The regulars have also been incredibly friendly, which makes it feel like a true community. As long as you keep an eye on your pup and clean up after them, you'll have no problem here. We learned this information when we took an Old Town Trolley tour around St Augustine to learn more about this amazing city and its streets. Aviles Street was originally called Hospital Street because it was the location of the second Spanish Military Hospital Museum, which is open to tourists even now. There are local musicians who perform at the corner of Aviles Street and Artillery Lane. That would be fun to watch! Sidewalk cafes offer food and drinks while visitors enjoy the music. We want to return to this delightful street, which is more quiet than St George Street with less tourists. It is in the beart of historic St Augustine. Do not attempt to drive down this street because it gets very narrow and your vehicle will get scratched up. It is made up of cobblestones so wear comfortable shoes.

It also is the city of 7 bridges that are very photogenic, especially at night when they are lit up. We visited the Cummer Museum of Arts and Gardens, the statues of the Runners, the Main Street Bridge, the Cancer Survivor's Park, the Leg Lamp from A Christmas Story, restaurants, shops, Deck the Chairs exhibit, Blackhawk Bluff Christmas lights drive, and the elegant Cowford Chophouse. There is also the Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens, various water sports like kayaking, paddleboarding, surfing, swimming, fishing, the St John's Shopping mall, the Florida theater, boat tours and bicycling. Jacksonvillebolle is also very close to St Augustine, the oldest city in the US. Jacksonville also has the honor of being the largest city in the United States land-wise. It's a trip well worth taking.
