therapist when I see one.
