Deciede to give this company a try over the winter. they brought me a ton of molded and weedy hay- as in 1/2 of most of the bales were weeds - as if they had harvested the edge of the field and included the weeds. And they thought it was perfectly fine to deliver this poor quality hay to a customer - I had to return it and they gave me all my money back . I gave them a check second chance this week . My delivery window was 10 to 12, they showed up nine hours late. The guy pulled in to the wrong spot then proceeded to drive over my lawn where I have a sprinkler system and he put ruts in my Nice green lawn. Then he said I'm not walking all this hay over to your barn. I can dump it here and you can move it. I said I'm paying for delivery. I want it delivered and stacked. I told him I had tried to reach out so he could use the roundabout and back in - so he proceeded to do so . It was so dark, even with my floodlight that he really couldn't see where he was going - and instead of getting out of the truck and saying "I'm so sorry I'm gonna have to come back "he left.. Instead of reversing next to my hay shed, he hit the gas and he took off and left WITH my hay. Nobody from the company reached out the next morning to say they're sorry about his bad behavior. Let's reschedule -nothing . No communications no apologies. No nothing. He just split and never looked back. I have been around horses a very long time and I have never had somebody just split . I'm not sure how they have stayed in business . Caution everyone in the middle of winter they will sell you moldy weedy hay and when they're nine hours late and your Haybarn isn't exactly the right place they're just gonna take off and leave read more

In the course of just one season of Custom Hay work with Maricle Land and Livestock, Frank and his team managed to damage two brand new fences, they ran over the COID water delivery pipe, they left a 15-foot wide swath of weeds around the entire perimeter of my property, and to cap everything off as they were harvesting hay they ran into our well-casing for our house water and completely fried the pump. Through it all Frank was difficult to reach and did not seem to care about all the damage he created on our property or the subpar work that his crews were doing. When I told him that I felt he was too busy to work our property and that if things didn't improve we would find someone else he replied "go for it." So we have.
