I have a 4 month old puppy and a five year old dog who have very different needs. I find watching my puppy pretty challenging sometimes but it is never an issue for Mark! My dogs love his yard and I feel like they are getting their own little vacation when I'm out of town. Another huge plus is the price - I've normally paid around $55 for each dog, but Mark charges $55 for two dogs which is a huge cost saver for me. I highly recommend using Mark's services if you are going out of town and want your dog to be comfortable and happy!

We always chose places with video cameras because that was really the only peace of mind that the dogs were doing ok. It was a little depressing watching them sleep most of the day away in their pen, though. Our pups would be so anxious when we'd pick them up. Im so grateful that my husband recently found Mark's business online. Mark boards a couple of dogs at a time in his own home, or if he is booked, he will come to your home for walks/feeding/playtime. We've had him watch our pups both ways and couldn't be happier. He is very loving with our dogs, professional, accommodating and a great communicator - couldn't ask for more!

Ana Can Help! is the newly-launched housekeeping business of Ana Gómez, a native of Durango Mexico…read morewho recently moved to the Hillsborough area after running her housekeeping business for 15 years in Boulder, Colorado. Ana is what our mothers and grandmothers used to call a real housekeeper. Not a cold "cleaning service" that shows up and does just enough and no more, often sending different people time after time, Ana offers the personal touch. First, if you're lucky, you get Ana herself who is smart, English-speaking, and sunny as a summer day. Second you not only get a clean house or office, but you get extra household services that Ana will do for an hourly fee as an a la carte add to regularly scheduled services: laundry, ironing, shopping, pet-sitting, window washing, cabinet clean out -- you name it and you can add it to your regular cleaning. And as if that were not enough, Ana's husband Erik is a skilled carpenter, plumber and handyman who's as comfortable fixing a leaky faucet as building you a new closet (which he did for us, beautifully). Honestly, I hesitate to put Ana Can Help! here on Yelp. After all, this little dynamo can only have so many clients. If you're smart, you'll get in on the ground floor. Ana Can Help! serves the Hillsborough, Durham and Chapel Hill areas. You can also book her for special event and party clean-up.

One of our dogs (age 6) is quite nervous and has come home from traditional boarding in the past, stressed out and not eating. Our other dog (age 2) was a new addition to our family. She is a great dog but suspicious of strangers. The two dogs had never been boarded together and certainly not for this long. We had a medical emergency before we left for our scheduled trip. The owner worked with us so we could drop them off early. When we returned, they were happy, well-rested, had eaten well the whole time we were gone! Our hope is that they would be "OK". They were better than "OK" they were great. They were boarded together in the same kennel for a very reasonable rate. It was obvious they had plenty of outdoor time. Despite those instructions, they shaved it anyway. Since the appointment, my pup has been visibly uncomfortable, agitated, and appears to be in pain. As a pet owner, it is heartbreaking to see your dog hurt after trusting a groomer with their care. What is most frustrating is the lack of accountability. Aside from saying "sorry," there has been little acknowledgment of the seriousness of the situation or responsibility for ignoring clear instructions that resulted in my dog being injured. I am sharing this so other pet owners can make an informed decision. Please be cautious and make sure your instructions are followed if you choose to bring your pet here.

I was able to visit my cats weekly and could tell they were very comfortable with both Stan and Mary. My one cat who had never left our family home since she was fixed at 8 weeks old (about 7 years ago) LOVED Mary and felt very comfortable there, adventuring around the cat room during our visits.
