If I could apply more stars I would, Issac (owner) is totally honest and transparent, he shows where the problem is at and charges you a fair price too. I actual fact Issac saved me over $3.5k! I was told by Santa Monica Brakes I would need a new turbo, Isaac showed me, cleaning out the area beforehand to show it was a rubber ring all of $0 to replace the ring (parts zero, not labour of course)which was causing my oil leak! Will definitely be going back when I have to. Recommend by my Uber driver no less. read more

On a Monday morning I called and arranged to have my Land Rover towed here, Isaac agreed and said he would call with a diagnosis and estimate once it arrived. I didn't hear back from them until 4pm when I was notified my car was ready.... I was told my vehicle had been repaired and ready to pick up although I had never been given a price or a diagnosis. When I asked about the issue why my suv wouldn't start he said we replaced the started you owe me 700 and can come get your car. I started in on how I never Received any notice about the price or repair and I would have taken somewhere else to make the repair I only needed a diagnosis. He began to yell and curse at me, saying if I want my car back to bring his money..... then when I picked up my car it had a 12 inch scratch on the front bumper. He swore up and down it had nothing to do with him. I was never given my old starter and never agreed to the price or notified of the issue. Very bad experience, won't be back. I've been going to this gem on the Westside for close to a decade now and they knocked it out of the park again today as usual. Quick, reliable, & affordable, Isaac always goes the extra mile. Was at dealer in Santa Monica for a recall recently and they quoted me $1500 for a fix to a seatbelt/ airbag problem (I didn't ask, btw). Isaac fixed that and did a service for under $700. Hidden gem. Came in for some service for the first time at this location. Got attended real quick. Isaac knew what was the problem right off the bat. Fixed it no problem. Treated me like family. Super nice guys ran bunch of tests on my car spent hours diagnosing and gave me options. I ended up walking out Disconnecting my horn that was going off as a short.. Like broken alarm. Incredibly helpful as I didn't have 400$ to get a new horn and couldn't keep my neighborhood awake another night. They showed me all the codes reading in my car and physically what they were doing step by step. I walked out of there for a lot less ! And will def go back for them to repair a few other things. Hmm. I'm pretty sure there should be more reviews for this place and they have just been deleted. I would never go back. I originally did not want to go here but my other mechanic was sick and I had an emergency. Everything about the place seemed suspect. They wanted me to sign a pre approved estimate form without giving me an estimate number so after I signed it they could write in whatever! Then being the uninformed consumer that I was I was going to go back there for them to do a really small job that should have taken roughly 5 mins. Of course when I called them they told me they would need my car for at least an hour because it was a difficult procedure. Luckily I did not have time to take it in to them and ended up at another company near my work, they ended up doing it for free and it took them 2 minutes. That is when I officially knew this mechanic was messing with me and was not truthful. I would not recommend going. read more

I took one of my BMWs here for a pricey repair that the dealership said I needed urgently. The guys pulled my car in and up on the lift to examine and showed me that I did not need the $2500 repair but rather only a $500 repair... They checked a couple other things and advised that I will need front tires soon. Very polite, professional, knowledgeable, and not pushy at all. I ended up taking my other car there too for some maintenance and am happy I did. These guys are great to deal with and have become my go to shop. Before I moved to California I did all my own work on my cars so that is how I know these guys are honest and not trying to make extra money on me but they actually saved me money. This is the most honest and helpful car mechanic I have ever met! I took my car here not knowing Isaac. He went above an beyond for me. Taking 7 hours to look into my entire car and what I may need since I have an old 2006 Mercedes. He didn't charge me for his extra work, but instead gave me an amazing price and was incredibly detailed with all he did. He was so kind and spent time with me to explain everything to me. BEWARE! They will charge anything they can get away with! I ordered an auto part through them for which they charged my card. However , thereafter I DID NOT take delivery of the item ordered because I found the same auto part at the Mercedes authorized showroom for HALF THE PRICE and bought it. I called the merchant to let him know that and to cancel the order and get a refund. He did not comply. I called the bank to cancel the charges. I got a provisional credit but then the money went back to him - I can only guess because he convinced the bank it was a "legitimate" transaction...which it was not by any account. Not to be trusted. I'm surprised to see a one star review and no others! Something must have happened to delete the reviews. I have been coming to this shop for 10+ years with 4 different Mercedes now. This is the most honest mechanic I have ever come to. I moved to San Diego and I still try and arrange to drive my car up here when it needs service and fly out of LAX for trips! A few years ago I took my G500 to the dealer because I happened to be close and it was sputtering and not driving well. They quoted me $1100 to fix it. I brought it to Marina Benz expecting it would be maybe $500 because they are usually half price what the dealer charges. The owner called me 20 minutes after I dropped it off and said its all done, no charge! It was just a loose hose! read more

Isaac's shop is one I recommend to anyone. They are honest and you get a good price for the work completed. I've had so many issues with my BMW leaking oil. Not only did Isaac fix the problem, he uncovered that the previous mechanic from another shop who worked on my car before screwed up. I was given a 1981 380SL last year and am in the middle of restoring it. I needed a heater hose for it and had spent a month trying to find it, without any luck. I looked everwhere and asked everybody. I drove by Marina Benz one day and decided to see if they could help. The owner asked me to come back with the old hose and the VIN for my car. My car has an odd VIN and doesn't show up in the Mercedes Parts Database. He spent about an hour researching and found the hose that I needed. He even ordered it for me so I wouldn't have to go to the dealership to get it! A couple of weeks later, I took my car to him, because it needed repairs before it could pass smog. A day or two later, he called me and said it was done. When I went to pick it up, I asked him what I owed him. It was around $200.00. I then asked him to recommend a place to get it smoged and he told me that he already did it, price included! He knows that I'm going to do most of the work on the car myself, so he gave me a list of problems he found while he was doing my repairs. This guy is awesome! I was on the way to Costco and my right tail light went out. I saw Marina Benz and I pulled in and they were very busy. A man by the name of Isaac came out and immediately I told him the problem. Isaac took one of his mechanics off of a job and he told them to help me. He opened my back right hand side of the electrical tail light and he immediately found the problem. He said the tail light is fine it's a problem with the contact. The repair man went into his shop and he did something and came right out and fixed the tail light connection and it was all finished in 5 minutes. I could not believe the service and how quickly they helped me. I will definitely come back and work with them. It left me with a very good impression.
